  • This is the 2ND Crosman SNR357 Revolver that has Jammed on my Dad after a couple weeks of use. This time he jammed 9-10 pellets in the barrel thanks to this rotation failure defect. Review is below.
Found out exactly why the Crossman becomes Defective after a few uses.
This Amazon Review right here explains everything perfectly but basically the reason WHY it fails to fire after a while is because the Factory cut out a piece of metal that wasn't supposed to be cut or removed at all. They also failed to Drill a hole where the Pin from the Cylinder should slip into. Instead you have two pieces of metal grinding against each other until the other gets worn out and the Pin from the Cylinder falls out of place, preventing it from rotating from the Hook after a Trigger Pull.
That piece of metal they cut out from the frame would have prevented the Pin from Slipping out of place, even without the hole that needed to be drilled for the Pin to stay secured in. But with BOTH of these Defects the Revolver was Bound to Fail over time. I would need to either weld or glue a piece of metal or something in place of the metal they cut from the frame that would have prevented the Pin from sliding out of place, Or Drill a hole big enough for the Pin to slide into in order to fix this.
And from what I've researched, Crossman no longer supports this revolver, I cant even reach the Parts sheet for the SNR 357 because it leads to an Error 404 Page.
