1. Mangosteen, if durian is the king of fruits Mangosteen is the queen of fruits. You can actually pinch the side of the peel to open it or use a knife to cut the sides around it.
2.Pomelo is a giant orange. Thai people call it Som O (Som mean orange).
3. The banana you eat is Kluai Nam Wa. Kluai mean banana is one of the varieties of banana that Thai people like to make as a dessert. And the big banana in your country that you can often see is Kluai Hom. It's big and fragrant. And if I introduce my favorite banana, the egg banana, it is small and the middle of the banana is orange and tastes like an egg.
And 4. Dragon fruit is actually a kind of cactus fruit. The trees are elongated and can climb along the walls or on the trunks of large trees. The dragon fruit tree was a long, green color shaped like a dragon or dragon's backbone. and its fruit shall be at the tip of the tree. It would be like a dragon carrying a dragon orb.😁😁🙏🙏
I like the queen of fruits better than the king of fruits that's for sure!!! haha!
HAHA it DOES look like a giant orange!! hahahaha!
Thats so cool! haha my friend from home just told me that sometimes we have dragonfruit at home but not often, and they're SO SMALL and are kind of brown. Not really pink and green vibrant colours that are here! Thailand is much better for fruit!! haha

@@josieliftsthings There are many kinds of fruit around Thailand. This is the normal fruits that the agriculturists have their farms for harvesting to the markets. I think you will search or ask the information before eating. The taste of fruits are sweet, sour, bitter or astringent. You will eat it with sorting. I recommended the sour taste of fruit is the first. You will be happier than you eat sweet firstly.
That first Purple garlic fruit called Mangosteen queen of fruits , Second mandarin thingy called Pomelo orange third well watermelon fourth thai banana fifth was a dragon fruits an last one was a Rambutan . Aka Tropical fruits 😘 .
I LOVE MANGOSTEEN! And pomelo I’ve never heard of it! There is a clothes shop here called pomelo 😂😂😂
🟣 do not eat seeds
⚪️ only eat white meat
@@josieliftsthings we also have pomelo salad , taste sooo good
Normally you can find sweet pomelo but up to seasons (actually yes it is same kind of orange type) Thai name pronounce as Som-O (som is orange).
Dragon fruit has 2 color white inside and purple inside but white is more fav. And normally you just cut in the middle and peel off with your hand.
@@josieliftsthings The pomelo tastes like a cross between grapefruits and blood orange. 😃 If you have the chance, you should try Sapodilla ([TH] Lamood), Longan ([TH] Lum Yai), Langsat/Long-Gong and Maprang/Mayong Chid. You'll be pleasantly surprised too! 😃 oh and can't forget the many varieties of mangoes!
This is durian season so you’ll see tons of durian in the market like that. Durian and mangosteen are on the same season durian giving you hot feeling and mangosteen giving the cool so people likes to eat them together to help you balance the vibe that’s why they called durian king of fruit and mangosteen queen of fruit in Thailand.

Actually Thai consider mangosteen as Queen of Fruits while the king is durian.
The furry lychee is not lychee but it is rambutan or "ngo" in Thai. This fruit name is one of many challenges in pronunciation for Thai Language Learner.
The giant mandarin is Pomelo, the one with pink pulps taste in the way of grapefruit.
Other fruits you might like to try are Snake Fruit (Sala in Thai), Long Kong (different from Longan), Ma Yong Chit, and maybe Rose Apple.
I like the queen of fruits more than the king of fruits! 😂😂😂
NGO in Thai, I’d like to learn how to pronounce that! I’ll look it up haha.
Rose apple sounds GOOD! Haha and I’ll add all of them to the list! I can’t believe there’s still so many I don’t know haha!
Thank you for watching!! 😁😁🙏🏻
Your face when you eat new things just cracks me up! Along with you being more than a bit clumsy is so endearing, don't ever change and edit out them out coz it bloody funny to watch... And I agree Mangosteens are delicious 😋
Haha thank you!!! I love being 26 years old and still being able to discover things for the first time!! Hahaha never, I like to make laugh! 😂😂
Thank you for watching!! 😁😁
I love her face when she try new things too. From Thai people who live in 🇦🇺. I enjoy to watch your clip very much.
