I watched as closely as I could as events unfolded, and the video was spot-on. There was a video of people in a pub, relaxing and kicking back, a television playing a soccer game in the background, and all of a sudden it went black for an inordinate amount of time; then the royal crest appeared. Some lady immediately shrieked, "Shut up, all of you! The Queen's dead!" The place went silent as the ensuing broadcast proved her right.

Not always a female regent is a Queen, though. If, say, Prince William dies before King Charles, and the King dies thereafter, then Catherine would remain a Princess, once her husband never ascended to the throne, but would still be entitled to be regent for her son.

One correction- in terms of coins and banknotes. Its likely that the coins bearing the image of Queen Elizabeth will be in circulation for decades. Prior to decimalisation in the 1971 there were still coins in circulation bearing the image of Queen Victoria and King William IV albeit it was much more common to find coinage of the more recent Kings and Queen.
So its entirely likely we will still find coins of Elizabeth II well into the reign of the Prince George or his children.
Banknotes they will slowly be recyled in about 20 years, and commemorative stamps (ie those special edition stamps like of dogs and the red arrows which bear the silhouette of the late Queen) will still be in use until the run out and end up in folks stamp collections.

In saying that its common for coins to last far longer than notes, even the US has coins still in circulation from over 100 years ago. The earliest 1c Wheaties date back to 1909.

I THINK I Just realised why Royal funerals are often be eg “XXXX BRIDGE”. Very clever! A bridge covers a span… crossing from one side to another eg a river, land etc. Reflecting more deeply on this idea, might it be because it marks a transition… for the Queen RIP, her funeral marked, some might think spiritually, of it as her taking leave of London… hence “Operation London Bridge”… It follows then that, preparations for Charles’s funeral, (remember he spent most of his life known as “The Prince of Wales”) be called “Operation Menai Bridge”… once an analyst, always an analyst… 🤔

I don't want to be a pedant, but there are many casual mistakes in this video.
As many earlier comments say; please at least get the flag correct. It's basic British knowledge. Similarly: Regnant/regent. Coronation/crowned. Westminster Abbey/Hall.
My personal qualms were "businesses will shut down": No, no they won't. There is a period of mourning, but shops/businesses didn't generally shut down.
There are very precise instructions for such occasions and this video doesn't include specific nuance that anyone in Britain will have experienced previously.
It feels like an "easy content" video, where research has been half done. Even worse, when we literally went through a similar operation a few years ago (which is even mentioned), yet the video is still wrong.
I mean, there are already articles all about the specifics involved.
Like the announcements of death; sign on Buckingham gates is correct, half mast flag is correct, but past that, there are official royal correspondents who disperse this information, in a very specific way.
I could go on, but will stop this pedantry here.

oh PLEASE dear U.S. friends try to understand this 😅
REGENT is when the Queen Consort (or anyone else) temporarily holds the power in the absence or incapacity of the Monarch
REGNANT is when the Queen is the Monarch herself.
Elizabeth II was never Queen Regent, she was Queen Regnant
Example : imagine Charlotte becomes Queen REGNANT (as in, the Monarch). If she inherits the Throne after William dies and Queen Consort Catherine is chosen to rule while her daughter Charlotte is still a minor, then Catherine would be Queen Regent FOR her daughter the Queen Regnant. She would also be the dowager Queen; as the former Queen Consort.
    Regent ≠ Regnant
