I've found this video 3 years after it was recorded and I absolutely love it . You are so entertaining and informative. York is one of my favourite places and i go every Christmas. I was just there at the weekend and have an amazing time as usual. Thank you so much ❤
Please don't take this video down, I have absolutely loved it and would like to rewatch it in the future! I also really want to visit York in the future. Stay safe and keep up with the amazing work!
Your doppelganger story sounds like mine from 2007. I was working at a woman's safe home shelter. I was working a 4 hour shift from 4-8pm. Before I left I said my goodbyes to several of the women residents. One of them said "Jessica saw you this morning". I said "really, where did she see me? Walmart?" She said 'No, she saw you here". I said "I wasn't here this morning. I was off til 4pm." She insisted, and called Jessica, who swore up and down that she'd seen me there that morning. She even described what I wore. I had a habit of doing a walkaround before I left each day. That's where she said she saw me, walking around the perimeter windows. The ironic thing is that as I was doing my errands that morning, I said to myself "boy, you sure can do alot in one hour". Little did I know I was in 2 places at one time.
Why have i not seen this before now its was great video and my girlfriend loved as well its her home town is york can't wait to see if you do any news ones in future
Absolutely loved it. I couldn't visit York this year - or England - due to Covid. This is a small but fantastic consolation. Hope to be back in 2021. I'll look out for the dancing White Lady, promise.
I've lived in York for the many years I've been alive, I didn't know most of what you were talking about, very very informative, and very very entertaining. Thank you.
Love this so much . Finally got on one of your tours last night . After wanting to do it for years and never managed it . I must say it was really good . Dante was our guide . I find this ghost history as o interesting . I especially love the history of the plague girl and 41 stonegate and 35 stonegate. Although didn't realise until last night that number 41 had ghosts . Been in the antique shop many times me and my son love having a look in there . Knew about 35 being that haunted house years ago ,always wanted to go in there when I was younger . Wish I had . Keep doing what your doing .it's brilliant.
I have recently visited York, but intend to return minus our four legged friend to take in the many tourist attractions. Your guide was excellent, witty and also historically interesting. You kept me entertained, well done sir and to your good lady too👍😃.
That was fabulous Mr & Mrs Deadly! Thank you! I've only ever been on one city ghost walk before and that was the one in Sheffield with Mr Penny Dreadful. Marvelous story telling in your video and I hope one day to be able to see it in person :)

Thank you muchly! Hopefully not too much longer, and once we're allowed out safely again I shall be spending my time filming every nook and crannie of the city. Hope you're well!
Thanks for the stories. Watching from Philippines.. 😊 I've actually been to York 15 years ago and always, always wanted to join a ghost tour, so thank you .🙏
This video popped up in my RUclips feed this very night. Dame Judy Dench lived in Acomb, where my Grandma grew up and if memory serves me correct, her father was a doctor. I also lived in York for many years and have some very spooky tales to share.
My mum sent me this link for fun, it was a great video full of history. Gate comes from Viking, in Sweden we have “gatan”, you are right it means street. Also “torp” which means “hall”, so we have Scunthorpe etc; and “by” meaning village - Whitby means white village. There is a Vitaby over here too.
Middle Feast is awesome. I tried my first shawarma there. :). The elderly gentleman who runs the restaurant is very friendly. Thanks for the video, I missed my chance to go for a tour as my travel mates chickened out.
Thanks! We’re doing this again live on our Facebook on March 22nd to mark 4 years since the 1st livestream. Absolutely mad that that much time has gone.
I actually went to York at the end of year 6 sats, and I got a tour of the ghosts story’s and all that but one, one really scared me, a girl in a small small house during the Black Death, her parents where sick, obviously as you know quarantine was a thing back then so she was locked in the house with her parents, but they where locked in separate rooms, she stayed there for nights and nights starving she could hear her parents next door screaming, boils all over there faces. She scratched and tapped on a small round window until she starved and died slowly. So that night as me and my class went back to the hotel we got on our pj’s and went to sleep. in our room we also had a small round window, I couldn’t go to sleep that night but as I turned round in my bed to look at it I saw a face in the window you could tell by the face it was a girl, black long hair and a long pail face, to my terror I snuggled down into my Duvet and hoped it would go away but then just then I heard tapping on the small round window. I was scared but I soon fell asleep, I don’t know how because I just blinked then it was the morning. I went home and every night I would see a pale girl with a long face and black hair sitting at the end of my bed for at least a month until it went away I never saw her again. She told me to lock your windows or I will come to seek the person she has one. Please if you read this please listen to her warning or she will find you.
Abit late only just watch this very interesting and informative when everything back to some sort of normality I’ll seek you ghost tour out next I’m in you fare city take care and good luck 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
