Joss was a fan and cast them in his "Much Ado." He couldn't pay them, so he paid them back by being in a sketch. They met Fillion through that.

Sam Adams They met him at a live sketch show that he was doing with his sketch group. It was apparently the first time they'd done Britanick live, and they made friends in the green room. For their day jobs, they actually are the voices of Cartoon Network in ads and stuff. At least they were at some point, idk if they still are now, I don't watch Cartoon Network.

I've seen every show, movie, and comic Joss has ever done, and despite his success with The Adventures, I think me and only a select few of his fans/peeps will ever truly "get" his work.
And right next to all other Joss thangs, this BriTANick comedy sketch about poop and birds contains more awesome than a box of awe.

The sink probably did not expect to be involved in a sketch like this, they could have used a stunt sink but no. The sink knew that authenticity was a sign of great art and decided that this was its destiny. Here’s to the unsung heroes of sketch comedy.