My wife and I just watched this video and didn't even know we wanted to try fruits when we go to Thailand at the end of the year! Thank you for posting. We will definitely be trying some of these now.
I love this comment! So glad you could add something to your trip by watching my videos!! Thank you!! DEFINITELY try a mangosteen, and some places you can find rambutan already out of the furry skin - we got some last night that's so good too! haha thank you for watching! 🙏
I'm Thai living in Chiang Mai. Can't tell you how much I enjoyed watching this lol.
😂 😂 I'm glad you liked it!! I'm happy that I found my favourite fruit mangosteen in my favourite place, Chiang Mai! 😂
FYI : when you eat durian if you eat mangosteen after
the mangosteen will help to cool down your body temperature because durian is so rich causing your body temperature to rise
Thai people normally eat them together
Haha that's so cool to know!! Thank you!! I'd definitely like mangosteen after durian because it tastes much better to me! 😂
If you want a sweet mangosteen fruit, choose dark purple skin color. While not all pomelo tastes sweet, some taste a little sour and also taste sweet. And pamelo also comes in 2 colors, namely yellowish and pink. Likewise, with dragonfruit, there are white and also red colors. The taste of rambutan is sweet like lychee fruit, but lychee fruit is juicier and the skin is not hairy like rambutan fruit. I really enjoy your adventure and thanks for sharing. Big Like. Have a nice day. Greeting from Singapore.
Oh I need dark purple that’s so good to know! Thank you Cheiko!! I wish I had the sweet pomelo! Haha thank you for watching Cheiko!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻😁
The tropical weather in Thailand ripens the fruits much better than in colder climates like Australia. Thanks for showing us some that are unknown/uncommon to us Aussies! Looks yum!
It is such good growing conditions here!! It makes the fruit taste SO good!

thanks for sharing josie so many different fruits to try. if you try to ask the stall holders they normally show you how to open the fruits and try before you buy, what did micheal think about the fruits which was his favorite, such a great place for fruit all year round but most are in season.
😂😂😂😂 I wish I knew to squeeze them to open!! 😂😂 Michael LOVES mangosteen as well hahah. He didn’t mind the rambutan either but we definitely ate all of the mangosteen straight away 😂😂 I might go back for more hahah!
mangosteen to open press hard around the center.
Pomelo is a cross between grapefruit and orange sometime sweet or sour.
Dragon fruit cut down the center then cut quarters.
rambutan peel it don't eat the seed.
Haha I wish I knew to press it!! Much easier 😂😂
Pomelo would be nice sweet! But I got a sour one for sure 😂😂
Thank you Mary! 😂🙏🏻🙏🏻
By far this was my favorite video. I love fruit, especially these fruit!!!

Mangosteen (the queen of fruits) is an exotic, tropical fruit with a slight sweet and sour flavor. How the mangosteen with two hands at both ends and squeeze it to create a crack then open it at opposite direction.
10:15
Cultivated banana in Thai call Kluai Nam Wa
11:47
Dragon fruit. Peel and cut it into sections when you're ready to eat it. Muck like an avocado, you eat the flesh and discard the skin. You could also cut it in half and scoop out the
Hahah thank you!!! I wish I knew to squeeze the mangosteen it would’ve been much much easier 😂😂😂 thank you! 🙏🏻😂
10:15 It is a grapefruit, not a banana. Some grapefruit is sour and some is sweet. But if you eat the white stretched noodles, it will be bitter.
There are so many more kinds of fruits that I hope you get to try. Also, there are many variations / types of each fruit that you have tried in this video too. For example, that banana is called Kluai Nam Wah, the big one you have at home in Aus is called Kluai Hom, while my favorite type of banana is called Kluai Kai. Hope I can get to take you around to try more :)
Hey Josie, mangosteens and rambutans are my favourite fruits. I can literally eat it everyday but here in Australia it's too expensive lol😅 everytime I see them i get so happy and excited. You can find them at any asian supermarkets here in Australia when it's in season. Tips for Mangosteen: to find out how many little slice are inside of a Mangosteen, look on the bottom of the Mangosteen, you will find a brown colour shape like a flower. Count the little slice/ petals and it will tell you how many slices are inside of it. I hope you understand what I'm trying to say lol. If not just check the bottom and you will know what I'm talking about😊
Mangosteen is my FAVOURITE now!! By far!!! 😂😂 that makes me sad that at home it’s going to be expensive 😩😩😩
I’m going to have to find some Asian supermarkets when I come home!!! Haha! I definitely understand and I didn’t know that! That’s so cool! Hahah, thank you so much! 🙏🏻😁😁🥰

Thank you for watching!! The fruits here and so different and so delicious! Thank you!!
