Have watched hundreds of off roading/overlanding videos. This is the first one that I’ve seen where the group stopped to clean up trash. This warmed my heart and got a subscribed out of me ❤ Awesome video!!
Matt! Excellent work on your videos man! They keep getting better and better. You should do some more drone work because those snow scenes were surreal! Thinking of starting a channel modeled after yours since you do such a good job with filming! Keep up the great work man!
I live in good old Kentucky , your adventure is the best I have seen yet , absolutely awesome . I love that little Defender , I have a Gladiator Sport S , and just learning this Jeep thing . You guys know how to live , and you love the land cleaning as you went , respect . Best adventure yet . Thank you greatly , and cheers .
Always love your videos and I know this is an older one but wanted to say thank you to the group for helping clean up someone else's trash. I get so frustrated seeing this in so many of the wild places. Its not that hard for someone to pack out their own trash and it's hurting all of us that want to be able to explore.
Great and very beautiful video as always. Nice to see the 2 land rovers holding their own with the jeeps 🚙. I say that because I'm from the UK 🇬🇧 and drive a classic defender 110. Lol Thanks for the film making and appreciate its hard work.
I always learn something watching your videos. I really enjoy all your content but this might be my favorite video yet. I’ve lived in KY and VA my entire life and never done this trail but you’ve inspired me to do it. I’d love to join you on your next leg of this trip!
Loved this video! The combination of scenic touring and technical off-road trail driving made for a winning combination. I also learned all about the KAT which I heretofore knew nothing about. As someone who lives out West, I’m amazed by how cool the overlanding is back East. Would love to get there sometime. Thanks for all of your hard work in putting this together!👍
Best off road adventure I have ever watched I watched start to finish. Great job I had anxiety just watching it. I liked it so much I had to subscribe to your chanel. THANKS AGAIN
Awesome job on the adventure and video. Looking forward to more of what you are producing and now looking forward to seeing my self on the KAT trail. Thanks
One thing is for sure... The Wranglers and the gladiators are probably some of the best at water... If you have a newer Rubicon based Jeep, your water forwarding height is basically the top of your tires... So if you're on 40s.... You're good for 40 inches... As long as you don't get carried away in 40 inches lol... My lifted Trailhawk is good for about 2 feet. I probably wouldn't want to do it though! If you ever head out to Talladega national Forest in Alabama, It would be cool to tag along! This video that you have here is a great test of your vehicle all the way around. It's a little bit of everything. Really pushing the tires and the traction.
Love your videos Matt! You guys gonna some amazing adventures. And the trashed camp site made me mad, too. Thank you guys for cleaning it up and you’re right, humans disgust me sometimes.
Omg finally another hour long video. Love these long runs and I can't wait to get out on the tril myself and would love to overland in a party with you.
I am very impressed on how you guide people through the technical areas! One of these days I would love to hear you guide me and my vehicle thru medium trails! I just need something better than my 1 wheel drive Dakota.
Totally on our bucket list! Great job with the video Matt. hopefully we'll get to meet you guys at the Moore Expo this year. The wife and I got a camping spot out there and are super excited to check it out.
This looks so frickin fun!!! I seen this video seen it was almost two hours long and was like maaaaaan this better not suck. It did not suck. Such a cool experience. Not sure where this is at but this needs to be every where lol
I’ve had 5 Toyota and 1 jeep. That should say something. I do agree Jeeps are more capable off-road if you’re a crawler type. I love my FJ and my Taco TRD Off-Road. Enjoy what works for ya. Great Topic
I feel like I should know this spot right after the O&W bridge area didn't work out, but I can't place where it's at. Guess I need to get back up there and look around.
Cool ... especially the old Defender. Love those old defenders .... was thinking of getting an Ineos Grenadier cause it looks so much like the old Defender. Think will be quite capable but figured it wasn't as rock capable as I would like .. Jeep Rubicon X now on order. Curious about the Defender and the size of their tires?
Just curious about some technical aspects. What size tires on the defenders and the Tacoma? I saw the Jeeps crawling over some bigger rocks, but not them? Is the a bypass for lower vehicles?
Another great video. I like that you always point out the good parts and what was bad parts. Like the lack of campgrounds. That way people like me will know when we go there. See you at the MOORE EXPO. I already have my tickets! I may be looking for a new front bumper for my 2014 JKUX
Great video! One quick question, there is a Wrsngler JL that has a Rugged Ridge snorkel and hood lights. I have the same snorkel and I have been looking for a setup like this. What type of lights and brackets is the owner using? Thank you for your anticipated assistance! Regards from 🇨🇦!
There's tons of riding around the area you guys last camped! Not even counting the offroad park that you guys where like less than 10 miles from. Local to the area
Love your videos great job. I really would like to start overlanding and use my F250 and it has 46"s of tires to start what gear would be a good start for a truck my size?
The views out West are hard to beat for sure, but this was an awesome ride! Great video sir. I think there is still a lot around the Midwest you can do without needing to pay for filming.
I hoop to see somting of your new RUclips channel. And i love you very machs what you all do. Hoop to see you soon. Greeting from Belgium and my Georges.🤣🤣🥳🥳👍👍
There were sounds of metal grinding against rock. Were there any major damage to any of the vehicles that needed fixing or replacing??? I drive an f250 Tremor stock and wonder if I would have any trouble getting through.
@ozarkoverlandadventures On your blue rubicon gladiator what brand are the skid steps you’ve got attached to your stock rock sliders? Also brand of those blue traction boards? Thanks
I’d say great video - but it’s more like a film! Top work and good to see the Landies handling the terrain that they were built for 👍🏼 Louise and I both agree, which one handled the terrain the best… the Discovery… which one would we have… that dark grey Rubicon with the high-lift kit on. What a machine 😈 Thanks for the work you put in, have subscribed🙂
Looks like so much fun. All I have is a stock F150. I know there are a lot of stretches that I couldn’t do. I does a person find what areas I can go into what what places to go around?
Matt I want to tell you; I love these long format videos that you have been doing of the long trips.
Glad you like them!
Me too!
Me too!!!
Loved when you all stopped and cleaned up the area!!! Keeping nature beautiful. Stay safe in your travels!!!
Have watched hundreds of off roading/overlanding videos. This is the first one that I’ve seen where the group stopped to clean up trash. This warmed my heart and got a subscribed out of me ❤ Awesome video!!
There’s all kinds of videos of people doing that. The people that leave trash usually aren’t off road groups. We are the ones always out cleaning up.
The sun shines bright on my old Kentucky home.
One of my favorite nights in the hammock...waking up to 8 inches of snow...Awesome!
Not in a hammock but had that happen at the Hiawatha in Idaho about 15 yrs ago. Labor Day weekend early storm. 6” overnight.
Thank you for taking the time to clean up other people’s mess. Sometimes people really do suck.
Just watched your gladiator walk-around on trail recon. Big fan of the team up. Thanks for doing what u do!!

