Nice objective review. Both are fantastic phones. Samsung has really come a long way. I had an S5 for a while, not bad considering where we were in the evolution of smart phones. I had early models of the iPhone as well. These two phones, and others, are just so much more powerful than any computer I used in the 80s or 90s. I always wonder how many of the powerful features most people use in today's smart phones?
Apple name, features aside, people also buy the iPhones because they think they have better cameras because apps don't maximize the android photo quality (I know iPhone cameras are great rn) like you can have an S10 but upload an IG story that looks like an iPhone 6 or older phone quality, that's why people think iPhones have the best cameras because developers only optimize it for Apple which is a shame.

Great review! I’ve got a question though: do you think the Samsung s20 will start to slow down and lag after the two years of support? I want to be able to use it for at least 3-4 with smooth performance :)
Always depends on how you are using your phone. If you are a person who trashes their phone with unnecessary apps and documents, your phone is going to degrade faster (1-2.5 years max). Also it depends on your work load and how you charge your phone. A phone with a trashed battery is useless. I had my S8 for about 3 years and now im thining about upgrading to a newer phone.
Thanks for stating what the differences are between both of them, but is it with Atmos activated on the S20 if it has it. - Is it possible to customize the sound on the S20, and is it still the worst?
I will always prefer Samsung over apple when coming to pictures with scenaries but apple constantly has better pictures when people are involved in the photos. Google and apple are the only companies that seem to have skin tones down within their camera software
Bloat ware on galaxy is annoying and a waste of space. Movie editors are not great. iPhone looks dated, but other than that it’s tight. LCD won’t get ‘burn- in’ like the galaxy can. My iPhone 6 is 6 years old and going strong. I want that night mode though.
Samsung didn't copy the gesture navigation; Google did. The one you're using on the S20 is Google's. If you go into the gesture navigation settings in One UI, you can choose between three buttons, Google's gesture navigation, or Samsung's. Samsung's is similar to the three button approach, except that you simply swipe up from the bottom of the screen where the buttons would normally be.
Why haven't you also purchased an excellent screenprotector, for example, the Whitestone Dome Glass if it is compatible with the S20, and isn't too expensive?
Rob Wightman The average consumer doesn’t care about that. Check Apple’s iPhone sales if you don’t believe me. You and I on the other hand can understand that but to be honest I love both iOS and Android and I have an 11 Pro Max, an 11, an S20 and I’m waiting on my new SE (2020) to arrive and I honestly do prefer the display on my 11 over the S20. The brightness is just so dull to me.
i dont ever hear anyone moaning that the ipad pro is a crap lcd display and many creative pros are using them for high grade paid work lol , the reviewer of this video even said how good the colour collaboration was on the iphone 11
1st fact: the iphone 11 display is so good that when it was compared in a blind test to a 1080p android device, people thought the iphone 11 had the 1080p display. (Not saying it’s better than amoled. But it is good) 2nd fact: iphone xr/11 display was good enough that it has higher sales than s20. (S20 sales failed miserably according to samsung) 3rd fact: apple’s iphone x made more money for samsung than their own flagship s8 in 2017. (Samsung supplied materials for apple that time) -funny how samsung made more money because of iphone x than because of selling their own flagship. AHAHAH

Hey, Darius, at 6:52, on the Samsung, how do you get the iPhone-like horizontal navigation bar at the bottom of the screen? I really, really want that. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus, and I'm on OneUI 2.1, but I don't see that option in settings... 🤔😢
They are not even comparable the crappy exynos can’t even get 60fps and easily goes 60 degrees very hot, so many people returned their phones because of heating. I can say galaxy s20 is more like a midranger with flagship price.
I still don’t understand why most tech reviewers complain about the absence of the headphone jack. Removing the jack gives you more battery space, which is far more important!
Lol who gives a shit about 5 years of update on the iPhone when in a year everyone is going to be on 5g and if you bought any iphone, you'll be stuck on 4g and 720p screen
This is same reason apple released the iPhone SE during the pandemic. They market how it has this powerful chip and how cheap it is but if they were to release it later, no one would buy into their marketing scheme because it's only 4g capable
3+ years from now the iphone will have better resale value, better performance, better software and apps support, iphone imessage and apple eco system is unmatch. If you change your phone every year staying on top of new tech, then either one is great. However, if you change your phone every 3-4 plus years, then iPhone wins hands down.`

Thanks for stating what the differences are between both of them, but is it with Atmos activated on the S20 if it has it. - Is it possible to customize the sound on the S20, and is it still the worst?
Glad to have find this review 💕
Love the transitions!
You can create just about any gesture navigation you want in Android using an app like Nova Launcher.
That's true!
It's not necessary because ONE UI has that feature too!
Eduardo Lara M Can you swipe up on a App icon like facebook and it will take you directly to a App of your choice.. Like messenger?
Me with my iPhone 11 👁👄👁
I like it when you said, 'obviously that there are no expandable storage slot on the iPhone', but Apple should supply expandable storage.

