I love bro how you're there more than you know in a manufacturers are and you're doing more than what I manufacturers are you know you're out there testing and put in our cars to the limit for us and this is just so great you have no idea
Those earplugs seem to be a popular item in the bashing world right now. Question: If you lift either the front or rear end off the ground while keeping the other end planted and squeeze the throttle a little - will it allow power to the end in the air?
I had it down at the motocross track and it works awesome it puts so much power to the wheels instantaneously and so far it’s holding up great I’ve ran it probably six times now.
Hey. After you put the ear plug in the center diff. Did you notice that after you let off the throttle the truck slowed down. I mean did the truck not free roll as easy? Definitely saw better performance. But the resistance when let off the throttle. Is this normal? Because of the ear plug.
To be honest I’m not sure how that would work? There would need to be a lot of height put on it and I’m not sure about the wing? But I would definitely be interested to see if it works. .
I’ve had it in there in some cars for over a year before I ever check it again and maybe put a little bit more in it works great and distributes the power a lot better
I put plugs in brand new K6s Almost instantly heard loud clicking in the front differential when braking and now when launching. Do you have any suggestions?
I did it yesterday and put the silicone earplugs in the outcast, it is awesome you can carry wheelies forever. And do standing backflips but it’s not too ridiculous LOL
@@BarstoneRC no problem. I wish I had people in my area to consult before I do stupid things with a 600 dollar toy car but this is the best I got. I’ve wanted to lock my center diff for a while just didn’t know if it was actually safe or not. My older brother works in aerospace manufacturing and he’s taking some stock parts of mine and remaking them out of aircraft aluminum.
Bars&tone RC if the outcast doesn’t double backflip then I will be disappointed. Could it double backflip off something like a ledge or a downwards hill?
What’s strange is the backflip a lot easier on the ground but it doesn’t affect it a lot when they’re already in the air. I might try putting heavier differential grease in the front in the rear and that might change that? It really seems like it just puts a lot more power to the tires immediately.
Bars&tone RC yeah however I wouldn’t make the front and rear diff fluid too thick because when the car turns the outer wheels have to do more rotations and locking out the front and rear diff could prevent it from driving properly
Are you still preferring Your plugs in the center differential? Have you found more breakage’s happening anywhere in your vehicle since doing this modification? Broken pins or planetary gears? Or has this just been “love it all around” mod? Sub’d ya! 👍😎😆
@@BarstoneRC hey brother!! Just doing A quick follow up regarding silicon earplugs. Still finding that it is your preferred way to run it. Is it putting on any unwanted wear anywhere? Have you kept it, or switched back?