Rambutans are my favourite fruit ever 🥰 I’ve never really been able to find them in Australia so it’s exciting when I actually get to eat them. I’ve never tried Mangosteen because I didn’t know what they were, but definitely will now, thanks!
I’ve never ever seen a rambutan at home!!! Hahaha! If you find a mangosteen in Aus let me know I’m going to need them when I get back they are SO GOOD 😂😂😂
Sometime you can buy mangosteen at harris farm.

Rose apple is so good, it was my favourite fruit in Thailand! and the mini pineapples!!!
Rose apples! Which one was that?? 😂😂
@@josieliftsthings you didn't try it but you should! loads of it in Chiang Mai.
that you’ve mentioned about mandarin, actually it’s ส้มโอ (pomelo) easy to eat sweet & a bit sour it’s so good
For mangosteen you can look at the bottom of the fruit, something like a flat flower can tell you how many pieces inside mangosteen.
That’s so cool!!! I was walking past and saw a tray of mangosteen now and I saw the bottom and now I know what it means! Haha! Thank you!! 🙏🏻😁
After eating Dhurian, the Thai people will eat Mangosteen to cool down their stomach. It is the way to balance between the heat elements of Dhurian and the cool elements of Mangosteen. Cheers!
I have had a few people tell me this is what Thai's do with durian and mangosteen!! That is so so interesting! hahah Thank you so much for telling me such a cool fact! 😂 😊
Indeed with this comment Durian had heat elements that could make you sick if u eat a lot but mango teen will cool it down that why we call King and Queen of fruits beside from taste. For Durian you will not like it for first try but after you come over smell you will addict to its favor.

Hi Josie😁 when you eat rambutan or mangosteen you just squeeze it😁.Mangosteen is my favorite fruit., so glad you liked it😁 oh besides dragon fruit the other fruit you've tried the sour one is pomelo its like a grapefruit the skin is color green and when it is peeled you will see transparent flesh the one you've tried. you should try the other variety the sweet one, flesh is almost color pink

When I first got to Thailand I asked a street fruit lady for mango and what she gave me was green so I took it home and only had a bite without Thai sauces because I didn’t think I got a mango! Haha! After that we realised that you can also buy green mnangos in Thailand! (We don’t sell or eat green mangoes at home) Hahha so I haven’t tried it yet properly! 😂😂
Australian here. My wife and I lived in Laos 2007-2015 and these fruits were part of our everyday diets. The fresh fruit and vegetables are outstanding in Laos.
I cannot wait to go to Laos and try them there too! That’s such a long stay I’m so jealous! Good to hear from another Australian! Any tips that you have send them my way 😁😁
@@josieliftsthings ,, Laos is still fairly conservative. Take care of what you wear into temples,, cover up. Women no midriff tops and shorts, cover your shoulders. Goes for men also .
The Lao are the most hospitable people I've met. I've had glasses of beer pressed into my hand and a couple of marriage proposals just walking through markets. Their Beerlao is one of the nicest beers on the planet. Give it a go. Food is spicy and absolutely delicious. The Lao love huge flavours. Try the national dish, laap. Also try green papaya salad (tam mak koung) or spicy cucumber salad (tam mak teung), with grilled chicken (ping gai)or grilled fish (ping pa) and sticky rice (khao niaow). Lao food is always best washed down with a cold Beerlao.
Check out the sunset over the Mekong in Vientiane, overlooking Thailand. Best enjoyed with a cold Beerlao.
