I love your videos, they show the simplicity of good, fast service, products used correctly, and good value product choices. It is not necessary to have a CARPRO arcenal to deliver a good job to our clients. Greetings from Chile!
I was just about to buy the Ceramic Wax for fun, as it was on sale in the UK, for around GBP 16, but as soon as went to the check-out, it went to GBP 20, so ditched the idea for the time being. Thanks for the review.
I've been using Bead Maker for the paint and Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic for any exterior plastic, vinyl and rubber. Same application, just on different parts
BTW, I love using the ceramic spray on my push mower after I clean it. I use residual products to clean and detail the mower. Cleaning it is a breeze now.
It can cause some marring if used without proper lubrication, That why I love using a high foaming soap to add lots of slickness and thick foam to cushion the clay mitt. I have found that even clay bars will mar anything to a degree, depending on the paint of course.👍🏼
I like both. Each have there pros and cons. I think the TW Spray coating is very easy to apply. But the Meg Hybrid Wax is a great drying aid and once the foundation layer is set all it needs is a spray and rinse method to layer it again. The TW is also easy to apply but needs dry application. But still super easy to use. Both are awesome
@@MirandaDetailing Yes but it is not in the case of a large preparation. So, no chemical decontamination of the bodywork? Is it only for quick protection like synthetic wax spray?
This is just a quick wash and wax. Not a prep for a polishing or anything else. If I was prepping for paint correction or polishing may use some iron decon or tar remover but only if needed. If the paint work does not need it I don’t waste time and product. For a mobile detailer it’s not advisable. That would eat up time and money. In a shop environment sure, I could charge more because I’m going further. I like to show a variety of options on my channel. From simple methods that work to more in-depth methods if one wants to go further. In the case of using the clay towel while washing...it’s great to quickly remove grit and smooth out the paint. Does it cause some marring...sure, very minimal as does all claying. But that’s fine for a simple wash and wax method. Some people I find overthink it. 😎👍🏼
@@MirandaDetailing Above all, with the lubrication side during washing, there is even less risk of creating micro scratches with the decontamination glove. How do you go about maintaining it? I'm talking about the decontamination glove.
Hey,great video . 1 question, are you washing the car with a wash mitt first ,and then back over with a clay towel or just with a clay towel for everything ?
Great video, short and informative! I do appreciate your older “full length” detailing videos as well! What do I use to get all the old leftover RainX off my truck so I can start over with the hybrid wax?
Thanks! I would use a strong degreaser like Super Clean or some type of Citrus degreaser or APC. If it still looks like there is left over protection use a light polish like M210 or M205 to remove anything else.
Hi. Well we usually dilute soaps by the gallon so we dilute 10:1. But if you are using a 32oz bottle 10:1 comes to about 3oz per 32oz bottle. It may seem like a lot but it dilute labor more when you use the foam cannon.
Hey Phil. Before I use the HD speed..I I have turtle wax ceramic coating on my truck, I put it on about three months ago. How should I go about this? Should I try to remove the ceramic with something. Any recommendations. Thanks. Joe
Hi. If you use a good strong shampoo and do a thorough apc rinse before it will weaken the spray coating enough that when you polish with 3D Speed it will remove any remaining protection, and leave its own.
Another great video Phil. I used the HCW on an older car that sits outside and it has performed pretty well. I am curious to see if the turtle wax ceramic spray would have more longevity since I have not been able to reapply the meguiars over the last few months during the winter here.
Thanks! I’m sure the TW Spray coating would outlast HCW but since they are so easy to maintain just a quick once over with either product will keep the protection healthy.
Well this is not my usual type of service. I did this for friends of ours. Our full exterior service would start at $150 but it would be more detailed than this. Check out our website www.mirandadetailing.com. Tons of info on there.
🤣 I wish! No. Jason who is part owner of Chicago Auto Pros does. Check out their channel! We partner up on these videos and he supplies us with products that we want to use and make videos on. We will also be one of the trainers for their detail clinic in Feb!!

A simple quick wash, application of a spray wax/sealant and dressed tires really goes a long way. Makes all the difference in the world.
Sure does! Thanks

Awesome!
I can't help it but I'm binge-watching all this guy's videos! #GREATNESS #SOGOOD
Looks outstanding but 1 question you dont rinse off the megs hybrid wax?? I didnt know u could lay it on like a tradiontional spray wax??
Thanks! I learned that it needs a foundation layer first to bond. Then to maintain it you spray and rinse off.
Miranda Detailing ok interesting i was applying wrong then thank u!!!
Always great to watch your videos Phil and learn some new tips and tricks. Happy NewYear to you both and the kitty as well.
Thanks!

Doesn't the clay towel introduce marring into the paint?
It can cause some marring if used without proper lubrication, That why I love using a high foaming soap to add lots of slickness and thick foam to cushion the clay mitt. I have found that even clay bars will mar anything to a degree, depending on the paint of course.👍🏼
Which do you prefer Hyb Ceramic Wax or TW Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Coating?
I like both. Each have there pros and cons. I think the TW Spray coating is very easy to apply. So you don't miss stuff🤣🤣🤣 i love.
I did not know this method of washing the bodywork and putting on the decontamination glove at the same time.
😎👍🏼. Yeah it quickens up the process I use it all the time.

Oh I see....Yes I rinse the clay towel or mitt very well and then either hang dry or place clay side up on my shelf to dry.

Hi. Thanks. I wash with the mitt first then the clay towel after.
Great video man! I gotta try hyperwash and HCW still.. seems like a killer combo! Take care Phil. 👍
Thanks man! Hyper wash is awesome stuff!

Great, can you please advise what is the dilution ratio for hyper wash in foam Canon?
Hi. Well we usually dilute soaps by the gallon so we dilute 10:1. But if you are using a 32oz bottle 10:1 comes to about 3oz per 32oz bottle. It may seem like a lot but it dilute labor more when you use the foam cannon.

Have you used the Mequiars Citrus Wash and Gloss???
Yes I have their Citrus Wash and Wax. I’ll be making a video on that soon! 😎👍🏼

Where can I get a brush like the one you use to apply meguiars hyper dressing to the tires
amzn.to/3gLQdtm
So which one is better the optimum power clean or super clean?
Hi. They preform the same in my testing. Both are great. I think this comes down to personal choice and budget.
Nice, what brush are you using to spread hyper dressing with.
Thanks. It’s this brush. amzn.to/35rPya5
Meguiars hyper wash VS meguiars ultimate wash and wax. ? What will be ur answer ?
Each has there place. I would use hyper wash from initial cleaning then use the wash and wax as the maintenance soap.
Another great video Phil. I used the HCW on an older car that sits outside and it has performed pretty well. I am curious to see if the turtle wax ceramic spray would have more longevity since I have not been able to reapply the meguiars over the last few months during the winter here.

Great video, thanks for sharing your tips and thoughts Phil!
Thanks sir!!
What do you use the stoner trim tire shine for thanks ,Love the videos great content !
Thanks...we use the trim shine on plastic parts that are hard to apply like plastic grills and windshield cowls.
Appreciate the response !
Why are these products and several others called " Hyper"?
Hi. Not sure. Just a name they picked. Maybe because they can be diluted.
Nice!!!💪 how much do you charge for that kind of service?
Well this is not my usual type of service. I did this for friends of ours. Our full exterior service would start at $150 but it would be more detailed than this. Check out our website www.mirandadetailing.com. Tons of info on there.