Thanks buddy I really appreciate that!
Now I'm 💯%vape and RC's go together hand to hand
Whoa that was crazy with the silicone ear plugs on the KRATON!!
I just subbed to you
Thanks buddy I really appreciate it! Yeah I just did it to the outcast also and it is crazy the power it transforms to the wheels
@@BarstoneRC yes I'm checking out your videos now😉🙋♂️👊👊👍👍🤙🤙
Nice work son a true Rc engineer 💪🏽🏆👍🏽
Thanks buddy! LOL I did it to the outcast now and it’s amazing
Those earplugs seem to be a popular item in the bashing world right now. Question: If you lift either the front or rear end off the ground while keeping the other end planted and squeeze the throttle a little - will it allow power to the end in the air?
I haven’t tried doing just that but from driving it it seems it’s just sending the same amount of power to the front and rear
Nice video and 2 thumbs up on the smoke effect lol
Thanks buddy! I’m at the track right now breaking everything apparently. Lol
I was told you want to leave a little bit of the original oil before you add the earplugs
It doesn’t really matter but it will breakdown the plugs a bit
You have great videos. How did you get the kraton6 to turn that well? If you have time Newbie here. Thank you.
The stock servos are terrible and slow upgrade that and it helps alot
Wow!! That's amazing. Silicone ear plugs in diff. 😳
Did you take to bmx track??
How did it go on.??
If works that's a great idea. 🤔
I had it down at the motocross track and it works awesome it puts so much power to the wheels instantaneously and so far it’s holding up great I’ve ran it probably six times now.
@@BarstoneRC that's amazing. Where did you come up with that idea. 👍
There was other RUclipsrs I’ve seen do this on some different cars and figured I would try it on mine and it seems to work pretty nice.
I turned my notorious punch up to 7 and can do standing back flips stock
Yeah with that turned up the whole way it’s a back flipping monster
Should I do the Typhon like that or wait until I stretch it first then do the diff ear plugs?
Hey. After you put the ear plug in the center diff. Did you notice that after you let off the throttle the truck slowed down. I mean did the truck not free roll as easy? Definitely saw better performance. But the resistance when let off the throttle. Is this normal? Because of the ear plug.
It does slow the roll a little
lol nice backflips
Thanks bud
You should only put those in teh front diff
Whats the difference between 20 million oil and ear plugs? Im thinking they are similar but plugs are a bit thicker.
Yeah, they’re a little bit heavier and cheaper and I think easier to put in
i just did this too mine and i blew the rear diff in like 10 mins if you have this problem ADD EXTRA SHIMMMMSS
I always shim the diff’s first thing. No matter what is in the center diff.
@@BarstoneRC yea i still need to fix it i think the diff internals are done or a drive cup snapped
Should you only put the earplugs in the center diff?, Not the rear
Yeah just the center is really
How does this hold up long term? Does it chew the ear plugs up and go back to normal? Might try it in my 2wd slash.
The earplugs hold up very well I’ve had ones in there for two years and they still are working great
What type of tires are you running? Great video btw.
I have the 6s Dboots backflips on
Hey how’s it going just seeing if you had to switch out the ear plugs yet
No I’ve been running them on all of my cars and they work out great
What punch did you have it on driving at the end? Just the 4 out of the box or up to 9?
Stock setting
If I add body amounts to the Typhon you think that the outcast body will fit on it
To be honest I’m not sure how that would work? There would need to be a lot of height put on it and I’m not sure about the wing? But I would definitely be interested to see if it works. .
I'm thinking about sounds this to my Kraton as well....how long does that trick last in the center diff? Just curious
I’ve had it in there in some cars for over a year before I ever check it again and maybe put a little bit more in it works great and distributes the power a lot better
@@BarstoneRC sounds like a solid mod to do....I like the power distribution it seems to give to the rear. Thanks for the feedback
No problem
Nice man! don´`t just bash. Blast!!!!!
Absolutely bud! Truck is a beast now.
@@BarstoneRC i want to put 200000cst in the middle but after this i put silicone earplugs in my kraton. Thumbs up bro!
Thanks bud I really appreciate it! The other benefit to the silicone earplugs is you don’t have to worry about your differential leaking LOL
I put plugs in brand new K6s
Almost instantly heard loud clicking in the front differential when braking and now when launching. Do you have any suggestions?
Front diff gear has some broken teeth.
Clicking under power is rear diff. Clicking under break is the front.
@@BarstoneRC awesome 👌 analysis and 100% correct
So as long as I do it in the 6s line I'll be good
Yeah just pack the center differential and you will be good
Hows it holding up? Should I do that to my Kraton with the Max 6 in it?
Definitely, it helps transfer that power equally and you get less ballooning
@@BarstoneRC Think I may have to try it for sure then.
Outcast makes a lot of wheelie on stock, if you put silicon ear plug into it will become a crazy devil?

No not at all it honestly, didn’t change it much for correction in the air. Still pretty much the same
@@BarstoneRC standing backflips with everything stock except earplugs in deff?
Yep all stock
Omg do the typhhon
I’m a little late to your video but how are the ear plug holding up. I wanna do this to my kraton
It’s been holding up and working very well. Thanks for watching man

What weight do you run in front and rear diffs?
50k front and 100k rear.
Right on... gotta change my fluids.. Ill give that weight a try and see how it runs. Think right now it has 20k front 50k rear 100k center.
Yeah he will have less ballooning going on in the front tires especially
Can I hear plug the typing too
Is it the 3S or the 6S? I only earplug now the center diff on the 6S cars.

18 tooth.