Spend a long weekend or longer in Luang Prabang in the north. Gob smacking beautiful. While you're there, go to Kwang Si waterfalls and take a slow boat ride along the Mekong to Pak Ou caves.
Laos is much slower than Thailand and I think the people are friendlier. Laos is what Thailand used to be 30 or 40 years ago. The full name for Laos is Lao PDR, or for the tourists, Laos Please Don't Rush.
We had plans of returning in October 2020 for a month or so but Covid19 stopped that. I still get homesick when friends send me news from Laos.
There's an Australian guy living in Laos who has a RUclips channel. He does excellent vlogs on Laos. Check him out.

Other "exotic" fruits you should try out include: jack fruit or "ka-noon", very large fruit with bumpy green skin, normally only the yellow flesh is sold in packets or plastic bags. The seeds are very nutty and delicious boiled, also sometimes sold as street snack.
Rose apple or "chom-poo" comes in several varieties, the green and pink "chom-poo-pet" is probably the best, unless you can find the very rare "chom-poo ma-miew" variety
Salacca wallichiana known as "ra-gum" red with needley skin, unique flavour and smell that is an acquired taste, you might not like it first time you try, but keep trying you may find yourself eating piles of it.
Custard apple or "noi-na", sweet tamarind "ma-kam", but not the sour kind that's used to make pad thai sauce.
La-mood, long-gong, longan "lum yai",
A few that are not unique to the region include star fruit "ma-fuang", guava "farang" , jujube "put-sa"
Some are harder to find than others and are in season at different times. The best place to find premium quality fruits (at a price) of all kinds is the "or-tor-kor" market, near the huge and popular Chatuchak weekend market but or tor kor operates every day.
Funny story, once I thought I found durian but it turned out to be jackfruit and I bought it by mistake! hahah but I tried jackfruit in this video: ruclips.net/video/Sgd3eUH58_A/видео.html
I haven't heard of chom-poo! Custard apple sounds SO GOOD hahaha!!
Oh I also accidentally bought guava faring too, and the funny part about that is that I asked him what the fruit was and he kept saying faring and I thought he meant me and he kept calling me a farang hahah so I didn't know what it was, it was actually so funny, if you'd like to watch its at the end of this video: ruclips.net/video/jORHWuvyHis/видео.html
That one is funny! h hahah!
I'm going to write down all of the other fruit I haven't tried that you suggested and go on the hunt for them and see if I can find and try them!! Thank you!! 😊
I love all the fruits you mentioned above, but I can’t find them in Australia. Btw, very well explained! 👍 Can’t wait to go back home one day.😂
The moment i went 😮 when you bit into the outer casing of the mangosteen
Hahaha!! 5555 I’ll Never do that again! 😂😂
You went to Meaung Mai market! Wow.
You should get durian, Jack fruit and mangosteen!
It was really cool being in such a local market!! I love doing local things! Makes for such an amazing experience! Okay done! Look out for some more fruit!! 😂😂
Glad you like our fruits! I also think some fruit taste better when they're grown in right places.
Have you take Mangosteen's seed out? XD It's a little hard thing inside the white part. I usually not eat it but some ppl do.
The bendy mandarin thing you referred was Pomelo. Pomelo usually has weird bitter after-taste which I also dislike. Their taste depend on species I believed, some sweet, some sour.
Rambutan is completely different from Lychee, the shell is the most obvious different. Lychee has a pink rough skin, no hair. While Rambutans are red and hairy. Their taste and smells are also very different but it might be hard to differentiate if you had tried only the processed version of them. (I like that every time you mention it as lychee the bell ding and say "It's a rambutan" lol)
Watermelon is my all-time fav :) They're very refreshing!
Oh no I didn’t know mangosteen had a seed in it I just ate the whole thing HAHAHA!!
I wish I had a sweet pomelo! I didn’t like the sour!
Hahaha yes I was told after it was a rambutan and then realised how many times I said it was a lychee when it wasn’t HAHA!
Watermelon here is so much nicer than at home too! Thank you for watching and commenting!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻😁😁
@@josieliftsthings If you still wanna give Pomelo a try, then go to super market like Tops and ask the employee to choose the one that sweet for you(It will be more expensive but you’re almost guarantee to get what you want). Or if you wanna buy it from market, then go for Pink Pomelo, I’ve heard they’re sweeter. I’m not sure about how their shell looks like but the edible part inside is very pink.
