I’ve had to do this with RC crawlers and THATS a pain. I can’t even imagine how much harder it is with full sized trucks.

You and Kara are hilarious! We just love your Gladiator! It has to be one of the best builds ever! We just got out very first Jeep yesterday! 2023 White Gladiator Rubicon! I love seeing those old Jeep cherokees reminds me of my first vihical. I only had a 3 inch lift with 31's but it took me alot of places. Best memories!

Loving the old Defender - it just looks “right”!! Those Full Size American Pickup Trucks seem too large for narrow trails - they tear up the trails.
Considering the amount of wheel speed and spinning of tires on the defender I'm not sure the larger F150s are doing any more damage to the trails. LOL
Two Cherokees and a Defender, doesn't get any better then that! Best episode yet! Hee hee

I like how your channel consists of more of the average persons off road. I feel we need more youtubers that do the bone stock average vehicles.
For example, i love to do the offroad trailing adventure exploring thing. But all i have is my 07 mega cab ram, so I can't really do as much as you guys can. Maybe in time i can get a side by side or maybe talk the wife into the power wagon lol.

Like my old 1985 VW Vanagon, those Defenders can be rough but fun! My Gladiator is certainly more refined and fun in different ways, but the Vanagon made lots of great memories. I love seeing these trips and makes me want to explore flyover country (I'm in San Diego) for a different experience. Thanks for these reminders. You'll get to 100K, just keep doing what you're doing.

This is my favorite part of KAT so far. I haven’t done it all yet but have been here a couple time now. Pretty close to home! Thank you for cleaning it up……. Wish everyone would respect the trails, they will wish they had if they close it someday!!!

Wish I had known you would be in big south fork. It is only around an hour from my house here in east tennessee. I would of dropped by.
Wow, congrats she looks great, I need to drop a few pounds myself but don't have the discipline. Actually after my shoulder surgery I gained about 10-12 pounds that I just cant get rid of 😩. My shoulder is probably 30% after surgery and it really does effect my workouts. I refuse to change my eating habits that were ok when I could work out properly but now It is effecting me. She is an inspiration keep it up, never give up, I wont.

Awesome place. very similar to the areas of the allegheny mountains I travel in north central PA. Having never travelled in a pack, it makes me think of the practical things to consider like bathroom breaks when you are in a long line of vehicles, how does that dance work in these instances. I'm used to just being with my wife and dog Rosie. thanks for the great vid!

I have been a subscriber for a couple of yrs. And I have been unsubscribed to your Channel and a few other channels 3 times in the past 6 months. I have also noticed that in the past 6 months that if you look in your subscription buttons and look up the channel it tells you that your subscribed but I have too look for the new videos every time one comes out. And it says that I’m not subscribed in the newest videos. So I thought I would bring this to your attention.

What sections did you run? I shot a video on the Main 4 section about a year a half ago, and had an absolute blast. Knocking out more of the KAT is definitely on my to-do list!

Sorry Cara, classic does not equal refined... Landrovers are many things, including quite possibly the best overland vehicles ever made (especially the classic defender 110), but they are NOT refined.
Definitely not refined, and definitely not the best overland vehicles ever made, at least with regard to off-road ability. Two other vehicles with better off-road capability immediately come to mind.
I plan on getting a jeep wrangler unlimited rubicon jl and I know that I will need some help getting the jeep ready for overlanding and i plan on living in Springfield Missouri. I am a truck driver

Are there enough petrol stations to stay fueled up on this trail when the pavement sections hit?
Yes. Not a problem.
What is the accepted badge etiquette? Is one expected to complete the entire trail (i.e. 1,000 miles of the KAT) before displaying the badge? Or is it ok to display if having only completed a segment or two? Love the channel!!
There's not a badge etiquette. I don't think anyone cares. It's your adventure and your story.
Displaying the badge in more about showing your support for the route. As money raised goes to maintaining the roads. These are not trail but actual county roads.

Sorry folks, no matter what model it is , there is no substitute for a Jeep . Even if the model you have doesnt have lockers ya still have Brake lock diffs and can climb most anything..👍
Moral of the story is F150's are too damn big.
I'm gonna have to come out and do that trail.
