      @@dodiiidris There can be many solutions:
      - use a slightly larger torx insert, you have to hammer it in, once all the teeth have locked in you should be able to unscrew it
      - you can cut it with a dreemel and then unscrew it with a normal slotted screwdriver
      - you can buy a screw extractor, it is very useful in all occasions, for example www.amazon.it/Estrattore-Estrattori-Adattatore-Danneggiati-EX01/dp/B097PCQ2YY/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?__mk_it_IT=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&dchild=1&keywords=svita+viti&qid=1629128782&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExVFc2VUxFV1RWR1ZRJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwODAzOTA3MU1PMzE0MjJDOE5MSyZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwODUyOTI3QkcySjVEVTFXNjNZJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfYXRmJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==

    Do you think maybe you are using way to much threadlock. Maybe switch to purple instead. Seems overkill. Otherwise good vid. Prob would have put some lube on the output cup shaft before you insert it thru the seal but otherwise good. Especialy warning of oring swelling. Your hear your voice even if bad english but good none the less. Liked.

      Hi friend I am very pleased that you enjoyed the video, and I also hope that it was useful to help you, the timing for when to do it is not precise, let's say, it depends on how long you use the car and how.
      For example I have done the center differential more than a year and it is still fine, then turning the tires by hand you can hear if the differential turns too soft or still has strength

      @@drrcstunt like in a normal car they say replace the gear box oil every 1000 miles to prolong the life of the grinding parts..i guess it the same for the moving parts of a rc vehicle. Ie the differential oil or whatever it is...i was just wondering because it would be tedious doing it every 10-20 runs..

    • @drrcstunt
      @drrcstunt  4 года назад

      @@nosh121081 Yes, every now and then you have to change it, because even this type of oil wears out and loses its effectiveness, and also always check that there are no leaks, otherwise you risk demolishing the differential.
      But then one depends on how he uses the rc, in the sense that if one does the races, he replaces it every race or every two, to ensure that the vehicle is always prepared for maximum performance.
      But it can be checked even less frequently, if one likes to turn around every now and then in the garden.
      what do you do with RC?

    • @drrcstunt
      @drrcstunt  4 года назад +2

      HI friend I'm David, meanwhile, welcome to this world of rc 🙂you'll have a lot of fun.
      Why did I do it? simply because I need a much more responsive car.
      Since you're new, I'll explain a little thing, each their own rc the modification based on the use that one wants to make of it.
      I practice bashing (in a nutshell stunts of all kinds and mega jumps), so I need a very reactive car and the stiffer oil in the central differential gives me the opportunity to make the car much more reactive in the air.
      If you are new to the sector etc. I suggest you to use it as original as it drives very well, the more responsive the car, the harder it is to drive.
      in my channel I also have other videos on Kraton 8s, if you may be interested, then soon I will post some more.
      If you need help all you have to do is ask 👍🙂

    Does anybody know where to get quality 3.5x16mm countersunk screws for the center diff??? I took my brand new one apart on recommendation to check for lube/fill amount and every one of those screws is junk. I ended up drilling out the heads and having to buy the red center portion to replace the old one because the screw studs are locktighted in too tight. This happens to me twice on a BRAND NEW never ran kraton 8s. Why on EARTH do they have such crappy screws holding that diff together?
    If anybody knows where to get good screws for this please let me know. I have two diffs now with stripped out screws. Shame on arma!

    • @drrcstunt
      @drrcstunt  Год назад +1

      Hi friend, I understand your problem very well, I did the same thing, I split the screw inside, the real problem is that they put too much threadlock of the screws where they tighten in the aluminum, eventually they don't unscrew anymore and split🤬.
      You have to heat them up the first time when you unscrew them with the blowtorch and make them hot, then you unscrew them, after that you better throw the screws away and put new ones in, I solved it that way, now I don't have any more problems
      Thanks for watching bud 👍👍
