Overall, great, but the sides came out shockingly awesome. I don’t know if it was the lighting in the garage, but the sides look new. Thank you for the video.
Have you ever heard of shiny car stuff ? It’s a hand applied clear coat I’m afraid to try it but it looks incredible would be interested to hear your thoughts on this. Have seen people apply it to a vehicle like this and looks new after not sure how real it is though
Love your channel, what’s RUclips detail content creators missing? Actual detailing, and those that do it every week rarely do anything other than disaster details, I’ve been detailing since I was 29, I’m now 58, still detailing, not because I have to but because I love it, I’ve never done a disaster detail in my career… weird or not?
Thank you, Phil, for the great video and review of the products in this month's GloveBox! I really have enjoyed Pure:est and think I will be trying more of their products out!
I wish he would've addressed how his chemical left a terrible film on the hood at 10:27, instead he covered it up with a towel. From what I've seen, I doubt he did that on purpose, but it would've been a great way to see what happens if you don't thoroughly rinse the product off.
Hi. It didn't leave a film on this vehicle, but I did use it on another vehicle and found it left a residue if it dries a little on the paint. Sorry I didn't get to film that but I did want to warn people about it.
Phil just wanted to say after dealing with a death in the family your videos were exactly what i needed to relax de-stress and escape all while learning. Appreciate You Phil!!
i had to do a Peugeot 208 CC convertible first wash .than lots of soap and a clear bar go around the 207 and this it was a sponge . this is a restoration for classic cars .after 2 days did the same and man its slick a bottle slide of in a second and see change
Would the IK foam pro 9 work well for rinseless washes as well? I want to use a sprayer to pre-treat with rinseless wash, but it would also be nice to have it foam for pre-spraying with traditional car soap as well
the front bumper, the clear coat is peeling off. Is there anything that can be done just to put a little protection on areas where there is the clear coat coming off?
The shoes man, the shoes! 😂😂 It’s becoming a thing now that I look to see what kinda shoes you’re wearing. Don’t stop, just an observation.👍🏻 Till the next one.

Thanks. I know right?! 😎👍🏼
Another awesome video. Fun to see an older car get the same kind of love and is the newer ones or fancy ones.
Thanks! 😎👍🏼

Yeah I bought it and tried using it like the guys demonstrated. Didn’t really work that well for me.
Well said as always .sometimes putting lipstick on a pig is fun as ur not worried about scratches, etc.
Phil your edits are 💯. Its all about the details
Thanks! 😎👍🏼
I like using my old and or lower quality products, towels, etc.
Funny haven't applied really anything by hand ever since u taught me that trick few years ago

Phil, is good to see you still using the SPTA DA polisher
Hi. Oh yeah! We have been using them for over 4 years now.
Yay! An older, 1st Gen Tundra!
Incredible work, I always learn something from you.
Thanks!
Great video Phil!! Always fine work my friend... Oh, and I love that red towel you used to dry off the truck 😉

Great job!!!
Sweet gives me inspiration.
Totally! “You can do it!” (Read this like the guy from the Adam Sandler movies, it’s more meaning that way) 🤣😎👍🏼
Great job, thanks for the info and advice
Thanks for watching!
Are window gaskets/seals on old vehicles to fragile to use Super Clean? Got an old one coming Thursday. Hi wife!
Hi. Yeah on really old cracking and deteriorating rubber and plastic seals I would be gentle. Super clean diluted 1:20 will be ok.
What happends if you put a ceramic coating where there is no more clear coat??
Hi. Unfortunately nothing. Once the clearcoat is gone that area needs repainting. Bare paint like that will just fade and start to fade away.
What a banger! 🔥
Thanks!
What spray style water spot remover is your go-to? Really enjoy the videos!
The most effective is the thick gel type like the 3D eraser gel.
Would the IK foam pro 9 work well for rinseless washes as well? I want to use a sprayer to pre-treat with rinseless wash, but it would also be nice to have it foam for pre-spraying with traditional car soap as well
Yeah you can totally do that. Some detailers use the pro 12 with a rinseless in it also.
@@MirandaDetailing awesome, thanks for the advice!
I like the t shirts you have been wearing 👍 would you have any links please?
Hi. Thanks. I have merch links in the description. I'll put them here also. miranda-detailing.creator-spring.com/
Curious your gloss polish process, you just using a light polish/pad and quickly giving it a pass or two and removing marring + bringing gloss out?
Hi, yeah exactly. Just a quick few passes and that’s it.
Spreading managed democracy and liberty through detailing! 💪🏻
Somebody knew what it was!!! I was waiting to see who recognized it! 🤣😎👍🏼. Love Helldivers 2
Question, can you use meguires quick detailer for the clay lubricant phase before polishing and ceramic coating phase?
Hi. Yes you can. You will be polishing away anything applied to the paint anyway so it’s fine.
@@MirandaDetailing Awesome! Thanks
Info packed video 👍but where's kitty ??
Thanks. She's happily sleeping as we slave away working for her lifestyle. 😆
the front bumper, the clear coat is peeling off. Is there anything that can be done just to put a little protection on areas where there is the clear coat coming off?
Hi. Nope, trying to protect it with a was is useless, It just needs to be repainted.
I need details on those wheels! What are they off of? 4Runner? Taco? Those would look great on my 2004 Tundra.
Hi. The owner bought them when we bought this truck. Pretty nice wheels right? 😎👍🏼
The shoes man, the shoes! 😂😂 It’s becoming a thing now that I look to see what kinda shoes you’re wearing. Don’t stop, just an observation.👍🏻 Till the next one.
I know Right?! 😆
Nice work!
How many passes do you usually do with your gloss enhancement polishes? Or does that depend on the paint or pad/polish combo more?
Hi. Usually just 2 quick passes. Pretty much like applying a wax or sealant. Just to get even coverage.
@@MirandaDetailing awesome. Thanks!
Banger! How did you get that much spray from your IK 12?
Thanks! I always get that much foam, its awesome. I use Super Clean 1:10. I use the air compressor to pump it up.
Phil how do you like your spta products? I see they are on amazon and far less expensive than most. But they seem to work great. Thank you!
Hi. We love th4 SPTA cordless Polishers! I have been using them for over 4 years now.
Wow that’s great. Well you just sold me one!! Thank you!
Love those kicks
Thanks!
He’s humming today, must be the blue high tops
Totally! 😎👍. Do you know WHAT i'm humming though? 😆
@@MirandaDetailing nah, didn’t pay it that close attention,?was mesmerized by the high tops🤪
@@MirandaDetailing is it the helldivers 2 launch loading music? Or am I crazy?
🤣😎👍🏼
Yup. Big fan! 🤣😎👍🏼
What is considered a Disaster Detail???
No not at all. It wasn’t bad.
First!!!
