To anyone considering getting the S20 FE: just do it! You won't regret it at all.
I agree me and my gf got them last week and these phones r worth every penny.
Just avoid Exynos(non 4g variant) and you'll be fine.

So S20 can do everything the iPhone does and more, while the iPhone does some things better/faster but is smaller and more expensive. S20 for me, easily.
The interface on iPhone is why I like it. Samsung is too complicated, apple has a clean interface

iPhone is just optimized so much better with apps like Instagram and Snapchat. Also there are less bugs on iOS. Whereas customisation and features easily go to Samsung. I'd go for the iPhone 12 only if it had 120hz. That is the biggest deal breaker for me
its all about the os and interface nothing comes close to apple.
You can buy the S20 FE here in Australia for AU$999, but iPhone 12 at 128GB is at AU$1,429. That’s a huge price difference here.
Damn that actually sucks.
Exactly. You could save yourself $429 AUD when you buy the S20 FE.

Do it! You won't regret it....my aunt recently jumped ship and said she would never go back. She's been dedicated since the iPhone 2
I went from iphone to Samsung. I've been using my S20 FE for about 10 days now, and I'm so happy with it. Also, I paid $60 on Amazon for a 512gb micro SD card, so storage is massive for a phone. Highly recommend!!!
@TheChaosWithinn I say go for it! I compared the iphone 12 up to the 12 Max, and I liked the S20 so much more. I was originally going to get the S20+, but I had no idea about the FE 5G version. It's much cheaper, and has everything that I wanted without paying the S20+ $1100 price for features I don't use or care about. The FE is perfect for me, but try them all and see what's best for you!

You can get a new s20 plus for around 739 to 749 some places. Snapdragon variant for that price it blows the iPhone 12 out of the water. I don't see magsafe as a pro for apple either. You got to buy that plus their 20 watt charger to be able to get the full 15 watt wireless charge it doesn't work with any other charger but that one not even the faster macbook charger. Apple is ripping people off again. The only thing apple has over the s20 plus is the a14 bionic and you can only see the difference when video editing and rendering. The iPhone both older ones and new doesn't have proper thermal systems for proper cooling and sustained performance when gaming. Sad really with all that processing power. As for video that can be subjective to with the money you save getting the fe or s20 plus get a good 3 axis gimbal and you're good to go. Gets rid of the micro stutters you seem to get on android phones due to the eis.
120hz is honestly a game changer. Now that I've experienced it I can't go back. It's as drastic of a change as when screens went edge to edge. Apple really dropped the ball by not including it this year. Maybe next year

The FE records video at HDR 10-bit as well.
Honestly I have to disagree with what you said in regard to the video shooting experience. I would definitely recommend the S20 FE for someone who takes a lot video for many reasons, the main one being that you have plenty of storage to start out with and easy ways of expanding it as well. You can also shoot in 4k60 on the primary rear sensor and the selfie camera despite the selfie camera footage not being stabilized at that resolution.
The S20 FE takes great 4k30 footage in good natural light and is serviceable for indoor and/or low light scenarios even though the ultrawide sensor can be quite fuzzy without adequate lighting. You also have the pro video shooting mode which is good for setting up external mics or shooting at a different resolution than your main casual video shooting mode. I think the quality between the two is really more of a toss-up than either one being better or worse. Kinda how it is with the new pixels as well.. They used to have the best camera and now they're basically on-par with everyone else.
This is the first Samsung phone I owned where I actually tried DeX and all I can say is that that alone will be the reason Samsung auto wins every time! This thing is amazing and will now be a must have for me
What is DeX?
@@omz_espinoza Dex allows you to use your phone with computer experience. You can connect to a monitor with a cable, or you can connect to a Samsung TV(Idk if the other brands support or not)wirelessly. That's a cool and useful feature for me.
When my laptop dies I probably won't replace it because of DeX.
@@slinkyaroo Even on my Tab S6, which has DeX available to use on device instead of having to use an external display, has almost no purpose. It adds no additional functionality. One Ui has so many ways to multitask that it defeats the entire purpose of DeX.

Apple is getting worse and worse. Damn they had that notch for like 4 years
Looks soo much better than the samsung . Not futuristic at all in my opinion. But it all comes to the personal perspective...
And after all i‘m kinda tired of ppl saying apple has no innovation in design.... like how many ways are there to design a phone ? Not many and the iphone looks really good imo.

Some might argue with you whether or not having a glass back makes for better build quality over a plastic back.
Glass will be better against scuffs, but glass is glass, the first drop on something hard.........

Hi! Please, can you make a full camera test between S20 FE and iphone 12? Night photos, videos, stabilization, zoom, colors, etc.

