Man if only you knew Rosario Sephelli, one of the greatest guitarist I have had the honor of meeting. He might not think so. Scar Gallery is the band from the '90's.
I was gifted a Hondo II with Dimarzzio pickups. It is in awesome shape. Now it is time for me to learn. I love all kinds of music. I like Golden Salt. The guitar was from a metal guitarist from Texas.
Brian May's "Royal vibe:" comes from the fact that it's all Major mode which is the dominant mode of British classical music. "God Save The King", "Pomp and Circumstance", kind of stuff. Major mode has a happy sound to it and you can't listen to classical music without hearing a whole lot of it.

The perfect solo-guitarists for me are Gilmour, Slash and Cantrell. I'm a rhythm guy myself, but when you hear them people's solos, I cannot help but go and frickin learn that beautiful peace of music. I won't say I wish I had such skill and talent as you do, but you, my friend, will be an example, that's for sure. Love and respect from UA!
@@The_SOB_II back in the day, i had never met such unique bands, but then i found out some rather amazing music, thankfully, with a constant access to the web, its very hard to not to find anything
Great as usual, Andrea. Following you for over five years now and it is still a pleasure to listen your play. You are a hell of a guitar player! Greetings to Italy from Germany and keep on rocking, Dude.
I just love every single piece of content you put out, I've been following for 7 years and seeing your progress both technically and spiritually is really cool, there's been a very distinct and mature difference lately and I'm all for it, superb as always
Really loved it, especially the fast metal solo was really cool; just the right mixture of melody and shred and still being aware that you play to a song, so referencing it here and there... Great job!
The closest thing I can think of for a kind of Prog-aggressive solo would be Alex Lifeson's from Rush's Stick It Out. He also mixes the chops of an aggressive solo with a distinctive spin on the Gilmourish sound with Cut To The Chase.
The bit from 5:00 to 6:25 its so fucking amazing, I had to come back and listen to it a couple more times and got intense goosebumps, so unbelievably awesome! I would sincerely love to have the backing track for that or at least the chords you structured. Sound so good, damn.
One song that really nails that Brian May type of vibe for me on the solo is Livgardet by Sabaton. That whole thing is pure Queen worship, it's incredible.
I have to say that your channel is one of my favorite guitar channels on RUclips, mostly because you are extremely versatile easy to follow and just so perfect! That last solo on coda was amazing… Was that an original?
Nice! I saw the thumbnail and thought this was just another joke video about guitar player stereotypes, but it's actually thoughtful and very well made. Kudos to you!
Awesome video! The amount of effort that's gone into this is off the charts. These bits you play in each segment are originals as well yeah? They're all great examples of styles. 3:50 Racer X Technical Difficulties is one of my all time favourite instrumentals it's almost perfect as far as I'm concerned
Dave Murray of Iron Maiden has a Gilmourish sound at times (for example, the solos in Prodigal Son), and Adrian Smith actually did a version of Comfortably Numb's outro solo (just look up Adrian Smith Comfortably Numb), although Smith's solos are usually a fusion of different styles. Dance of Death is a great example of his soloing, and possibly his best ever solo. Murray on the other hand tends to be more emotional in his playing, and his writing in general. Man of Sorrows is a good example. Man Who Would Be King is a great example. Thin Line Between Love And Hate is pretty much the perfect example, and it's a masterpiece to boot. Murray not only wrote the song, but played all five solos in it. It really shows how versatile he is as each solo is different.
4:30 - Man... Literally every John Fruciante solo. They're not exactly funk, but fit great into the example you showed. He even adds a bit more screaminess into the guitar, which surprisingly matches the vocals of Tony Kiedis and Flea's bass.
I think that for me I’m a combination of Gilmourish (David is one of my biggest guitar heroes), Bluesy, Aggressive, Fast/Furious, Emotional, Simple and Brian May (another big influence of mine) but this was still a great video nonetheless and your playing never ceases to amaze me, keep it up man
What an absolute Masterpiece. The last stretch of this video was nothing short of brilliant. Reminded me a lot of Transatlantic and Dream Theater. Great stuff as always!
The best solo for me: #1 I love Gilmour and i love the mix with you own vibes! So emotionally and beautiful scales. Also that great guitartone! So satisfying. ❤
I'm definitely on the aggressive/fast & furious side of things when left to my own devices. When you're playing in a dance/cover band, you don't get a lot of space to really announce your presence with authority, so when I get that moment, you best believe my fingers start flying and the picks start melting =D

Criminally underrated guitar RUclipsr. Your solos are so tasty and original
I Agree!
He has 500k subscribers, mate.
@@OniDasAlagoas he deserves way more tbh
Love the research you put in for the types of solos and examples of each of them. Excellent work as always.

