nice video! for traveling i use 16-35 f2.8 and 70-200 f4. its essential to have the lightest setup as possible considering it has to be carried around. its also problematic to change lenses, when you can just arrive at a place with closer or further objects. i use canon and im getting the 24-240 lens to replace to 70-200. im also considering swapping the wide 16-35 f2.8 ef, with the 14-35 f4 rf, but in low light i use the wide alot, so im probably keeping that. anyway, you gave some good tips. keep it up.
@@JantriPinem my opinion has changed, i got the rf 16mm f2.8 and im loving it for the size and weight. i barely use the 16-35 anymore. also i barely use the 70-200. i use the 50mm f1.8 when i need portraits. so my current everyday setup is, 16mm, 50mm and 100-400 for sports and wildlife. i would probably replace the 70-200 with 24-240. i just havent gotten that yet, if i find that used at a good deal i would pick it up. my recommendation is try as much setups as possible, what you like could be different.
Thanks for sharing your tips! Traveling is definitely a balance between what weighs the least and what'll keep the quality. Keep this up! Btw I make movies, recently filmed a portrait about an aspiring painter in Sweden, I’d really appreciate if you took a look Jannis! :)
maybe 24-70 2.8 with 35/50 1.4 will be nice to get for travel video

Thanks for sharing! Sounds like a great setup. Canon lenses are anyway amazing doesn’t matter if EF or RF depending on your autofocus needs✌️
im thinking to go with the same setup as you, but are you not considering to get prime lense as well?

@@jannis.rothermel you're welcome ♥️😍
But one thing I want to know. Lets I'm in a car and shooting outside from the window, I want everything in focus. How to do that?
