And he could potentially claim that he was in one which is why he committed the murders. I think it's just to be certain he is all there at the time. I think they said this is the day after the murders and they wanted to get that part out if the way so they can throw his ass in jail asap. @@charlesswenson259Not true. Once you ask for an attorney, the questioning is supposed to stop until counsel is present. IF the alleged person keeps talking after the fact is on him or her.

@charlesswenson259 on a case like this when they "had it wrapped up", why would you risk anything to not have him locked up? She's taking the case personally. She wants the credit. Her ego is like 99% of the cops I've come across in my 38 years.

This guy is a low POS but that's exactly the mindset that gets good cases thrown out on a technicality, aka amendment violations. You do not continue questioning someone who has invoked their right to have an attorney present. Only they can revoke that demand, and if they never do so you can't keep questioning them. You're supposed to stop and make them definitely state they want an attorney present or not and then cease the questioning if they do.

When he asked for a lawyer they should stop because anything that they ask and if he answers can be omitted from court because he asked for a lawyer, he’s guilty but you want to put him in jail and not have no reasons for him to try and appeal his case.

They were supposed to end the interview. Even though she was “expressing herself” they still allowed the suspect to respond AFTER he requested an attorney. Said comments made by the suspect after the request “can and will be used against” him in a court of law. Great episode tho.

Narrator: "he claims to live with (family), but not his girlfriend whom he has a baby with, as much as the two claim to be engaged to be married, something must have been horribly wrong so that the two weren't living under one roof"
Dude, have you seriously never known any couples that didn't live together, especially before being married? You need to let us know what your expertise in psychology, law, or criminal justice is or stop with these terrible narrations that don't add anything to the video and don't make sense.

There are several pieces of misinformation in the narration, stated as though they were true. Why? For example, a low IQ-score has nothing to do with an "insanity defense" (Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity).