Also May plays with 6p coin with a royal on it (iirc they are made only for this one purpose now)
Why are you so good at every style
You even added timestamps what a legend
What where???
Where?
But there are no time stamps

Actually I agree. Huge fan of both Alice and Floyd

you have to check Larry Carlton's solo in "Kid Charlemagne" :)
Thank you for putting a name on my favourite kind of solo. That melancholic sound is what made me fall in love with guitar solos.
Absolutely right about the "royal" vibe of Brian May's guitar! Always thought the same 🤘🏻
It’s like he’s a killer queen or something...
Great mention of Dire Straits - Brothers in Arms. Song has some of the most heart-wrenching licks I ever heard.
Great as usual, Andrea. Following you for over five years now and it is still a pleasure to listen your play. You are a hell of a guitar player!

love the transitions, it almost felt like the video was one long guitar solo

Omg yes!
Intense and Emotional - Avenged sevenfold (Synyster Gates) - So far Away - 2:20
Exactly. Perfect solo for such a wonderful song. foREVer
The Melancholic solo gives off super strong Shine On You Crazy Diamond vibes
Intense and Emotional style could also be a fit for Blue Oyster Cult's "Astronomy" both the original release and the late 90s re-release.

DUDE, you mentioned Steffen Schackinger and I'm blown away. I almost forgot about him... god... now I feel old, thanks. xD
Funk solo: Tower of Power - Squib Cakes (1:15 - 2:10). He also does a few short ones in What is Hip? that are tasty
I totally love how you mix your acoustic guitars.

Thank you man, I'm flattered. Yes, it was just something I wrote for the video
Frickin phenomenal. Love your work!
I melt with the melancholic solo
I like how Dream Theater appears in pretty much every style. Goes to show how good John Petrucci really is.

Funk solos:
Parliament Funkadelic - Maggot brain
Prince - November rain
The Time - Jungle love
Your videos and your game are just a balm for the soul
The timestamps on the solos also interestingly demonstrate how each band builds tension in different ways
as a pearson who has been seeing your development, your videos are just getting better and better. What a job. Amazing!! Sucess Friend!!
Love that you gave songs with timestamps! Lots of songs to checkout 😄
That last bit was uplifting to the point of being surreal. Great job 👏 👏 👏
Intense and emotional we can put too: so far away and seize the day of Avenged sevenfold! Nice video
So cool. The Brian May bit a highlight with the audio and video multitrack.
Intense and Emotional is probably my favourite style from here

I like the agressive type of guitar solo, that bad ass solo that caught you off guard and hits you in the face!
#3 Melancholic was beautiful man
Princes guitar solo in Kiss is Very funky and very underrated imo
funky solos i can come up with some by joe bonamassa, like the one in "i´ll play the blues for you"
Love the end solo and backing track aswell it gives me that late 80’s early 90’s joe satriani vibe. Top notch stuff
Thank you for my new spotify playlist
Personally, I love songs that have great guitar solos, so this video really warms my heart. Great job, Andrea. 👍😉🤘🎸
I would pay to see this guy play for sure
Cheers from Portugal
3:30 wow !! thanks boma !
I'm a metahead, excellent video, I loved the blues solo, and I'm surprised by the variety of music you listen to
Amazing...
And the Andrea Boma Boccarusso style!
at 06-funk i feel like listening to richie kotzen. and loved the 'andrea boccarusso' detail at 3:50
Guthrie Govan level of versatility and beautifully musical. Dear Sir, once again, hat off to you!
You have some great blues chops! I don't know why that was unexpected, but I shouldn't be surprised.
Epic solo at the end of the video.
Please make Lead Guitar lessons too... your rythm lessons are amazing....
For not playing or listening to funk, you sure did nail that funky guitar solo 👍
I think Andrew Latimer solos fits the intense and emotional bit. Like they most of them are pretty sad, but also joyful and powerful and the same time
You’ve upped the video & lighting game! Very tasty solos too.
As soon as I heard the "melancholic" I thought of Steve Wilson from PT. Cool video.
Awesome stuff! Loved the sad Opeth-esque solo
Damn, that last solo was fucking epic
Lol. "Mayish." I like that. My favorite space-poodle now his his own adjective to add to his other achievements.🤣
Love your content boma I learn a lot from you keep goin man
Nuno got the funk!!! Great job 👏 👍
Almost like a loading screen to a game, very smooth
Безумно круто! Сочинять соло "по мотивам" - классно получается!
The solo in section 3) Melancholy sounds inspired by the intro solo to Cemetary gates by Pantera.
Love the appreciation for herzeleid’s solo

English rockers sure had a lot of positive influence on modern music. And great job at delivering each style as it was your natural one.
They sure did.
You spot on sensational 🎸
Surprised not to see a section for solos that do "tricks" for unique sounds like big divebombs, pick scrapes, or more Tom Morello type stuff.
Beautiful work as always.

Cacophonic solos :
Great examples but no Starved by Dethklok?
Minchi... Man, do the Melancholy feat Proud and Emotional (with some slow sweeps maybe) full song! Davvero bellissimo.