I understand you well about your feeling with watermelon because I’ve had a mangoes before in Europe and it doesn’t taste as good as the one grown in tropical country. 😂
You may try canned Rambutan in convenience store and add ice to feel fresh☺️
Hahah I didn’t know they were in there!! Wow! 😂😍
We also have a rambutan with pineapple, longan and lychee and tropical mixed fruits. I love to eat all these canned fruits with some ice cubes in the hot day. It's so refreshing and yum.
It's time to GO THE DISTANCE here the philippines. Have fun
My auntie who lives in sydney posted a photo the other day showing mangosteens (at coles/woolies) which cost like $3-4 PER FRUIT. You better enjoy them while your here. Tis the season for it! And you might wanna try mangosteen juice too, available at most supermarkets.

The banana you eat is a wonderful fruit.
Thai people often let their children eat it because it is very useful.
It contains vitamins B1-2 and 6. and also have the same amount of vitamin C
There are 3 types of natural sugars: sucrose, fructose and glucose, as well as fiber and pulp.
One banana can provide up to 100 calories.
Bananas help relieve a sore throat. Take 5-6 results a day to help reduce irritation.
Banana also helps to suppress bad breath. The method is to eat banana after waking up immediately. then brush your teeth It will help reduce bad breath a lot.
Bananas can also treat gastritis. Because bananas contain a lot of tannins. This can help treat mild diarrhea.
Banana can cure constipation, it can cure diarrhea or diarrhea.
Two years ago, a woman came to the police station to report her husband's arrest.
because her husband asked to have sex 5 times a day
The cause is from eating bananas...
Another thing I would like to tell you is that People who regularly eat Kluai Nam Wa instead of dessert. often have a long life and has very good eyesight
You don't have to worry at all. if you eat it regularly Your age will be 80 years old for sure.

I am Thai , for us mangosteen is the queen We love this in general. And has a lot of antioxidants
The queen of fruits I think is better than the king of fruits! 😂🙏🏻
lol , i am not a durian person either
Choosing to eat various fruits that you buy and eat. If you put dragon fruit, watermelon in the refrigerator, it will be very delicious. Because of the juicyness of dragon fruit juice and watermelon, helping to extinguish the heat of the air. The mangosteen is the queen of Thailand. It is a fruit that helps to cure the heat in Even if you eat too much durian and choosing to eat durian Thai people will choose a crispy outside and soft inside. because it won't have a strong smell the taste will be delicious not too sweet But if you choose a very soft one, it will have a strong smell that people say stink, something like that... yes 😁😁😁
Haha thank you so much!!’ Mangosteen the queen of fruit is my favourite fruit! I don’t think I like durian so much but the mangosteen is the best!! 😁😁 thank you for watching! 🙏🏻😁😁
I am totally random passing your channel and I love you now 😂
HAHA thank you!!! 😂😂😂 welcome to my channel! 😂😁🙏🏻☺️
Next you need to try NOI NA and KA NOON.
Noi Na is a green with crocodile shell but when you find the milky color meat onside IT IS SO YUMMY!
Kanoon is the yellow with crunchy and scented meat. For diet, you cam eat them as substitute for snacks because of its crunchiness. You can peel it to put in Thai iced desserts such as icecream, iced coconut milk desserts like Red Ruby coconut milk.
Crocodile shell! 😳😳😳 haha WHAT!
Okay these sound interesting I’ll have to find them! Haha
Rambutan has a sweet flavor and will be very tasty if it has a crispy texture. It's my favorite fruit. If the king of fruits is durian, that is the queen ! mangosteen. Always enjoy with you haha. There are many types of grapefruit that you think are like mandarins, some are crisp, some are sweet and deliciousใ
I like the queen of fruits better than the king of fruits!! 😂 I love mangosteen the most but the pomelo was sour! hahaha hopefully I get a sweet one!! haha
I’m glad that you enjoy the Thai fruits, I like your reaction when eating, It’s cute🥰 hehe. My favorite fruits are the king and also the queen 😁😁.
