- Fact: finding friends as a solo woman on the road is HARD.
For the first three months of van life, I didn’t have any friends and tbh, I had no idea how to make them. Fast forward 2.5 years, I am currently in Oregon caravanning with seven other amazing solo van life women & feeling so grateful.
In this video, I share all of the ways I eventually made friends as a solo woman on the road and what our “van life summer camp caravan” has been like. Plus, I am catching you up on how I have been after Otto’s passing.

I've lost several very special cats over the years. It can be worse than losing a person. Take care of yourself, honor your feline friend, and remember him.
I cried for a year straight when I lost my red boy to a sarcoma that was hidden under his tongue. When it burst and I took him to the vet I was devastated. Two weeks after that I had to put him to sleep. It will take time for your heart to heal. Laughing and enjoying Altas and your friends will help you get back to your normal. Keep having fun - looks like you all had a blast! I saw a @fastfamvan vlog where you were also with Big Chungus and her family. You have a nice network of friends make sure you lean on them when you need to. Take care! 🧡🧡

Great to see you out again. Grief is an ongoing process. I recently lost my kitty of 20 years. I miss her too 😢. I'm full-time and going to take the next 6 months to see if I find an abandoned cat at a campground or someone with a rescue that fits my lifestyle. Bless you and stay happy and stay strong. ❤

It takes time to heal. It took me a year to let go of my deep sadness after loosing my dog. After that I still had sad dreams and moments of sadness but I decided to get dogs again and it truly helped me heal. ❤
I just stumbled onto your channel. I just lost my cat Bella who looks just like Otto. It brings me comfort to watch your channel and watch Otto. I’m so sorry for your loss 💕

Respectfully I have to disagree. Cats are perfect for this lifestyle. You just need to find the right cat and work with them. In a sticks and bricks I had 10 cats and 3 dogs. When I started this life I only had 3 cats left. I recently lost my last kitty of 20 years. She was a great traveler and i miss her everyday.
@@hcarpam1 I fell that my cats don't like to change territories often. I have changed houses one time and they became perturbed by it, imagine constant travel. I know that they adapt but is not optimal for them. Dogs love to roam, much better for that life stile in my opinion. Sorry for Your loss. Greatings.
