I started to think of LT as the monster from the Alien movies. His speed, approach and aggressiveness were frightening. If you watch him, from snap he pursues at a constant shallow angle to the field as if he is about to make a tackle and plays that way to point of contact. At no point does he let up or become even remotely vertical. Tough as nails - he went into each and every play like he was going to own it. Both of my sons played primarily D in their pee wee and HS days, and it always exciting whenever they were lucky enough to pull "56" from the jersey pool.

L.T.'s bust in canton should've been of him sacking Ron Jaworski. LMAO, he must've done it a good 15-20 times.

Jaws was scared of him, story Eagles in camp goes as follows… jaws always tried to find LT before the snap and he can’t find him… he’s looking around trying to change the play and he can’t, ends up using a T.O. Turns out LT was on the sideline getting a breather. Very next play LT is in and gets a sack on him.😂🤣😂

He sacked Theismann a number of times, too. That last one ended Joe's career.

There are a few players who I can say who had absolutely zero fear on the field. LT is at the top of that list. I'm a 49ers diehard fan.

LT was the best and most dominate player to ever play sports. I am so happy I watched his whole career. The stuff he did was one of kind. We are always looking for the next LT. And it will always be that way because there will never be another LT. Scared the bejesus out of people.
