    Another winning video. This woman is amazing - not sure I even know your name. Unbelievably you are not focused on promoting yourself but focus on your topic and your guest. You are the the perfect interviewer in my opinion - smart, penetrating and personable. I love that every interview really gets down to detail and doesn't just gloss over the questions I really want to know the answers to. Not drop-shipping yet - its not as easy as it looks I'm sure - but a great alternative for a older retired person wanting to keep generating an income in a fun way (well more fun than 9-5 for someone else). I also appreciate your guests and the time they give up for these interviews - they don't need to share anything at all. It is truly generous.

    His first tip is so true!!.. starting out I followed what "everyone" seems to advice which is to price my products ×3 and I didn't make any sales for months. When I lowered my prices to reasonable numbers, sales started to flow. Take it from the experts!!! 👍 Thank you Oberlo for this fantastic interview as always.

    The problem is Facebook ads' algorithm... Even professional analysts haven't really figured it out. Sometimes, if you duplicate an adset, it will perform WORSE than it's original counterpart. Even if you duplicate it and start on the same day at the same time as the original.
    A lot of times products will "fail" due to poor targeting. Or you might have lost Facebook's "bid war". It's all so complicated and inconsistent. Don't even get me started on some adsets doing well 1 day, and being unprofitable the next 2 days

  • @happyserhii
    @happyserhii 5 лет назад +1

    ✍️SUMMARY:
    1️⃣ Scroll the category >sub> niche>sub nich on Aliexpress to make engaged shopper algorithm
    2️⃣ Find expensive product (exp Nintendo Console ($299) and create a solution (screen protector)
    3️⃣ If you can find product anywhere in the store in USA 🇺🇸, does not mean that you can find it in different countries stores. Always a potential if your marketing (angle of selling) ON POINT.
    4️⃣ Niche❌general? - on the beginning EASIER with general, as you give LEARNING CURVE time which take some 🕰 & 💰. But more potential with NICHE as it’s more TRUSTWORTHY, easier to UPSELL (increase Average Order Value), also better UNDERSTAND your AUDIENCE and do not need to jump from store to store

    Hi Jessica, since you said you've used the ecomhunt too, i wanted to know when we add the product onto our store directly from ecomhunt, where do we find the source to the original product( to find the details like shipping times...supplier name and such) i did this as a trial after seeing you mention ecomhunt as a place for product research in the Oberlo 101 course...found a cool product there...added it to the store but there was no way for me to get additional details on the product

    • @yeshashm.c.5704
      @yeshashm.c.5704 5 лет назад

      Also..is there a quicker access to you or your team to ask the doubts as the e-mail method takes 2-3 days to get a response back and it becomes difficult when you have day to day plans to get your store up and running as soon as possible

    • @Oberlo

    Hi Guys
    Thanks for the wonderful interview
    There is one doubt in Facebook Ads! when you targeting for a specific amount of audience, Facebook gives estimate number of conversion. For example: on this video when you are setting up ads for luminous basketball, Facebook estimate conversion is 5-24! I know this is just estimate amount but how can it go high for sell up to thousands of dollars! it is not clear and usually when I set an Ads I sell less than Facebook estimate conversion! is there any trick?

    • @Oberlo
      @Oberlo  5 лет назад +1

      Hi there! Great question. You just need to find the right target market and you will be able to sell thousands of units because it does happen. There isn't a trick it's just testing different campaigns. Change the photos, text, show different people and figure out which one is going to be best for the product. Continue to test your ads and you can also check out our free Facebook ads ebook (bit.ly/2zvIPyI). I hope this helps. 🙂 -Jessica

    Product question: I found a product that I think could be a big hit, I can purchase on AliExpress for £20 and intend on selling for £40. The product is nowhere to be found on Amazon or other E-commerce site but there about 15 sellers on eBay selling at £20, all shipping from China. Do you think there is room for profit here or is the market already too saturated?
    Thanks in advance!

    • @Oberlo
      @Oberlo  5 лет назад

    Hey! Would you recommend to sell all this type of product on one website or do I need to pick only one category of products and start selling specific this product?

    • @Oberlo
      @Oberlo  5 лет назад +2

      Hey there! It depends on the approach you want to take. General stores are great because you can test out a variety of products in different niches and scope out winners. But when it comes to branding, it's a little more difficult to tie products around a central theme. Niche stores are highly brandable because you can select a group of products that are all closely related and create a strong motif. People love stories, and brands, and brand stories! The challenge is that if you pick a niche that doesn't pan out, then you'll need to scrap the project and move on to the next one. It's all a part of the process though, and we're here to help when you need us. 🙂 -Jasper

    I dare anyone reading this,to do a price check on any of the items in oberlo,do your homework,and come back,and tell them what you found,they are only interested,in get your monthly fees,for both shopify,and oberlo,that why as much as 90% of people fail with there stores,it's because they realize,this model is just is Price gouging is a term referring to when a seller spikes the prices of goods, services or commodities to a level much higher than is considered reasonable or fair, and is considered exploitative, potentially to an unethical extent.

    Interesting video. and some good advice . But terrible choice of "winner" products . Jessica was right his offerings were like tossing out a bone. BORING !!!!! Based on that I would be reticent to support his product software. I mean non stick pan , drying rack. DOA for the USA for sure !!!!! Just bought a pack of two screen protectors for $6.99 on Amazon. Maybe this video was made in 1959 .!!! Otherwise all of Jessica s other winner videos are gilt edged.

    Can you guys talk more about making proper ads? If you guys teach how to make a proper ad, I will make any product a winning product myself :)

      That's correct! the secret behind any success story is making ads that easily explain the benefits of a product and make the viewer feel like they need it now. I would strongly suggest you to start saving viral ads you see on Facebook and when you launch your next product try to pin down a pattern of success in those viral ads :) Good luck!

      @@mordechaiarba thanks brother. Ik there are some website that find viral ads for you but those are premium and you have to pay like 150/ month. I don't know why Oberlo keeps talking about winning products. These products are winning products because these guys know how to make ads :)

    Price gouging is a term referring to when a seller spikes the prices of goods, services or commodities to a level much higher than is considered reasonable or fair, and is considered exploitative, potentially to an unethical extent. Please check the source of Oberlo products,you will find that,you are overpricing items that oberlo,has made available to and your shopify store. all you are doing is reselling items well above there retail price,