Anyway, would you do or add some contents to compare the cost of food or drink that you have in Thailand and your hometown, the food shall be similar like a hamburger, a dish of the westerner food, a can of cola or something like that. We also are foreigner for your country that would like to open our eyes 👀.
Haha thank you so much for watching!! I don’t like the king of fruits so much but I like mangosteen the queen! Hahah
That’s also true!! Good point! I’d definitely mention in some vlogs maybe how much things would cost at home as well as here in the future I can do that! I can tell you it’s MUCH more expensive for a lot of things! Haha for example while I’m here, a plate of pad Thai is what, 40 baht? Maybe 60… that’s around $1.60 at home… one dish of pad Thai at home in Australia (has to be from a restaurant because we don’t have street food) would be around $17-25 depending where you go. That’s 400-600 baht!!! For one pad Thai!! AND it’s even nicer here 😂😂😂
@@josieliftsthings Your welcome, I look forward to watching your channel grow up.👍🏽👍🏽
you saying '' kob khun jeaw '' is so cute.
😂😂😂 thank you! I’m learning!
Haha happy watching you eat Thai fruits
They're so good!!
U can open mangosteen skin by not using knife just cracked it from bottom part it will break easily, the mandarin one is pomelo, rambutan u could find easily taste with no seed in7eleven they mostly came in canned fruit alone itself in syrup or even stuff pineapple cone in middle of rambutan hole they all delicious✌️🤤
😂😂😂 I didn’t know to crack it open! I’ll do that next time they were so good. I’ll get another 3 kilos 😂
I have to try the canned rambutan! 😂
I once found mangosteen in queen victoria market, melbourne. They looks a lot smaller than mangosteen in thailand. It is a domestic product, so i think different land gives different result. I had not tried it, but if you could find them maybe you can review its taste compare to the one you had in thailand. 😄
Oh I would LOVE to do that video! Comparing Australian Mangosteen and the fruits in Australia compared to what they tasted like in Thailand… but hopefully I don’t have to go home for a very long time! 😂😂😁😁🙏🏻
Wow great video welcome to Thailand I'm from Thailand in northeast Chaiyaphum Province
you make me surprise that you've eaten mangosteen peel, OMG! I understand that you have not eaten before, Your VDO make me happy that you like Thai Fruit bcaz I'm Thai, hope you enjoy everything in Thailand.
Hahah I’m so happy it made you happy!! I love trying new things in Thailand. Thank you for watching! 😁😁🙏🏻
Fantastic Thumbnail!!
Yay thank you I was so proud of this one 🥹😂💖
I personally believe that fruits and vegetables grow their without any pesticides or anything. It's like getting fresh seafood straight from the ocean. Your getting it straight from the garden so to speak. At its freshest point because as soon as you harvest anything its a race against time. Which affects the freshness and taste. Just my opinion and you are hilarious 😂
I agree!! And it’s so warm and nice growing conditions here the fruit just must be more fresh and nice here!! 😂😂
I love red Somoh (Pomelo), and Mayonchit.
Warm greetings from Indonesia
Thanks Sista for sharing delicious Thai Fruits
Wish you always healthy and happy
God bless you and family
Thank you for watching from Indonesia! Can’t wait to visit one day! 🙏🏻😁😁
Nice experiences isn’t it? I love watching people enjoy good tropical fruit, but there are lots more for you to try in Thailand
Yeah I’ve never seen these fruits!! I love that i’m 26 and learning new things and seeing new foods I haven’t ever seen before!! Which do you suggest I try?? I think someone else told me to try longan I think it’s called? Longang or something hahah!!
Longan season already pass, you may not getting good one with good price, by the way i had the same feeling when i was first in Australia and NZ. I had a very good time in both countries, i spent almost 5 years in each countries, enjoyed with good experiences.