Even on a budget, I'd go with the S20 FE instead of Apple. Apple's too overpriced by offering you not so much features like Android can.
So you say having a phone that lasts you 5 years is overpriced and rather buy a phone that may last you 1 or EVEN 2 years?
Lmao android phones may have a good battery after 1 year when you turn on the battery saving mode but if not then the battery sucks...
@@lel3019 I always keep low battery on anyway plus they promise 3 years of update so that's good and android phones last alot longer than that depending on how you use it and it's much cheaper not everyone can afford a iphone nor want one

Fair, it’s your preference. It is not the same for everyone tho. Apple does deliver its value for some users.

Samsung has a good battery for like uhm short term. They don't run out fast but the older they get the worse it is. Apple on the other hand has an okay battery but in the long term, Apple beats it. It's just preference in operating systems and brands

Samsung S20 SE Outplayed iPhone 12 no doubt...
Where I live the S20 FE 5G costs 470$ for the 128gb model, while the iPhone 12 costs 920$ for the 128 model.
I really want to have an iPhone, but I don't think it worth the double price tag.
To me the S20 FE wins because: $700, 128Gb storage in base model + expandable memory, 120hz refresh rate display, no notch, larger display, charger included in the box. The A14 bionic is not that super fast in comparisons I've watched, it is actually disappointingly similar only really shining in video decoding, which has always been what they are good at; and next year when new phones get the new Exynos 1080, Apple will have to really re-invent the wheel.
Easy win for the FE imo , it comes with a charger for a start !
The slight horsepower edge the iPhone has its negated by the fact it runs with a 60 Hz screen, the very very very slight edge the iPhone has in video quality is also negated by a more versatile camera in the FE.
the FE has expandable storage, the Dex function, the FE is cheaper, no contest win to the FE imo.
It’s a 250 price difference if you go to bestbuy and yes I am talking about the snapdragon
Dude FE STILL has touchscreen issues. Thanks but no thanks.
Never really understood the discrimination on plastic. its less likely to break. My first smart phone was a S3 and it never broke after a little over 6 big drops. I guess i understand giving apple a point for material but what difference does it make to the user experience in the long run?
Going with the FE based on price, charger and 120fps display
I hate when ppl say how cheap it feels and look, the same ppl that probably uses a phone case.... I recently bought my S20FE and my apple friend with the iphone 12 was actually jealous of the fact the FE comes with 120 Hz, Telephoto lense, EXPANDABLE MEMORY, etc. And all the people who complains about performance...realistically whose gonna use the phone to the max everyday
Scratches and your paying $800 for a plastic build
Based on value the FE wins for me. The difference in the video quality is marginal when recording/playback on social media or web environment.
Ok so the S20 have wireless powershare, no wires needed, comes with it straight out of the box
However the iPhone 12 has.. magasafe?
Which you don't get but have to buy separately..
And the magsafe doesn't come with a power brick
And the iPhone itself doesn't come with a power brick too..
S20 just killed iPhone..
Don't forget, if they want the correct charge from the magsafe, they HAVE to buy apples power brick to.

How's your phone now? Any battery heating problems? I can't decide between iPhone 11 and SE20
@@emilijanar Hey! Wow it's been a year already that's crazy. But my phone is still pretty good. However I do have some things to say about it for sure. The battery does heat up quite a bit if it has a thick case on it or if you put it under a blanket (like I did once) and it over heated before shutting down. The battery life was super good when it was new. As of now, it's decent but I can tell it will start dying a lot faster. Like something roller down a hill, it will get faster and faster before it stops lol.
But my biggest heartbreak is the camera. The back camera is alright but not the best, my previous Google Pixel 3 had an amazing camera and I'd take that over the SE 20. The selfie camera is absolutely awful! It's grainy and not good at all, it reminds me of a phone camera back from 2014. If the camera matters to you then I'd go with the iPhone 11 or other choice than the SE 20.
Everything else is great though. If you play mobile games like I do, the graphics are super crisp and clear. I have had no problems with anything to do with that. If I think of anything else I'll probably edit this reply, but I hope this helps! Good luck with your new phone! :)

