    2 cups water to every 1 cup quinoa. Bring water to a boil. Simmer 12-15min with lid. Let sit for 5 minutes without lid. Fluff with fork & serve. PERFECT!

      The gospel (good news) for lost souls:
      Jesus Christ is the only way to Heaven, there is no other way! You only have to believe in what Jesus Christ did for you on the cross at Calvary, He died for the sins of the whole world and that's including you, so why not live for Him?
      It's all about Jesus Christ's precious blood - Romans 3:25 - Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in His blood, to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
      1 Corinthians 15:1-4, saves lost souls when you truly believe from your heart. Jesus Christ paid the death penalty in our stead and nailed it to the cross. Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
      Ephesians 1:13, saved and sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise.
      Heaven and Hell are real, literal places, there is nothing in-between. Choose your eternal destination wisely for your soul.
      Time is running out, tomorrow is not promised.

    Nice, but RINSE IT. 3-4 mins under cold water, in a mesh strainer to clean it before cooking gives the optimal results and gets rid of the bitter taste.

    1. Do you put the water and the quinoa in the pot together or do you put the water in first, let it get to a boil, and then pour in the quinoa?
    2. Do you put the lid on it only when you reduced it to a simmer?
    3. Do you let it rest those five minutes with the lid on or off the pot?

      I follow the instructions on Kirkland (Costco) Organic Quinoa bag: Since it's pre-rinsed, I add it to a stainless pan, fire on high and dry roast it. I then carefully add 2 cups of water per cup of Quinoa, bring to a boil again, spoon in some vegetable broth powder, mix, then cover it to a low boil for 15 min. Let it stand with the fire off for 5 mins, then fluff. Cheers!

    This is a nice video showing how we can use quinoa in the easiest form and we can get a fail-proof method to cook quinoa. I also cook the quinoa in the same way but I add veggies and a few spices to it and make a tangy-spicy version of quinoa. I use true elements quinoa and their results are amazing so far. I have heard it is best to soak over night so they start the germination process, making it easier for your digestive system to break down and absorb, and also to help remove the chemicals the plant makes that can destroy your gut lining over time, leading to leaky gut and autoimmune diseases..
