It's a strong and good man who gets involved in the raising of his children. That goes for any one anywhere around the world. I'm glad this young man took a public stand on it by brining his babies right into the powwow dancing with him and having a positive influence on others. Way to go! :-)
My father would come to visit me and would see something useful I'd made and ask me, "Where'd you get that?" and I'd say, "I made it." He'd say, "How did you learn to do that?' and I'd say, "I learned if from you! What are you, senile?"
Awsome awsome!! Mothers anf fathers should know: you are the first and most powerful teacher in life of your kid, you could be a respected leader of 1000 people but when you've treated your own kids bad
...you aren't good leader at the end
Blessings to you guys: 😍 your channel!

That got me misty eyed. Good dad
You should do a Native Elders React episode.
Yes!
Yesyesyesyes
I put on these videos infront of my uncle who is 59 years old and he didn’t even react to the videos or look at them lol.
Yes! Please, see this!
You should awesome videos
Fathers dancing with their babies - most excellent!
🙏🏽
It’s like in my home town Mexico , you will see native women with their toddlers strapped on theirs backs with rebosos.
@@rolac6109 Saw that in Mérida.
Is that safe for the baby? Could it cause an injury to the brain of a baby that is not developed yet?
@@free22 only if violently shook, a gentle rocking will do no harm just don't shake the baby.
I came across your channel a few weeks ago, fell instantly in love (aging white woman). Husband and I spent the next several days watching every video we could find of yours, Patrick. We realized how much American civilization has lost not being taught native history, culture, and wisdom mainstream. Maybe that will begin to change soon. We wish you would do a biography video of how you came to be a hoop dancer. Your joy is so appreciated in a world with too much division and mistrust. May Creator God bless you greatly and give you long and peaceful years.
Navajo have thankfully stayed with their history. Weren't separated so thoroughly. Blessings; A-ho.
Same!!!!
Devon dancing with his babies and the message he has been given to tell/spread made me cry tears of joy! Thank you.
I thought when I saw him dancing, "Now THAT'S a Dad!"
Agreed !!
Devon, I am proud of you and I'm sure your family is as well. God in Heaven has blessed you indeed. Thank you also, Patrick and Jacob.
Soooo cute Devin.
Beautiful love ♥️♾🌬🌀👑
Loved seeing the baby being carried during the dance.
Heart-warming, definitely..... 💗💗💗
That was precious!
I was at a powwow once my oldest son was just a baby little blond-haired blue-eyed baby in my arms and this woman took him from me and danced around the circle with him I thought it was so sweet
Absolutely!❤

Thank you Devan for your example of what a Warrior Man is!!!
I'm glad I don't have to hunt for food these days, I don't even know where fry bread lives....
Commonly found wander the cliffs, if a fry bread is found very close to where a mother/grandmother resides it is said that the fry bread is bigger in size and has more fluff.
Also to the youth or adults that aren’t parents the scent trail/grease trail is harder to pick up. However it is said that especially mothers or grandmothers will have a way easier time picking up a scent/grease trail
Ok what 🤷🏾♀️
Hahahaha
@@bruh4583 💪👍😂🤣😂
My husband asked me to make fry bread because I’m 1/4 native. i’m like wha-what? i tried. it was sad 😞.
Much love from the other side of the “border” from the Wixaritari tribe brothers 🇲🇽
Sumaru. Interesting.. Do you have any videos of your tribe?
My niece used to fall asleep when her dad would dance with her, up here in Alaska! 😊 It's always so awesome to see other Natives getting their kids involved early!
🙏🏽
Y’all making me get all misty talking about warriors with their babies.
Your comment made me think of a bunch of warriors with babies fighting real quietly and softly so they don’t wake em.
blessed is the man who sons walk beside them.
Thank you Devan for setting the good example of fatherhood. Thank you Patrick and Jacob for this channel. I send long distance hugs to you both.
Long distance hugs to you as well. Thank you.
LOVE the talk about fatherhood and the importance of men being in there children's lives......bravo
Devon carrying his baby in with him is beautiful ✊
God!
I was 5 when my Dad took me deer hunting, and I couldn't even pee in the rough or eat anything, at all.......
He took me rabbit hunting once, gave me carrots and told me to go spread in out on the ground in a open field, about 30 minutes go by, and then he said to get behind him to the car slowly, when I saw him bring his 20 out and started to aim at the rabbits, I threw the rest of carrots at them and screamed RUN!!!!.
Omg, my Dad was so mad, would not talk to me for two days. He was serious about hunting and fishing and he was native so this was super sacred and important.