I will always prefer Samsung over apple when coming to pictures with scenaries but apple constantly has better pictures when people are involved in the photos. Google and apple are the only companies that seem to have skin tones down within their camera software
Exactly
Bloat ware on galaxy is annoying and a waste of space. Movie editors are not great. iPhone looks dated, but other than that it’s tight. LCD won’t get ‘burn- in’ like the galaxy can. My iPhone 6 is 6 years old and going strong. I want that night mode though.
I got iPhone 11, I love it a lot.
@WhoDarestheMAN gamer ok
I don’t like this new comment system🤨
Me too 🤨😒☹️
Is your phone the exynox version. If yes i have heard the battery is bad. Is it true?
I talk about it here: 9:45
Why haven't you also purchased an excellent screenprotector, for example, the Whitestone Dome Glass if it is compatible with the S20, and isn't too expensive?
Finally a review that states the absolute fact of how crap these iPhone calibrated displays are its laughable when the isheep defend this😂
Rob Wightman The average consumer doesn’t care about that.
But it is good)
2nd fact: iphone xr/11 display was good enough that it has higher sales than s20. (S20 sales failed miserably according to samsung)
3rd fact: apple’s iphone x made more money for samsung than their own flagship s8 in 2017. (Samsung supplied materials for apple that time)
-funny how samsung made more money because of iphone x than because of selling their own flagship. AHAHAH
@@albertdiaz6829 the average customer is paying for a premium phone, so they should get a better screen.
I know that Apple LCD is pretty decent, but still...
@@haroldoduarte1393 lcd is better for longevity,i still prefer lcd because the color aacuracy and dont have problem with color calibration in different level brightness, oled have this problem which not all people notice!
Iphone 11 display is LCD 720P ??😳😳😳😳🤣
yup smh
For me Iphone 11 any day
I would love to upgrade my iPhone 7+ to 11✨
I’m an iPhone 11 Pro Max user , could you compare s20 ultra against the 11 pro max , I’ve liked and subscribed to your channel great review 👍
I sadly don't have the 11 Pro Max but it ultimately comes down to software preferences and I'd say the s20 ultra has a better camera
IPhone looks like sht compared to the well designed s20.
My brother has the IPhone. I just bought the Samsung. We are very excited to compare them
watching this on my 11 lol
Ist good? I'm so conflicted now. 😢
@@helloitsmebarney9526 im so satisfied samsung product long term value is 0
What is up with his brows?
They are not even comparable the crappy exynos can’t even get 60fps and easily goes 60 degrees very hot, so many people returned their phones because of heating. I can say galaxy s20 is more like a midranger with flagship price.
I still don’t understand why most tech reviewers complain about the absence of the headphone jack. Removing the jack gives you more battery space, which is far more important!
how so?
Some Xiaomi phones has 4000 mamp battery and headphone Jack in the same time
I think s 20 is something which can give fresh experience, but I don’t like s 20 fingerprint scanner and face unlock...

For video and photography which is better iphone 11 or samsung s20 or samsung note 10 plus?? Im planning on starting to vlog.
Wtf happen to his eyebrows
why did you have to point that out, now i cant unsee it
Some disease i heard
I really like both the phones but what I don't like is that it doesn't have a headphone jack. It would make me feel incomplete. SADDDD
awesome review Sir. !!!
3+ years from now the iphone will have better resale value, better performance, better software and apps support, iphone imessage and apple eco system is unmatch. If you change your phone every year staying on top of new tech, then either one is great. However, if you change your phone every 3-4 plus years, then iPhone wins hands down.`
Both are great phones but I m still fine with my xs max is really fast too and better screen than 11 model
Did you also enabled the function to close the app when you have finish using it?
what happens to your eyebrows
That was great comparasion. I am glad you did regular S20 everybody is doing ultra ultra. Now, please compare it with OP8Pro make our (android user ) life easy by deciding which one should i go for . And make more detailed camera comparison. We in India are getting Exenos version and really want to know is oneplus better or S20.
One plus bro. You will not regret.
Thank you! I am doing my best to get my hands on the OnePlus, stay tuned!
@@DariusKracht looking Forward to it.
I would get the S20... the OP8 Pro is huge, S20 has the perfect size. If you wish a really big phone, then go for OP 8 Pro.
@@lorep7412 s20 has Exynos in india bro, give me Qualcomm Snapdragon I'll always go to samsung.
And btw, OP software is far better than One ui.
Does the S20 have a Touch and Hold Delay function, and if so did you set it for 0.1 but less than 0.25?
iPhone 11 vs s20 ultra which is better
