Just found your video. I loved listening to your voice. It is so relaxing. I hope to be stitching along with you next year. I am a life long crafter age 85. Oils, watercolour, paper crafting . I taught a cross stitch group for 20 years. I now have arthritis and had to five that up, but slow stitching has saved the day and we are never to old to learn something new. Every good wish to you 😊❤️🇬🇧
I have loved watching you and your projects, but joined too many this last year - so going to streamline my projects down to a crazy quilt that my Grandmother gave me, and maybe a gift or two. Will still watch and incorporate as much as I can into my projects.❤😊
I watched the delayed screening from NZ yesterday evening. I really admire you and your teaching style, you give me confidence to achieve what I believed was not possible. I really enjoy your videos and have recommended your channel to friends. I discovered slow stitching about 6 months ago and yes, I believe I am awakening the artist in me. Looking forward to 2025. Look after yourself and keep well and warm
Discovered your channel this April on maternity leave. I have just had so much joy watching your videos. I’m hoping this year I can join in if I can make some time & space from little hands. These videos are so good for mental health 🙏🏻
@@TITARNYA hi there. Congratulations on your new arrival. Make sure you keep something for you in all the business of motherhood. Keep topping up your reserves. If I can help inspire that, I am delighted. X
I have only been watching your videos so far, and haven't really joined in yet as I have been doing other weekly stitching. I was planning to focus on catching up with UFOs next year, but your Postcards from the Hedge sound so tempting! I was very impressed by all the lovely projects you did this year, so am looking forward to joining in come January. I think doing something through Ko-fi is a brilliant idea for you. You have given us lots of free inspiration and a few pounds a month is worth it for the huge amount of pleasure I get from joining in and helps me keep motivated.
You got to make a living, don't fear charging. I can't afford to support you that way but I can follow you on here, like and share. But I do understand you have to have an income, so I think being creative is the best way to earn an income... Happy Christmas and New Year.
Watching delayed screening from NZ. I'm looking forward to Winging It with you next year. I love your utube. I wish you a happy Christmas. We eat cold meats and salads here to celebrate summer. Blessings
Oh, I’m so bummed I missed this. I think it was because we had to do some power adjustments where I’m at they’re putting in new power polls. It wasn’t even able to remind me. I just so wanted to tell you that I am so glad I found your channel last year in February or March. It was a blessing and it came at the right time. Over the last almost 12 months you have given me the courage to get back into sewing and the confidence to learn to embroider, and I’m just so excited for the future . Thank you thank you thank you so much for your channel I really wanted to tell you this in person sort of at least in live anyway. My daughter and I will be doing our very first large scale, quilts, and craft fair in January. We are very nervous and don’t really know what to expect but we are also really excited. I’m just trying to make as much as I possibly can so we’ll have enough for three days. Again, finding you and then all the other channels associated with this along with bag making community. It’s just been such a blessing. I was on the verge of giving up and you brought in a new light. Thank you again.
@kelliejeanlawsonmaddux7284 that's such an encouraging and beautiful thing to hear. Thanks so much. I'm glad you've found your inspiration again. Good luck for your fair. Take care and happy stitching. X
I found you late in the year so I didn't participate but I did enjoy watching the videos. When I get a chance I may go back and do the 2024 project. I am an aging quilter and preparing to down size which means creating smaller projects. The postcard project sounds interesting. I will be joining at the start of the year. Thank you for sharing.
Blast! I missed the live stream, but am looking forward to returning to featherstitchhouse for a sewing project. I loved doing the 2022 Winging It project with my sister and hope she'll join in with me for the 'Pick of the Pots' next year!
Ordered my books and box ready for January. I love slow stitching and torn edges so have decided to use calico with a backing to do my projects on instead of felt and introduce the colour into the work Thank you for all your inspiration ❤
@trace1968able a general multi colour pack will be fine. Or you can work on the same backing colour each week and just add the 'pick' colours. I want to keep it as a surprise but if you have a variety of shades, you'll be fine. X
Good for you setting up KoFi. You deserve any and all good things that come from this new dire ction as well as financial sustenance. Don't feel you need to respond to this. I have really enjoyed your channel since at least 2022. You do seem much more comfortable than in the beginning.
@luannianke8110 thanks so much. I definitely feel more comfortable now. I was so nervous back in 2022. I hope I keep improving. Every day's a school day for me. Thanks for your support and encouragement. X
Managed to catch up with your life stream and love your ideas for 2025. I started following you when you did your 2022 fabric book which inspired me to make my own year book which I finished last year. I used quite a few of your ideas and must post some pictures on the facebook group. I also loved this year but didnt join in any of the months because I was to busy with learning and developing my Sashiko skills. So...my new year's resolution is to join you in your postcard adventure. I will subscribe in January for the full monty since my drawing skills are lacking and I love learning more about poetry. Wishing you a lovely Christmas all the way from The Netherlands, Conny
Oh! WOW! you are going to be busy next year. I did most of the 2022 project and my goal is to finish it this year. I might participate in the 2025 project. It sounds fun. I am doing the A-Z pages too. You are very talented and it is so great that you are sharing it with us.

I so agree with you, Rebecca I am also a teacher, but I teach adults and I took them back to comparing their careers to artistic ways of doing things and have them see how creative they are on a daily basis when they don’t even realize they’re doing it I made them think about anything that they do in their jobs and the creative ways that they come up with accomplishing their goals and tasks That’s all being creative, but I also agree with you in terms of. I am also very shy and it’s really hard for me to get in front of people, but I can do it virtually no problem. Just a question. Where do we post any of our projects? Is it on Facebook
