Wow, you're such a good teacher. I like how you explained everything in a nice calm manner. Thanks for sharing, I'll be watching more vids. subscribed
Thanks so much! Welcome aboard!
Nice
I’ve been detailing for 20 years. This is probably the best straight forward wash n wax tutorial I’ve seen on RUclips. Great job
Thanks sir!!
Granted, sure it is the best, but does everyone that owns a mobile detail can afford all those products? I don’t, I only use one wax , soap, a cheap degreaser mixed with air freshener and water , armor all and glass cleaner . I have very satisfied customers
Exactly. I’m just demonstrating how to do certain things with different products. You don’t have to get the ones I’m showing, you can use whatever works for you. You can totally detail with simply and effective products. I like to show different methods and products so people can make their own choices. Wether they like to get higher end products or not it doesn’t matter. Use what works for you. We started on a budget and 10 years later we slowly upgraded to using other products.😎👍🏼
@@MirandaDetailing nice work bruh, I'm impress! What is the cost of a thorough job like that?
Hi. Thanks. Our full details start at $275
Man you're so direct. No annoying intros and self promotions. Just simple and straight to the point. I need more vids like this.
Thank you!!
Yup

Vince Vaughn details cars in his down time? Cool.
🤣
Haha I couldn’t pin point it till you mentioned it.
More handsome than Vince.
I'm seeing Matt Le Blancs less "Hollywood" cousin.
“How you doin’” 🤣
Thank god this guy isn't talking about nothing in the 5 minutes of the video. He gets straight to work and gives me motivation to keep doing this.
Thanks sir!!
@@MirandaDetailing YW. Meant to say "first 5 minutes of video" LOL
Best advice for anyone DONT OVER THINK THE PROCESS keep things simple 👌
K.I.S.S. = Keep It Simple Stupid
Pretty good! Personally I always start with my wheels, so I don’t run the risk of slinging brake dust and road grime back on the car that I just cleaned. The wheels are always the dirtiest part of the car
Lmao.
That’s a good point, I’ll keep that in mind
As a beginning detailer, I’m still trying to work on being more efficient and timely. Not into maintenance details yet, everything I’ve done has been full interior/exterior detail. I haven’t sold anyone on polishing yet, but that day is coming. Learned a thing or two today. Thanks for the video, great as always. Take care
Awesome!!! Keep it up sir and keep learning!!
@@MirandaDetailing - Have to admit that you explain things simple and clear. I'm a detailer too but I love watching other people's uploads.
Grtz,

