Our group is going to KAT1 and KAT2 last weekend in March. Love to have some spots to make sure to see based on your trip. Looks beautiful and like it was a great time.
we were supposed to do the 2 YEARS TO FLATTEN THE CURVE trip at KAT.. but that weather forcast was too severe for us to run trails we didnt know with people who didnt have a bunch of snow wheeling experiance...Thanks for coming up our way!!
Can't wait for some wheeling in the south east. Moving to Arkansas witjin the next year or so bidding utah farewell. Going to miss the red rock's. We are just hoping it's as much fun out there as you make it look.
Thats awesome to see a Tundra on trail. I have one I don't think I would hit trails with it. Now my Tacoma oh yes plus some. I have the fever so bad, watching these video just makes me itch more and more. I can cook yall some good cajun gumbo. Been told it's on fire many times. Awesome video. 👍👍
D and I are chilling out up on Lookout Mountain and this bud drops! You are a master story teller, dude. Another great video and I love how you are building suspense for the next video. Well, right now it’s a love/hate kinda thing. 😬 Waiting on the snow…and thanks for taking us along.
Another very fun video. Your videos truly show how this all should be done. Always respectful. Land rover makes a hell of a traction control system in the D2s 👍 As an owner myself, its always fun to see one represent. 😊 Respectfully, not sure Brad is ready to lead others at this point. In time I'm sure.
“Little brown sugar in your hot cocoa, it will change your life.” Yeah, diabetes! 😂 all in good fun, I would 100% try it, especially the cinnamon sugar. Great videos, I’m trying to plan a trip on the KAT right now.
Did you switch your magnetic anchors on the moodshade to a different style. Didn't look like you slid the pole in anywhere, looks like you snapped it in?
Hi I’m kinda new abound here but I just remembered an app I had downloaded, it’s called “what3words”. It’s basically “maps” but it helps you narrow down your search spot to an exact 10’x10’ square
Damn I know exactly where you were when you hit that guardrail... I found that trail in 2000 and have always wanted to go back and drive it... Last time I drove that part of KAT thru BSF I camped at that campsite right on the other side of that guardrail sulking because I thought about that trail for the last 20yrs and here I was with a guardrail telling me no... I wish I woulda met up with you guys.. If you ever come back to KY I wanna hang out!
Great video and a nice lineup of rigs y’all have there! When y’all got to the “gate”, did the MVUM confirm a closed trail or were y’all just being extra cautious? I’m not familiar with trail etiquette.
I can never tell from the footage which tires are on those rigs. Could you share what tires everyone's running? I need new tires for my 4runner for the KY and TN terrain.
Great video Matt. Curious what layers and their order you used on Gaia for this trail. How different is it from what you use back home? Thanks for the insight!
Hey Matt, question for you. April 21-24th my friends and I are doing a short trip overlanding. We are thinking the UP but not sure how the weather will be. We will have two chevy 1500s on 33s so don't want to get into crazy mud. How do you think the Ozarks will be during the end of April?
I can tell you what happened because I was there. We went on a motorcycle trip the day you where riding and it was in the 60's. We here laughing because they said it was going to snow. We should have not laughed because it did what they said and a lot more. Yikes.
I respect that you were being polite, but those new Tundras … simply not appealing to say the least. Such an “odd” exterior design. Jeeps are always looking good & that D90 is cool too! 👍🏻🇺🇸🇬🇧
Bro, instead of filming yourelf talking on the camera inside your JT on the way to the trails. Film more on the trails and how each vehicle drive on the trails. I mean every single one of them. You really want to edit out most of the driving between trails. Instead focus more on how each vehicle performed on the trails, explain bit about their tyres and suspension system. Don't edit the recovering parts because those are more interesting to watch than filming yourself and talking while driving between trails. Film more at the camps, how people are enjoying the camp fire etc.. I'm only sharing my humble opinion, alright. After all it's your channel you film what you like, but it gets boring okay. No offense.
That’s White Oak Creek at the end of the O&W road in The Big South Fork RRA, just west of Oneida, TN.
Hey, I know that guy!
It was great hanging out with you all.
So glad you got to join us. See you in 2 weeks.
Great meeting you.
So weird... I filmed a video of this section going the opposite direction a month ago.. I stopped at all these same stops! I am enjoying your POV.
Thanks!!

