I keep coming back. I still can't believe how much can he takes you to a journey with only 8 bars.
here.
Totally
Had to do it over and over man it has that thing that has you hooked... it’s there
For a 57th time
I've had Chris Buck's solo stuck in my head the last 24 hours and had to come back for more.
SAAAAME MAN!!!
same bro, I've listened to it at least 40 times
I can’t stop listening to it. It’s the most tasteful thing I’ve heard in a long time.
Paul looked like he fell in love with the man during that solo.
I thoroughly enjoyed watching that, thank you. Such a neat experiment to see different people's artistic take. They were all incredible!!!
Pure joy, a wonderful collaboration, thanks, Paul
Holy moly CHRIS BUCK. That’s art.
I agree 1000%!
I think we’re engaged. 😍
By far the best. He was channeling John Mayer :)
Without depreciating the other artists, he is a great inspiration.
@@olafnelsonduerksen9676 calling someone the greatest does not diminish the value of others. It merely sets rank :) As a guy who might be lucky to be in the top 50% of all guitar players (but probably in the bottom 25%), it doesn't hurt my feelings to know my inferiority to other players. It doesn't change the value of my playing at all. It just means you will probably never see my name on Billboard ;)
Chris Buck made me fuckin' cry.
It's ok to cry.

@@carlmarks8170 What does me calling out your toxic remarks in a sarcastic fashion have to do with my ability as a guitar player. You know nothing about me, for all you know I dont even play guitar.
@@carlmarks8170 Who hurt you so bad in your life that you’re so sensitive to emotion that someone even mentioning it in a youtube comment has you wounded.
@@carlmarks8170 "Toughen up" the irony is huge.
I didn't know Chris Buck until now. He was the most original, His take was the living example for a simple solution to a complicated problem :))))
Chris Buck.. my god. Unbelievable skill and artistry.
Pete Thorn and Chris Buck had the tastiest licks throughout, but twas all good (-:
I agree
chris buck has to be one of my favorite "youtube guitarists" at the moment. great tone and always makes me feel something whenever he plays
Pete won it for me, although all very good.
They made my spine shiver lol Just g o r g e o u s
I absolutely agree!
That Chris Buck take makes me want to cry - so lyrical, so beautiful. Just stunning. Loved Thorn and Larson too...
For me it was Buck, Thorn and Larson as well. Each of them brought something unexpected but very musical to the track and had very good, very polished tone.
I'm watching all these challenges now and learning so much from them. What a great idea. Thank you!
This was outstanding. Great to hear the different approaches and thought process behind.
Chris Buck is a genius. Don't think I've ever head as much delicacy of playing squashed into 8 bars. Brilliant video throughout, very interesting.
Your comment is spot on 👍
👍
to me Chris Buck just nailed the feel with close second Pete Thorn!
Agreed.
Yeahh
👍🏼
Exactly my feelings.
What an awesome video! How generous of the great musicians to share their talent. Loved this.
What an amazing selection of guitar players. Everyone did so good, each with his own style and taste. Love this kind of content!
I know everyone is commenting this, but everything about that Chris Buck solo was amazing
literally have been trying to play this solo for the last couple of hours. its so amazing. kind of have his helix patch down if anybody wants.
The definition of creamy
it was the best imo
@@Thomas-cw9ej no contest for me. Blew everyone else’s out of the water
Was about good as it gets.
Chris Buck's was my favorite. He's got a great sense of feel and tone in his playing...
The guy's an absolute monster on guitar..
Agreed. Chris Buck just makes me smile. I don’t want to say “monster” because his playing is so beautiful. He’s like Orpheus
Yep on both, he killed it here
Beautiful tone on his guitar, and such tasteful playing.
ridiculously nice!
Just came across this and loved it! Fantastic to see all these amazing players not only doing their thing but breaking down how they went around about it. Thank you Paul!
What a treasure this is! Even beyond the actual performances, which were all stunning, listening to each guitarist’s thoughts on how they approached their solos was very insightful.
I loved Pete Thorn but... Chris Buck... man, did he play hauntingly beautifully. Thanks.
Everyone was great but Chris Buck is just from another world. Good lord that man can play.
I loved this video! So many great guitarists with their own flavors. The gear and approaches were all very much appreciated additions to that uniqueness.
Excellent vid , great way to start my 2022 , seeing these brilliant pickers lay down some soul .
Thanks Paul