Today is my first day with my mobile wash. I’m doing the most simple set up on a Astro van.seats removed from back, to make room for tank. Got the generator for a vacuum a power washer. And of course my chemicals with foam gun. Anyhow I’m doing this parked out in a park lot trying to get coustmers
I’m quite new to car detailing but I have been wanting to start my own business and I must say this video has fought me about some of the equipment I will use and the techniques I should use, we’ll done on those tires and rims btw they look absolutely fantastic 👍
Thanks 😎👍🏼
Did you or the video win the fight?
This guy deserves more credit and subscribers! . He give realistic scenarios for mobile detailing and common environments like outdoors in parking lots driveways etc.
I appreciate the fact that you try to answer every reasonable question in a reasonable time frame, unlike other detailing channels. That tells me you care about your viewers! 👍🏽👍🏽
Thank you so much! I really do care...maybe I little much...I tend to take some comments to personal. Oh well. 😎👍🏼
Well done, and you are correct Don't over think it....
I appreciate the respect for the English language given. Well done.
The clay mit during the washing process is a great idea. Going to add that to my arsenal!
be careful; it can scratch and you'll have to buff it out. ( happend to me)
Well I’ve had it mar up paint before. But deep scratching shouldn’t occur if your Lee wash stage is thorough like ours. Before any contact on the paint it must be rinsed and APC rinsed a best as possible. I’ve never had any issues with this process. But it does take some time to learn to be thorough. 😎👍🏼
Got to be one of the best tutorials I've seen
He shows a really easy a quick system to use spot on
For windows, I use a waffle weave towel with foam glass cleaner. Works wonderful and leaves no streaks
Just took a leap and started detailing. Nothing fancy with products but my fiery job came out pretty food
Haha i took leap too just said screw it and went out to get in debt 3000 now i just need to quit my job and focus on it goodluck man
I literally pretty much follow the same steps. Great job
Excellent video. I've switched to pretty much this method as the permanent way I do exteriors.
Thanks man!!
I enjoyed watching your video and would like to receive notifications to learn more.
Hi! Thanks. Click that subscribe and the bell! 😎👍🏼
Thanks Phil! Yes it's critical to rub/scrub/agitate the pillars, window rubber seals and all those areas, otherwise when you dry those surfaces, your drying towel picks up black grime from dirty greasy rubber and that's not fun to see or clean off the drying towel.
I usually don’t watch long videos but this one is really interesting and informative. New subscriber
Hi! Welcome aboard!
Excellent video! True on the wet wax much better than beadmaker and meguires spray wax on slickness and longer protection. Keep videos coming!
I'm thinking about starting a mobile car wash /detailing man your videos are inspiration ryt now
Congrats man!! And thanks!
Bro - Congrats!!! At first I though your video was wayyyy too long but you sure keep your audience well informed. And I like the fact that you "never" tried to push any particular brand. Great job...I'll be subscribing.
Thanks so much!!
This was fantastic. I don't believe in the two or three bucket method at all. Seems like detailer fluff. I did not consider an APC wash first. That is awesome! Save time and resources.
One of, if not, the only caveat to the two bucket method is that the “rinse” bucket becomes dirty after the first dunk. I was a bit skeptical too, but you simply have to wring out your mitt before refunding it into your clean soap bucket. Despite your rinse bucket looking absolutely filthy, you’ll find that your soap bucket is still clean
I’ve been washing and detailing my own cars and family rigs since I was a kid. But I have to say your video was awesome, I thoroughly enjoyed watching it, you are a very good teacher very natural. Keep up the great work. 👍
Thanks so much!
Great video. I agree with your methods. People, especially keyboard warriors, get caught up with right n wrong. Whatever works. Not everyone cares about cars like we do. Doesn't mean we don't be careful. Just means we do not need be very OCD. Thabks for the time you put in.
Exactly!! I have more on that in this weeks weekend wash video!! Look for that on Wed!
@@MirandaDetailing I'll be waiting. Fyi I use the 0 bucket method. I have a spray bottle diluted 1:9 with reset or hyper wash. I spray the mitt with soap, and than hose it. It foams the mitt and I do a panel. Flip and continue. Than just hose the mitt off to clean it, a couple of pumps of the sprayer than I repeat. I find that works fast too. Especially in direct sunlight when I can work a panel at a time. Just a thought. It may give U an idea.
That sounds like a great method!! Very cool!!
Great Job my man. I am have a large truck in the south US with zero shade and worry about keeping it water spot free. This video gives me confidence to do so.
Hello Phil. You pressure pump (AR) Is AN old Annovi Reverberi made in Italy, Modena, near Maranello (Ferrari). ;)
I do like your attitude on 'do not overthink' the process. They are daily drivers and oh, micro marring, means the owner will never pay attention to it. Most people will never even notice, yes you the driver of the silver or white car. I do like watching your videos, truth in motion.

Hey Phil, if you haven’t tried the Optimum wash, clay, wax method I highly recommend it.
Yeah Ive seen that. But the majority of vehicles we service are so nasty we need to wash in the traditional way. For lightly soiled well maintained vehicles I have used that method.
Your videos have improved over the years greatly!!!!!!
Thanks!