Great video. Kentucky is such a pretty state

I always rooted for the defender, although I feel it needed driver more than anything
Another epic movie!!!Blows away the trash in the theaters.Very good job Matt!!👍

Thank you for your time of editing and effort. It's so amazing. Such an epic adventure.
Min. 30:28 awesomeness
Min. 1:09 even better with some of the best drone footage I’ve ever seen 😮
Thank you!!
Love is in the air! Love your videos and the guys at Epic do some great stuff for this industry! It’s Epic!!!
Matt you are 1.5 hours from the Ozarks and I 1.5 hours from where you are. We are both so blessed.
This is very pretty for sure.. I love the background music and your narrating to keep us posted on what and where your at as you go along.
Thank you so much!
All great vehicles, but I'm especially impressed with the Defender. Makes it look so easy!
Thanks
Awesome, thank you!
I wish , i was with your crowd, this awesome 👌 THANKS for sharing 👍
Cool video and lots cooler for you guys good all terrain expo and nice to see two Landys on the channel .
One of my favorite east half trips you guys did!

Loving those land rover discos and Defenders out there
This old video is still a beautiful video.
At least they were actual offroad Rovers. We had to rescue a LR3 a few years ago in NV. All by himself and turtled in a boulder garden.
Awesome! Right on time as we’re currently planning a trip to Kentucky in our Jeep!
Very fun looking segment of Baja. Get vid amigos.
Congratulations on your respect for Nature.
OMG that snow 🌨️🌨️🌨️🌨️🌨️🌨️🌨️🌨️🌨️🌨️🌨️crazy beautiful😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
That old LandRover is a beast with it’s short wheel base and big tires. Plus the owner is from Mississippi. 👍
Man what an adventure! Outstanding job as always matt! That’s definitely getting added to my bucket list.
That was a great adventure! Thanks for bringing us along!
That was amazing, I cannot believe I just sat and watched that front to back. Great movie, I want to go on that this year
Thanks!!
An excellent ReEdit of last years KAT run.
Love your videos Matt! You guys gonna some amazing adventures.
And the trashed camp site made me mad, too. Thank you guys for cleaning it up and you’re right, humans disgust me sometimes.
Sad to see litter on such a nice trail. People need to respect the outdoors.
What an adventure Matt. Ordered my Moore tickets yesterday Thanks for the discount!!
Love this! Looks like a fantastic trip.
Omg finally another hour long video. Love these long runs and I can't wait to get out on the tril myself and would love to overland in a party with you.
Glad you like them!
Great information and production!
Such an awsome video, cant say enough about it. Kept me interested all the way. Thank you so much for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it!
amazing, watched entire video and I really enjoyed along your ride!!
Awesome, thank you!
I have been to that visitors center at bandy creek. Tons of trails up that way. Awesome area and only 2 and a half hours from nashville
We need to see a summer tour of this trail!!
Outstanding overland adventure… gracias
If you ever get to the eastern portion (Main 4), let me know. The views are great in that part, but the same issue with hard to find campsites.
That’s funny that I got the notification!! I’m watching the one from 2 yrs ago with Knuckles and the Great Pumpkin!!
I am very impressed on how you guide people through the technical areas! One of these days I would love to hear you guide me and my vehicle thru medium trails! I just need something better than my 1 wheel drive Dakota.
This was Awesome and Gorgeous! Sure made me miss my Jeep. Swapped it for a Tacoma. Blessings to you and Cara. I enjoyed the video.
great video! keep em coming! one of these years we will make it up to KOAR, and go exploring.
Great job with the drone ! Amazing videos
Thank you! 👍
Totally on our bucket list! Great job with the video Matt. hopefully we'll get to meet you guys at the Moore Expo this year. The wife and I got a camping spot out there and are super excited to check it out.
See you there!
Great video! Thanks. Hope the lead vehicle has installed lockers as he obviously need them.
This looks so frickin fun!!! I seen this video seen it was almost two hours long and was like maaaaaan this better not suck. It did not suck. Such a cool experience. Not sure where this is at but this needs to be every where lol
"Hard driver" would be an awesome idea for merch. I comment while the video goes along so there will be a few
From me on here. For the algorithm

