No problem! Just an FYI I’ve been through this part over a dozen times at this point. If you go in the spring the water can be much higher if it’s rained recently. Just something to be aware of.
There is, but it’s minimal. I’d recommend just setting up a base camp at one of the campgrounds in the area. Koomer Ride & Callie’s Lake & Campground are just a couple examples.