Mangosteen = Queen of Fruit
I like the queen of fruit better than the king of fruit!! 😂😂
You guys are so cute we will support you from Thailand
Thank you so much! 😁😁🙏🏻
Thailand thank you 😁🙏🙏
This exactly! Thank you! We don't have these in my country or if we do we don't grow up eating them at all. I'm sure there are weird or strange things in Australia for everyone here as well! Thank you for watching and understanding 🙏 😊 😃
The name Rambutan came from the sanskrit language. It is a gift from the goddess. I remembered that I had to eat as many as possible while I was in the region coz the Western world doesn't have such a fruit. There'r many exotic fruits grown naturally in abundance in the south east Asian region coz the soil is very fertile; thus, people don't have to worry about having money to buy them - (back in the old days.)
Hahaha no we don’t have that one!! Never seen the hairy thing before 😂😂😂 I love mangosteen though! Favourite one!
You cut and twist open mangosteen like avocado. Except the center is its pulps :-)
I wish I knew to twist! Much easier 😂😂
Welcome to Thailand, hope you enjoy on your trip in our country. We have so many fruits, some of them we can find only their seasons only. So come back every season :)
I LOVE Thai fruits! Haha thank you for watching 😁🙏🏻
Thailand is a friendly country, Thai sounds very interesting
Thailand is SO nice!! I love it. Thank you for watching!! 😁😁🙏🏻
Good evening, you are Thailand now. There are so many fruit seasons to choose from that you guys don't know what to buy and what to eat 🤟💖😂
I’ve never seen this many fruit I don’t know before and I love it! 😂😂😂
@@josieliftsthings When I see you eating, my saliva flows with me 🤣🤣🤣
The first one u try ,it call mangosteen,Normally we don't eat mangosteen peel , mangosteen meat only that we eat,it call queen of fruit .
😂😂😂 I won’t eat the peel again trust me! 😂 it was so nice inside
@@josieliftsthings agree,next time don't try this at home,haha
8:19 when I saw Josie eating mangosteen peel 😢 , I ... 5555, she's so cute. น่ารักมากค่ะ 😂💕💕
😂 😂 Thank you!! 😂
I love Thai fruits and more yummy when after in refrigurator atleast 1 hour, so fresh.
I got another kilo of Mangosteen and ate it from the fridge it was so good!!
Lmao the way you ate the skin 😅
😂😂😂 HAHAHA 55555 I made a mistake 😂😂
I like to eat rambutan and canned rambutan. Very delicious. you must try. ☺️😜🥭🥝🍍🍒🍇🤤🥴😳
Everyone is telling me to find canned rambutan!! Do I get it from a local seller or the shops??
@@josieliftsthings You can buy it at every department store.nah 😁😀
If you are wondering what this fruit is or how to eat it. You can ask the seller how to eat it. He will always recommend easy and correct ways to eat for you. There are many more Thai fruits and they vary depending on the season. Have fun exploring delicious food in Thailand.
Hi Josie, when I lived in Sydney and I tried to find this hairy rambutan and I found it in Thai town on Campell St., and it costs A1$ each and it was not as fresh as in Thailand. Love you like our Thai fruits.
$1 EACH!!!! Haha noo im staying in Thailand forever!!! Haha thank you for watching! 🙏🏻🙏🏻😁
When you buy mangosteens, you should actually pick the small young ones. Unlike other fruits, if mangosteen are bigger and older, they start to form inedible seed. The younger ones do not have seeds that are formed yet so you can eat the entire white flesh. I remembered having to spit out the seeds because I always picked the biggest ones.
Hahah I think that’s what I did! But I still ate the seeds I didn’t know or realise there was a seed inside 🤔🤔😂😂😂
Mangosteen seed is edible and chewy, but never chew other fruit seeds since they could be bitter.
I totally agree with you about the pineapple, watermelon, & bananas. I never liked pineapple until I had it in Thailand. Most fruits are so much better in Thailand! Pomellos (the one you said was like a sour mandarin) are very similar in taste to grapefruit, just with a different texture. There are some tricks to open the mangosteen and rambutan by hand but it takes some practice. You had me laughing so hard every time the "It's rambutan" popped up!
Right!! I knew I liked pineapple and watermelon so when we got here I didn't rush to get them because I thought I knew what they tasted like, but I did not know!! haha they are SO much better here! It's like 50x better! haha.
The pomelo was a little too sour for me but I heard they can sometimes be sweet so I;ll try and get a sweet one! hahah.