Many thanks for the video. I am not a detailer but want to know how to make my car look good. Thanks for sharing the sequence of what you do as that helps me a lot to understand the process..
You’re welcome!
This is a very well thought out procedure. Excellent 👍 for daily drivers. Impressed as always on how the new process's are so efficient and effective. Each of the products used show us how many great products are out there. The tool belt, clips and attention to detail really made my day. Also the waxing technique for water spots. Thanks for all your knowledge and experience. Your video production is literally one of the best by far.
Thanks sir!!
I recently discovered your channel and your quickly becoming my favorite detailing channel!!! I'm a diy weekend warrior and looking to learn more to up my game. Many channels push products to make money. Im a minimalist and hate needing so much equipment and different products, cleaners, supplies, ect ... Too easy to fall into a rabbit hole always looking for the next best thing. I plea with you to come out with more beginner simplistic videos that you give advice on what minimal equipment and specific methods and supplies you need to improve car detailing 90% better than the average person. I'm trying to create a car care routine that I can implement and use on a regular basis without constantly seeking out new improved methods and products. I'm looking for a tried and true simple quick and effective routine I can use for years to come. I really like the idea of doing a monthly maintenance wash, starting with a wash using a traffic film remover or best method to strip old wax/grease/film, followed by drying (not sure if towel vs leaf blower is faster as I'd prefer using just one method), followed by a wax and grease remover like duplicolor, followed by some type of paint sealant. My thought is to strip all wax each time I wash the car and then just apply a fresh coat of paint sealant after each wash. If I perform this routine 30 days I can have max protection and avoid needing frequent paint corrections. I figured doing a light clay with light polish correction once per year. What's your thoughts on this method and and suggestions would earn a long term new supporter!!!! Thank you!
Hi. Welcome aboard! That's some great ideas. i do have more simple videos also. I always give tips and advice in each video we do, even the longer ones are packed with info.
I totally get the keeping it simple when it comes to caring for your own vehicle so that it doesn't become overwhelming and expensive. I do focus on detailing businesses...But I love teaching anyone who loves to take care of their vehicle. But I'll definitely work on some videos like you mentioned.
Great video. Thanks for sharing. Man it still blows my mind how some of these new car panels are so thin. Especially the hoods. Great job 👍
Such a cool video, I like how they keep things simple and professional, using different products, thanks for the video!!!
What brushes do you use? I bought one with a wood handle from O'Reilly's and that sucker is losing hair faster than me.
We use a lot of work stuff brushes like these. WorkStuffBrushes. bit.ly/WorkStuffBrus
@@MirandaDetailing That link doesn't work. Found the link for the detail factory brush in the comments after I asked that because that's what I do, I ask first look/research later and waste other people's time. 🙄 Lol

@@marlenesanchez6370 The bitly link from Miranda Detailing?
I have offroad tires on my truck and I thought I've tried just about every method known to man to get tire shine on them but either kept ripping up foam pads or was getting way to much overspray with the spray shine or not enough shine but I never thought to use a brush to apply the tire shine. Man I cant wait to try that on my next wash.
Awesome!! I hope it works for you!
Great video with all in a slick synthesis
Xoxo from Puerto Rico 👍🇵🇷
Great video man. Thanks
Great video! I've had water spot problems washing a vehicle in this manner in direct sun. Though I haven't explored the protection options for removal.
Very good tips on all wash steps
Nice vid Phil. I do the same with the wash, but I add a few capfuls of ONR to the bucket just to add some lubricity.
Cool. I use a foam cannon. Wash with 4 mitts, rinse with power washer. Then final rinse with WORX Portable hotshot with distilled water. Air dry with no spots. I never cloth dry.
Then liquid quick wax, pick the one you like.
Bugs come off easy with Aero Cosmetics Wash Wax All. Waterless. Spray on wait about 3 minutes. Wipe with wet microfiber. Then wipe with dry microfiber
Awesome! Great technique!
I must admit I use alot of turtle Wax stuff specially the 3 in1 detailer spray
Great job thanks for sharing your experience
Great video as always. Packed full of good tips at all levels.
I hated wet wax. It was thick, oily, and streaked. Had to go back and rebuff. Now I love the quick detailer and the ceramic wax.
Wait which Wet Wax are you referring to?
Miranda Detailing turtle was ceramic, I tried it multiple times.
@@Me-ce7ep Oh wow, that's weird! It may have been a bad batch, It's not supposed to be thick at all...Its a watery spray..It's also not oily or streaky....That's very strange and it may have been either tampered with or a bad batch.
Miranda Detailing maybe... the qd is an awesome drying aid
You the man this is the fastest method i seen thanks!

