What else have you done besides this and these settings? I've got a very high-end system as well, and I don't get anywhere close to what you get. I don't even get 100 frames with the same exact settings.
3:52 Reflex drops frames to lower latency and boost mode simply drops more frames than the standard on mode. There is no offloading or clock manipulation involved.
Why were your graphics settings different from your 12.12 graphics settings guide? I saw a lot of stuff that was different... Shadows on ultra? Didnt you say that shadows should be on low due to some bug? Was that fixed? HBAO on colored very high? Was this the setting you said only made it look better for your stream? Is that why you have it this way?
So, even with v sync turned off in control panel, enabling it in game adds input lag? I thought it’s disabled completely in the control panel, why would it introduce input lag?

i just found out that the FPS COUNTER will give you a false reading of not being unlocked if your in the menus. you gotta run an offline to see if its unlocked .

If your main game is Tarkov, your next upgrade should be your Ram, Tarkov eats Ram and 16gb is not a lot(for Tarkov). *Usually*, big emphasis on "usually" here, if you have a 30series+ card, try turning your graphics up, not down. Super backwards compared to most games, I know. But ***usually*** the lower the graphics settings, the more load on your cpu, the higher settings, again ******usually***** moves it to your GPU. You might have to tweak it and have some weird combos, but try to load the most you can onto your GPU
Any idea why turning vsync off in control panel but on in game caps the fps to 30 in game? i have terrible screen tearing in Tarkov so i would like to have vsync on.
Reason is probably because you have a 60hz monitor but your GPU can't consistently run the game at 60fps or higher, so the system has to drop it down to 30 to stop screen tearing
@@Nokamigg the game runs like shit regardless... go back to your I3, 970 build because i know for sure anyone who tells someone to upgrade is the person with the potato... self conscious maybe?
Idk if you'll read this or if someone can help me but I've followed your suggestions as long as others from different tarkov YTBers and I keep having huge fps drops 2min after spawn, going from 80-90 to 15-30, and it happens continuously, so I basically can't play the game... anyone knows what to do ? thx a lot
Hey Vox loved the vid! I have an amd card and when im in lobby the fps is really high, and it makes my computer work really hard. How can I limit this fps because when vsync is enabled, you can't access the button to change the limit.
Personal experience yes. My 1660Ti will be at roughly 65-75% utilization when my cpu is pegged. I also usually have OBS open which is about 7% of my cpu
for my configuration, my GPU seemed to be more important in this game. When I was CPU bottlenecked this was one of the few games that could max out my GPU.

I dont agree with you if people has monitor with gsync. Vsync on everywhere and latency ultra everywhere.

This is my question also, why would bypassing vsync by forcing it off in control panel introduce input lag?

Leave it on. Just make sure you turn it completely off in the NVIDIA control panel

Always set your frame cap below your monitor max refresh rate! About 5-10 percent should be fine and only if your pc can generate the frames.