I heard you can squeeze them now or something but I wish I knew that! 😂 haha, I can't believe how many times I said I thought it was the completely wrong fruit hahah! Thank you so much for watching!!
@@josieliftsthings Thai fruits are also in abundance in PH.
The first one is my favorite fruit. It calls rambutan 🥰 I followed you from Tiktok.
My favourite fruit now too! YAY thank you for coming from Tik Tok! Woo R Y U! 😁😁😁 🎉 🎊
8:20 You had me screaming 'no....!!!' all the way from Canada... haha.
Oh it was so gross hahaha I'll never eat that again! 😂 Thank you for watching 😊 🙏 😀
คุณทั้ง 2 เริ่มพูดภาษาไทยเก่งมากขึ้นครับ👍👍👍👍👍👍😁😁😁😁😁
Haha thank you for noticing! We’re trying to learn! 😁😁🙏🏻
What rambutan looks so weird 😂😂 I want to try it!
Right! 😂😂
Hi Jessica the mangosteen is Queen of mangosteen look delicious
Not mandarin it is Pomelo
@@user-sh7wr1ed9t I love how it looks!
There are many kinds of banana, and the way of serving it is also varied. There are bananas best for deeply fried, boiled, grilled, and trust me there also bananas best eaten young when they are cooked with coconut (gulai / curry like sauce).
I love bananas 🍌 😂😂😁
The banana I think they are called sugar banana. Pomelo is supposed to have both sweet and sour taste. Putting ranbutan (peeled) in a fridge before eating makes it tastes better. Also canned rambutan in syrup is quite nice too. 😊
You will see many familiar fruits like these when you travel to other countries in SEA.
That explains why it was so sweet!! 😂😂 thank you! I think I got a sour pomelo 😂😂
I’m excited to see these in many places before I go home and we don’t have them! Haha, thank you for watching!! 🙏🏻😁
your"mandarin" us called pomelo an oversized mandarin
Ahhhhh I’ve never heard of a pomelo before!! Thank you!
When mangosteen ripen, the skin becomes dark purple.
Dark purple!! I'll have to get the dark purple ones next time! haha thank you!!! 🙏 😂
@@josieliftsthings The one that has the brown marks or streaks on it’s dark purple skin will be the sweet one. Try to choose like this next time.
Hi guys, laughed at the look on your face when you tried to eat the skin of the mangosteen , Dragon fruit is my fav and there is a red flesh dragon fruit which I like the best, better than the white flesh one see if you can try the red flesh dragon fruit, I know you can get it in Thai like supermarkets already peeled, I will be looking for that as soon as my feet hit the ground in Bangkok come October. Have a great day
😂😂😂 ME TOO! I can’t believe I ate that but you eat the skin of some fruit so I didn’t know! It isn’t nice at all 😂😂😂
Ohhh I think I’d like the red one better, I’m going to go on the hunt for some now! Thank you! And I’m excited for you to come here in October!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻😁😁
Oh girl , you ate a mangosteen skin lol, so cute.
There’re mangosteen ,dragon fruit sells at some Coles and Aldi though but super expensive!
Hahah I didn’t know you shouldn’t eat it! It wasn’t nice 😂 I haven’t seen dragonfruit like that at home! I must’ve missed the season, and I like that it was 25 Baht here! 😂
@@josieliftsthings Dragonfruit, Mangosteen cost 5 AUD each in Aus which is ridiculous price compared to Thailand but yeah it’s understandable though bc they’re imported.
Now you know what it is. Next time you should try to eat fruits with less sugar first so its won't ruin your taste buds.
Haha good idea!!! I wish I knew what they were like before I tried them to know!!
The hairy fruit is rambutan.
It tastes just like a lychee! 😂😂😂
I am sorry but honestly you got me laugh when you ate the cover of mangosteen. Hahaha Great video!
Hahaha don't worry, me too! 55555 I wish I knew not to eat that it was horrible! haha. Thank you so much for enjoying it! 🙏 😃
So cute. Try cutting the dragon fruit.😁
👍👍👍👍👍👍😁😁😁😁😁😁💝💝💝💝💝💝💝 ขอให้อร่อยๆนะครับ