fe win , thanks for the nice video Saki ✌️
I have the FE but whenever I try to record video in 4k for more than 10 minutes it will over heat...even when I try stay on live for more than 10 minutes on social media it over heats
Man I love your videos
I have both phones. Upgraded my OnePlus 6t to the S20 FE (my first Sammy) and also traded my iPhone Xr for a iPhone 12. So far I'm *REALLY* enjoying the iPhone while I'm just getting used to the Samsung.
The performance of the iPhone is simply great.
However, coming from the OnePlus to the Sammy is taking a little time to get used to. OxygenOS was a joy to use and I'm finding OneUI to be a bit cumbersome TBH... or let me say it another way.. OneUI simply gets in the way quite often.
With that being said, I'm giving the Sammy another week or two before changing launchers to try to get a more stock experience.
However, it's not all roses with the iPhone 12. While the new screen is far more resistant to cracking due to impact it's also FAR more subject to scratching. So I'm treating this phone very gently until the case and tempered glass screen protector I ordered finally arrives.
On that same note, the S20 FE already has a bit of scuffing from being in my pocket. I also ordered a case/TG screen protector for this one.
Neither phone is perfect but both are enjoyable.
Whats holding u back more exactly on One Ui
I would like to help
Since i find the One Ui better than other Roms
Awakened Garou one ui takes time to get used to especially if you come from one plus or apple
@@somefatkid2080 get used in what way ? its very simple
simpler than stock in some cases
Shocking conclusion indeed 😂
great review
Very nice video!
Funny how even a samsung midranger is a next gen phone compared to IPhone
Plastic phone with slower processor and 2d face scanning that can be tricked with a photo is next gen to you?
Aside from 120hz and better screen the fe doesn’t really win in many categories
@@AhMaDECK value for money? Battery ?
@@user-ro5cn8ih5o the value for your money is subjective if you use the features of android like customization and reverse wireless charging and that type of stuff then it’s value for your money but if you just use the phone for browsing the internet texting and calling and don’t care about the ascetic of the phone you just want it to work well and for a long time then iPhone would arguably be the better option since it would last for 5-6 years which would be a good investment
You guys forgetting the S20 FE's features?
i bought the fe and i love it! but i had it 2 days and the camera glass broke already..gorilla glass 3 not good enough but performance great and so is the battery .. screen quality not as great as i like but for the price i love it
hmm that's weird? I have the a20 which is a pretty cheap version compared to the s20 and it's going strong, I had it for almost 2 years now
@@andreatali4471 it uses gg3 too weak
I'm also confused in choose iphone or samsung please suggest I'll will s20 fe 5g or iphone ?
3:20 WRONG ! iPhone glass is more drop ressistant, not scratch resistant
Instead of watching the video I got lost in the comments :/
Me too... 😂
You forgot to mention that you can download emulators on your android and play any game in the world from Nintendo or Xbox and even ps4
Even computers dont have a good ps4 emulator as far as i am concerned.
@@blizzardstone7803 yeah lmfao. The notion that you could emulate a ps4 is so hilarious. You'd need a phone that is 6 times as powerful as a ps4 just to run it.
@@kaarthuisplus processors in phones are already better than the ps4 nowadays lol and in 1080p it wont be a problem to emulate a ps4 game 😂 and phones even have a gpu in the soc while a ps4 runs on a cheap apu
Emulators also run on ios lol
same third party emulators run on iphone also
i got s20 FE 5g for 450 dollars in my region. should i get it?
Thank you very very much!!!!
Samsung has 120hz screen, Apple living in the past catering to simple old people (Just look at their software design lol) ;)
I just got the S20 fe. No regrets.
It comes with pro video mode, and pro photo mode out the box unlike iPhones.
I'm able to easily get that natural photo look iphone has, with zero effort. You can literally save what your manual options are, so no I don't need to manually do it everytime.
S20 has thepower to offer those options.
The pro video mode also lets me make the colors more natural, like the iphone which I do prefer. In the settings you can choose again, to save those settings.
The only thing the iphone does better in such a great way is the wide angle night shot. For some odd reason the s20 fe wide angle nightshot has a weird desaturation effect in the real dark areas.
As for speed? my s20 fe feels faster, cause I set the animations to 0.5. Now it makes the iphone 12 look slow, and everything opens up instantly.
Overall I'm very pleased, I thought I'd regret not getting the 12, but after having the s20 fe for a while I can say I do not at all.
Even auto mode takes excellent pictures and video. It's a great device for 700.
Did u get the 5G version or 4G?

Heavy user, so so far not a single app crash, lag, spike, or glitch. Feels nice.

enjoy it!
@@crazytech5755 but I think the 4G version is with snapdragon, no?
why did they get rid of headphone jacks?
Wow I’m earlyyyyyy!!!
Fe has expandable storage, ships with charger, 120 refresh rate, no glass back and also cheaper.
Watching this on my Samsung S20 FE and loving it 🥰🥰
Just FYI after 3days usage, I feel battery 🔋 drains bit faster..like with heavy usage there it does not last a whole day.