Is car detailing hard to get into? I want to start my own buisness and start working and making money for myself. I’m almost 30 with a son on the way and I’m ready to use my own work ethic for myself rather than others. I’ve never waxed before but you made this whole job seam fool proof. Nice job!
Hi. It’s not difficult to get into but like any business it takes dedication and hard work to build it up and actually make money. Check out Detailing Workshop training
www.thedetailingworkshop.com
Best mobile detailing video I’ve seen yet! Great content!
Appreciate that!
Hey this was very helpful. Few questions
1. How long does the ceramic coating last, and whats the benefit other than water beading?
2. Will the polishing help with light scratches, and do u ceramic coat the entire car?
3. In the beginning stages of the degreaser is that just applied onto really dirty portions and wiped with clay mitt/bar or thr entire car?
Thanks for the video
Hi.
1. A true ceramic coating last years instead of months and makes the cleaning process much faster and easier.
2. Yes if we polish with a medium pad and polish it will reduce minor swirls and scratches and gloss up the paint. Yes when we ceramic coat a car it’s applied to all paint, the we have separate coatings for plastic trim and glass.
3. We degrease all the bottom portions and if necessary the tops of the vehicle also. Then we rinse it off to remove even more grime and traffic film. Then we wash and then clay mitt or clay-bar after or during the wash process.
@@MirandaDetailing sorry for all the questions. So the meguiars ceramic coating that you used was it applied on the whole vehichle? Was that considered the polishing phase? And how long will that protect that exact vehicle shown in the video?
No prob.
Oh the meguiars Ceramic wax is very easy to use. It can applied to paint plastic and glass. So yes the entire vehicle. It can protect 3-4 months depending on how you maintain it. You can even apply it after every wash and keep it topped off and protected.
@@MirandaDetailing thanks this helps a bunch. Ibe been trying to figure out this whole buffing, waxing, and polishing, its been all so confusing on what does what, what comes first.
You’re welcome.
So when “buffing” is what we cal compounding. That is usually the first step in removing swirls and scratches. It’s using an aggressive compound and pad combo with a polisher. Then polishing is the the refining step to remove any left over marring left from the compounding stage. Then your protection in the form of wax, sealant, or coatings is the last step.
Just respectfully pointing out that you missed some soap on the black patch below the front bumper left side. Proper job though boss. Big up yuhself .👍
Oh thanks. I also didn’t blow dry everything and dress those plastic areas like we usually do on film. I was trying to go through some processes to demonstrate. But good eye. 😎👍🏼
@@MirandaDetailing respect boss.👍

That AR pumps are a BEAST...
Hey Phil...Another great video with lots of great info and tips/tricks! Couple of questions that I’d like to get your thoughts on....When you’re doing an initial inspection of the vehicle and come across old harden (or white faded) wax either on rubber pieces or between plastic pieces what’s your thinking/planning to address? Do you suggest just using an APC on those areas and work it in with a detail brush? And if so, do you do that before, during or after the initial foaming? My thoughts are initial rinse, APC with a detail brush, rinse, then foam. But (other than time/effort) I’m not sure if that’s the right time/spot to address those areas or if it should be done as part of the foaming? I think that if you do it as part of foam (and no APC) then those built up areas (or white on rubber) don’t actually come off by the “normal” detail brushes in the tight areas that a mitt/sponge can’t get into. Any thoughts for someone who does overthink things too much?! 🙂. Again, great video - I love how much effort you put into them and how much you try to help other learn/understand!!! Thanks, John
Thanks! Yeah old wax residue I usually attack after the wash since it’s hard to see with the soap. I usually use IPA and a stiffer brush or the edge of a towel to remove that stubborn wax build up. Sometimes a toothpick and the towel helps also.
Great video 💯🌴🏖🇵🇷
“50 feet of hose” 😂 real lady’s man.
❓🤔❓
How am I 14 and understand this yet he doesn’t. 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
To foam up your buckets you should get a drill and a paint mixer attachment. Dallas paint correction did a video showing it I tried it liked it less splashing longer lasting suds
Sounds cool...but the foam cannon is faster and easier since I’m foaming up the vehicle anyway. But both methods can be used.
@@MirandaDetailing I actually never did that until I saw you do it. where you put the foam cannon in the bucket to foam it up that works better than just water itself good tactic to!

TW Ceramic Wet Wax is awesome!
I remember on another video I had seen that you had applied TW S&S and TW Ceramic Spray wax on the tires of an infinite SUV. Any updates on that?
Hi
Actually we did wash it again and the wheels did ok, granted it’s no true ceramic coating so the beading definitely dropped down on the wheels due to excessive heat and such. But they still cleaned up easily so that’s good! I have to search through my videos archives and see if I filmed any of that.
This is a Wow, video. Thanks.

how's business?
Phil, I am a non professional detailer, but I use Optimum No Rinse (ONR) for my maintenance washes. It saves time, money & water. I can wash about 10 cars with a gallon of mixture. I would think for mobile detailers, ONR would be a staple in your business?
Hi. I totally use ONR all the time, but more for glass cleaning and coating when needed. But we really don’t use it for rinseless washing. The vehicles we do are way to dirty for that. But I have also been using American Detailing Garages Wipe Out which is basically the same but better in my opinion.
