i love it when you tried to speak Thai, so cute. btw, that Thai dish you ordered was ‘Khao kluk kapi’, Khao = Rice, Kluk = to mix, Kapi = Shrimp paste. if you wanted to know and try using Spoon next time to be more like us 😂
I feel like I’m getting nowhere.. 😂 sometimes I get some interesting looks lol! The rice dish is my new favourite! I cannot live without it, it’s so yummy! And It’s actually funny you say that about the spoon.. chase said multiple times he wished he has a spoon. 😂🙌🏼 Usually we eat with spoons, promise we will have to make sure we have them 🥰🤗
Khao Kluk Kapi (ข้าวคลุกกะปิ),
Fried rice with shrimp paste
is a traditional Thai recipe and one which is unique to Thailand.
The dish is typically served with several side dishes or toppings, such as sliced cucumber, sliced shallot, onion or purple onion, deep-fried or fried shrimp, shredded or thinly sliced sour green mango, chili peppers, deep-fried chili peppers, sliced thin egg omelet or crêpe, sweetened roasted pork, Chinese sausage such as kun chiang, and mackerel, among others.
When Thai people eat this dish you will see that they will take the time to mix up the ingredients on the plate and ensure that each spoonful contains a bit of everything.

I will be there in May. Looking forward to it. it's when the tropical fruit from the east coast comes out to the market. Something like Durian Morn-Thong. What you had was Khow-Kluk-Kapi which is fried rice with shrimp paste eaten with sweet pork, shredded green mango, long pea, Chinese sweet sausage, and chili.

how was the menu prices
I do sprinkle a pinch of salt on my hot latte with 3 teaspoons of caramel syrup. Bitter, sweet and saltiness tremendously compliment each other. Anyway, try to use your thumb and index finger to pick the salt instead of sprinkle it from a bottle.
Finally! Someone who gets me haha. People think it’s weird but it’s so much better! I usually use my hands as well. When I use the bottle accidents happen with too much salt 😂🥴

You pronounce Samui, as Samoi (a no no in the Thai language) it’s pronounced Sa-Mui, as in Mui bien! ie, sa mu ie. nothing serious here!
