Street Photography in Tokyo, Exploring Asakusa with the Fuji X-Pro 3 and Laowa 9mm F2.8
Once again I explore a district of Tokyo to do some street photography and take some candid snaps. This week I am venturing into the Edo throwback area of Asakusa, exploring the area around the Sensoji temple and surrounding streets and soaking up some of its old-style Tokyo energy
Armed with the FUJI X-PRO 3 and the Laowa 9mm F2.8 Zero D I aim to take a unique wide-angled look at this stunning part of the city, whilst giving you my own personal take on the history of the area
Join me on my photo journey as I give you my unique tour of the area coupled with plenty of POV street photos.
All images were shot RAW then edited in capture one Pro. I used Fuji's Acros profile as a starting point, then adjusted levels, and added a vignette to try and get a nice high contrast black and white look to the images.

Hey buddy great video. I have the same combination of camera and lens and just wondered about your focusing for these shots? Were you set at infiniti for all the shots or were you using focus peaking? Thanks again for a great video. A brit in Canada.

yes if i remember right I was shooting at around f11ish and just zone focused, that way the camera is just like a point and shoot

By the way, Asakusa Temple's fortune(Omikuji) is most likely to draw "BAD FORTUNE" in Japanese temples. So please rest assured :)