Great video, I’ve always wanted to camp in the snow like that

Wow this looked like an awesome trip you guys went on. Had some funny moments too. I really enjoyed watching
Glad you enjoyed
Maravilloso video..overlands...saludos desde Chile...
What a great trip.
I've wheeled the western part of KY. Rough river area.
This is so sick!! I’m in the process of building out my 4Runner to be able to take on this trail hopefully by the fall
You were so concerned about that diaper you never considered the roadblock/ gate😂
Great adventure - great video!
I live in KY and have a stock Trail Boss. Want to learn and eventually build a Gladiator for retirement travel.
At 8:15 the spot you stopped and cleaned up ruined our trip. My brothers dog stepped on a piece of glass and severed an artery in her foot.
There's tons of riding around the area you guys last camped! Not even counting the offroad park that you guys where like less than 10 miles from. Local to the area
We will be back!
Love your videos great job. I really would like to start overlanding and use my F250 and it has 46"s of tires to start what gear would be a good start for a truck my size?
Nice adventure. A hug from Portugal
The views out West are hard to beat for sure, but this was an awesome ride! Great video sir. I think there is still a lot around the Midwest you can do without needing to pay for filming.
Was just in Kentucky last week, 4 parks in 5 days....
Is there a trail head where this starts??
We go once a year for a week vacation
Nice video I would love to test my disco 2 on a trail like that but here in blount county tn area can't find one close to me
I hoop to see somting of your new RUclips channel.
And i love you very machs what you all do.
Hoop to see you soon.
Greeting from Belgium and my Georges.🤣🤣🥳🥳👍👍
Thanks so much!!
Amazing 🥳🙌🏼💯I was on the edge of my seat! 😮😂🤙🏽beautiful drone footage 😍
Thank you 🙌
There were sounds of metal grinding against rock. Were there any major damage to any of the vehicles that needed fixing or replacing??? I drive an f250 Tremor stock and wonder if I would have any trouble getting through.
That's just skid plates and rock rails doing what they are supposed to do.
Sad when people trash nature. You guys are awesome for having cleaned up.
That state is so pretty
Awesome Matt...
Quite possibly the best video adventure on your channel so far I enjoyed every minute of it. I’m a little biased I do live in Kentucky 😅
Glad you enjoyed it!
@@OzarkOverlandAdventures I know your wife did that trail at red river gorge area and camped at Callies campground that’s where I go camping it a lot
@@troybuiltadventures5481 I need to get up to that area!!
@@OzarkOverlandAdventures i’m heading up there the first week of May to camp at Callies 👍 you should come and meet up
You’re in jellico. I have family there. There’s good fishing in the creek there.
@ozarkoverlandadventures On your blue rubicon gladiator what brand are the skid steps you’ve got attached to your stock rock sliders? Also brand of those blue traction boards? Thanks
Ace Engineering Rock Sliders and the big traction boards are Action Trax.
I think that guys maiden voyage for his Jeep was a success. Did he used to have a 4 runner?
He still has the 4Runner too.
I’d say great video - but it’s more like a film! Top work and good to see the Landies handling the terrain that they were built for 👍🏼
Louise and I both agree, which one handled the terrain the best… the Discovery… which one would we have… that dark grey Rubicon with the high-lift kit on. What a machine 😈

Yep. do what you can with what you have.
@@OzarkOverlandAdventures Wow I was tired when I wrote that this morning. Lol I’ll do some research and figure out a route.
I agree your presentation professional editing & filming is great...but I want your blue jeep !Glad?
Thanks so much!!
Welcome to KY.
