  • How to fix P000C Code: A Camshaft Position Slow Response Bank 2
A P000C code is set when the computer (ECM/PCM) detects that the camshaft’s position differs from the position that the computer expects during camshaft phase changes.
Possible Causes of a P000C Code:
    Low or Dirty Engine Oil
Bad VVT Components (Solenoid, Oil Control Valve, Actuator/Phaser)
Bad Timing Chain or Timing Belt
    Bad Timing Chain Tensioner
    Bad Cam Position Sensor
    Bad Computer (ECM/PCM)
By using this information user assumes all risk of use.

I have a P000C Camshaft ‘A’ Position Slow Response - Bank 2 in a 2002 Suburban 5.3L. Rebuilt the engine and installed a Summit Racing torque camshaft, upgraded the valve train, bigger throttle body, bigger injectors, headers, catalytic converter, and cat back exhaust. What do you think it could be?
