This 2 are very cruel and he marry his mistress with no respect to his young sons Charles don’t deserve any respect or grief form the public who remembers what he and his mistress Cowmilla did .

      A queen regnant is a monarch. A queen regent is the adult guardian of a child monarch and rules in their stead until that child comes of age. So, like, if for some reason Prince George finds himself crowned king at the tender age of 9, the queen regent's job would basically be holding the throne for him.

    @sasasasue 9 дней назад +1

    I don't want to be a pedant, but there are many casual mistakes in this video.
    As many earlier comments say; please at least get the flag correct. It's basic British knowledge. Similarly: Regnant/regent. Coronation/crowned. Westminster Abbey/Hall.
    My personal qualms were "businesses will shut down": No, no they won't. There is a period of mourning, but shops/businesses didn't generally shut down.
    There are very precise instructions for such occasions and this video doesn't include specific nuance that anyone in Britain will have experienced previously.
    It feels like an "easy content" video, where research has been half done. Even worse, when we literally went through a similar operation a few years ago (which is even mentioned), yet the video is still wrong.
    I mean, there are already articles all about the specifics involved.
    Like the announcements of death; sign on Buckingham gates is correct, half mast flag is correct, but past that, there are official royal correspondents who disperse this information, in a very specific way.
    I could go on, but will stop this pedantry here.

    1. Queen REGENT is very different from a REGNANT. Elizabeth was a Queen Regnant, the Monarch, the Sovereign. A Regnant is not even a Queen or King because he/she is merely a "caretaker" while the King or Queen is still a minor/incapacitated, etc.
    2. Crowned, not coronated.
    3. Westminster Abbey is different from Westminster Hall.
