GETTING EATEN BY FISH at Erawan Falls in Thailand! 🇹🇭

- In this video, we check out of our Bubble Dome Hotel in Kanchanaburi, and drive out of Sai Yok to visit Erawan Falls in Erawan National Park!
This part of Kanchanaburi Province is amazing for a road trip, as we passed by Thathungna Dam, Wat Mo Thao, Srinagrind Dam, and the floating hotels and resorts on the River Khwae Yai.
We then have to race back to Kanchanaburi - almost missing our train! To get ourselves back to Bangkok in time for a late-night flight home to Chiang Mai - a very hectic day of travel, sun, and adventure!

It was SO worth it, even though it was the hottest weather I’ve ever been in and I’m burnt to a crisp 😂😂 it was amazing for swimming and drying off really fast 😂 thank you for watching! 🙏🏻🙏🏻😁
At one time I got a chance to stay in a temple near the border of Kanchanaburi next to Myanmar wherein a stream from a waterfall passes through. The area is so far from any tourist spot and very isolated. As soon as I steeped my legs into the stream, little fishes came and nibbled my skin, very tickling but fun. I was surprised because I thought this behavior of the fish is present only in crowded tourism locations while that place was actually very private

April is the peak of summer in Thailand. You should avoid going out in the sun for an extended period of time during mid day and try to stay under the shade, otherwise you could get burned as you did and may get sick because of high heat.
Hope the bad experience you had will be more than made up by great time from now on. Please stay healthy and hope you have great time ahead!

The weather in Thailand for swimming is AMAZING! I love it here!
so true about traveling tho We have just got back from Fiji and while the accomodation and everything weren't too bad but I do agree with you it could have been better for the price. Bare in mind tho that Fiji just opened up for tourists and they are still getting back to the swing of things. I also think the price of travelling has increased especially after the pandemic which in a way is understandable.
Wow I'd honestly love to go to Fiji one day, my cousins went once when we were younger and had the best time hahah. I think it was worth the price, if we were physically able to stay in the bubble where we paid to stay, but because the room that we COULD stay in, was.. very poor haha, that's when I was like.. hold on we didn't pay all that money for this room?? But you're right we do give extra where we can and not mind a few larger prices because they have had it tough without tourism. I think it just hurts because now I'm down all of that money... and I still haven't stayed in a bubble 😂 But its okay! Onwards and upwards 😂

Try to buy new clothes made of 100% cotton and with long sleeves to prevent sunburn. Rayon fabric is even better as it does have cooling effect on the body. I do get sunburn easily so I always wear clothes with long sleeves and long dresses to cover the whole body.

@@josieliftsthings The natives wear traditional sarong, batik clothes; and in Philippines, they natives wear mostly rayon dresses. I always follow the natives on how to survive in such a equatorial climate. The local government are not initiating trees planting to provide shades, thus giving the environment a cooling effect.