Nice mix of vehicles.
Very scenic trails and roads
It makes me feel better seeing the dodge truck make at 24:46, I drive single cab short wheel base on 33", also have a winch
Kentucky is so pretty. Great video
damn that gladiator can flex
I love it!!!
Looks like another fantastic day on the trail!

Great video thanks for taking us along. I sure wish one of you would do a little fishing those are beautiful rivers.
The KAT is awesome. I need to get down there and hit up more of it! Great video buddy!
Love seeing you in this area, you’re one county west of where I live. Also love hearing everyone say how pretty the area is.
Beautiful video Matt. Loved seeing all the different scenery that you take us too. Can’t wait to see what’s in the next one
Thanks 👍
It's nice doing the eastern mountain trails off season so you can see through the foliage to the vistas beyond.
Winter is my favorite time to wheel because of that.

Vid…not bud…
Thanks so much!!!
That was great. Thanks for that. So relaxing to watch.
That red yota would greatly benefit from some lockers. I’m sure the driver knows now haha 😆
Love the KAT. really surprises ppl when I show up in a liberty
love the look on those old defenders
I really enjoyed your video. 🤩⭐️
Thanks for Sharing! 👍🏼
Greetings from Albania. 🇦🇱
Thank you very much!
10 points for Roberts fall! Lol.
Great video as always!!!
Was surprised to see Revere Overland...subscribed to both of you guys👍🏾
Thanks!!
Good video. That's some pretty places 👌
Where was the trail at 20:55 sec on the video, I should be going on a trip in a couple weeks

Nope. Those are the ones that come with it. I jumped the editing around so you just didn't see that part.
Cinnamon Sugar on your french toast will change your life my friend!

Awesome video. Gotta get rob on the OOAT!
I’m not sure his new Tundra would enjoy it. 😂
@@OzarkOverlandAdventures would definitely have some battle scars!

The guardrail made me cry.
WOAH I had to double take when Rob came on -- when worlds collide!
😂😂
That arch is like the plymithrock. You think it's some big bolder and it turns out to be a little ol rock. I was kinda disappointed when I saw it.
We laughed so hard. 😂
Do you by chance have GPS waypoints for some of those cool finds for this trip?
Can you share the coordinates for that spot by the water that you were at in the beginning of the video?

I’m running Milestar Patagonia MTs on the Gladiator. The two Wranglers have BFG KM3s. I’m not sure what the others are running.
Discovery has Toyo MT and the Defender has Falken Wildpeak AT
@@OzarkOverlandAdventures Thank you!
@@bricenoonan7193 Thank you!

Was that water crossing legally blocked?… I definitely would’ve checked that…
Yes it was. Sadly.
I'm building up a similar Gladiator but always wonder how heavy these rigs are with the racks, tent, fridge, etc. Have you taken it to a scale?
I know you love your rubicon and you have done rock stuff. But it seems like you do alot more trails, do you ever wish you would've got the mojave?
Never!!! Lol. I love the front locker, disconnects and the low range transfer case.
@@OzarkOverlandAdventures thank you for answering, great videos. Keep up the adventures!

Very high water and deep mud
I cant find this on the map.roads ,towns?
There’s a website devoted to it with the full route available.
Gaaahhh! Cliff Hanger!
Didn't see it wasn't a dodge but still a full size truck
Do you do anything special to protect the diesel heater in the rain?
I put it under the tent or awning to protect it some.
Use the claw of a hammer to remove the Dutch oven lid, much easier
Matt, that sure was an awful big clump of brown sugar in your hot chocolate 🤣🤣🤣
It was real good!! 😂
Any chance you could share that spot with me. We are heading that way tomorrow 8/19/22. Thanks
Where did y'all start and finish?
In this video or the whole trip?

Are you sure that’s the correct website? I tried it and it came up as a RV rental.
For www.goxplorusa.com?

I remember when Overlanding was called camping.
Me too.
However while overlanding includes camping, camping does not include overlanding.
@@OzarkOverlandAdventures that’s true, there is a difference between the two.
Talk about a cliffhanger!
Come back Friday for the next one. LOL
wanted to see what it looked like in the morning. :(

sweet coffee? sugar in coffee? Americans...go figure...
