My favorite band EVER. AFI was so almighty in this era.
No the best era was before this when all hallows black sails and all hallows was touring. Followed them so damn long but after 2003 they lost me.
They still are! I just saw the March 11th. They still have it.
@matturibe7858 I think they were great up to Decemberunderground personally. After that, they lost me. Crash Love wasn't for me.

20 Years of Sorrow. The Miseria Cantare is everything about that nostalgia. Looking back on the almighty emo days of AFI until now, they evolved in the most best way the could have!

The moment I played this, it’s been nothing but tears. Nostalgia is a mf! I’m so thankful that out of all our history, I got to live in era of AFI, mudvayne, Linkin park, and many other bands that helped me through a time that was really hard for me.
I've been listening to AFI for twenty-ish.years now.
Ish because I knew a few of their songs before this album, twenty because this was when I became a big fan of theirs

Before they sold out. AFI was my very first concert. It was 1994 with Offspring just before Smash broke big. Last time I saw them was about 10 years ago and the didn't play a single Nitro Records song. I'll never forget seeing Davey do the " God walk" during God Called in sick. You can see the energy here and it was lost on the last show I saw. It was the biggest letdown concert I've ever seen. Everybody came out saying the same thing.
Man i feel ya. The best AFI show i saw was when they had just released the ep for Black Sails. They played Malleus Maleficarum and God Called in Sick, and he walked on the crowd. Everyone went fucking nuts. Great times...
@aaronl2212 my biggest concert regret is passing up seeing AFI just after Art of Drowning dropped. I was like, "I've seen em like 10 times, they'll be back" and they didn't come back to where I lived unitl December Underground was already out. I saw them and they had already stopped playing all the Nitro Records songs except Days of the Phoenix. I was so mad at myself

You'll be disappointed if you see them now. They don't play ANYTHING from this era. I saw them a little while ago and it was just awful now
