I wouldn't imagine any other monarch to receive well-meaning applause as their coffin drives by. Someone like the Queen will never be seen in our lifetimes again.

HM's remains would have been the most precious cargo in living memory and the journey would possibly have been fraught with danger. I still believe there were other arrangements made to absolutely ensure HM's remains were buried in Windsor.
I am wondering why Old Jug Ears didn't have his mother's coffin flown to all the countries in the Commonwealth? I mean they dragged it thru Scotland and England after all. Why not add another 51 or 52 countries to the repitoire.