When my daughter was two, I killed a deer in a canyon, packed out the meat in a backpack and carried out the head. (It was a buck license so I had to keep the antlers to prove) When I got home, my little girl wanted to see the deer I'd killed. I carried her outside, and there's this deer head next to a big pack of meat in the back of my truck.
She looked at it very thoughtfully for a few seconds, then asked, "Is he sleeping, daddy?"
I said, "No, he's dead."
Her: *long pause, brain really working hard* "We gonna eat him?"
Me: "Yep."
Her: "OK, Cool."
I'm sure there's a moral of the story. Probably something about kids being strongly motivated by food.
ali blue Yea I couldn't even rustle leaves without a look. I was fine on squirrels. I even took them to the car. Helping drag bambi (even though I've never seen it) was too much. Brought me to tears. I would of been fine but i was the one who shot it. So I was not prepared for the deer!
The child was probably exhausted from dancing!
So cute! Love that purple blanket he put on the table!
Yeah Devon Knows how to be a good father. The cockatoo and gerbil!! You guys make me smile and laugh. Wish you'd post vids more often.
Yup, very cool!
New subscriber! I'm Hungarian with Mongol ancestry & frequently get asked if I'm Native American (it's an honor). Anyway love the style of humor & spontaneity! 😀
Thanks for watching! 🙏🏽
I recently became interested in your culture...we definitely seems to have many similarities. I’m absolutely a FAN of the HU Band and the “Song of Women”. 🙇🏻♀️🎤🎶🎵💫⚡️💨👏🏽 Stay Healthy, Strong 💪🏽 and Positive.
I’m Indigenous Native American from N. California and I’m Maidu/❤️Miwok / Nissanon. There are several ethnographies and anthropologist who claim we don’t exist anymore but there’s almost 400 just in my Tribal Band or Group. There are 9-10 more Groups who have 100s of members. I know our songs, dances and language..so continue to remain interested in who you are! God Bless.
The guy with the shotgun, I love his little scream! So classic for someone who’s never used a weapon.
I love this because it's a good light hearted laugh and giggle something we all need right now. Thanks for sharing the laugh!!! :)
🙂 Thank you! That is the goal, share a good feeling for others. 🙏🏽
Too too funny, i love how Native's smile laugh and joke. Grandma sends her deepest thanks for your choice to show and say our children are gifts from the Creator😁
Hunting skit and guest to funny. Thank you for all the laughs with solid messages...🌻😁🌻
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Amasaní!! :) (maternal grandmother)
I'm always a bit puzzled about comments about natives not being funny. Why wouldn't they be funny and goof around? That's part of being human.
Family legend says one of my forebears was a fur trapper and married a native woman. No mention of which tribe. Someone in Canada I think. But the drums, the singing, and the dancing moves my spirit.
Swedish chef transcends all nation's.
Bork, bork, bork.
But fry bread that talks? Don't know if I'd want him cooking at pow wow.. LOL
Dad dancing with baby magically over the top. Beautiful. I hope all Dads start doing this .
You could have warned us that we might cry! Loved, loved the end when Devin goes into what fatherhood is. That is one thing I love about Devins videos. He makes a point to add his family to his videos! Been watching him for years. ❤❤❤❤
So happy to see you are OK! I love that part with the father dancing with his baby. good man.
Loved this one especially when you men started talking about fatherhood....omg got me all teary eyed...Fathers are so important!!!!
Worried for you guys when you took the long break. So relieved to see you back!!
You guys have brought so many new paths to my life journey. RESPECT
To funny, I run a bingo hall in Saskatchewan and always wondered if they really smudged their dabbers. Great job
😅😂
I ❤️ Bingo!! ..if Im ever up your way Im coming to play!! 😁 I'm going to have to start smudging my dabbers now as well 😂
I'm from Saskatchewan to
Thank you for bringing us the medicine of laughter oh great medicine man lol
I LOVED seeing a native man carrying his child and supporting fatherhood. Wish more of our native men could stand up and show how proud they are of their babies. God bless & take care guys.
Hahahahhaha Madison hunting, smudge machine, and the cockatoo. I love this channel it is much needed for native humor relief 🙌🏾🙌🏾👏🏽👏🏽. THANK you all and thank you Devon for spreading and honoring fatherhood. Keetowah tribe living on and honoring Duwamish land since conception.
#Seattle 🦅✊🏾
Just don’t quit. You fellas are great. Entertaining and level. Thank you!
My father is going through the toughest moments in his life. He's gone-through six bouts of cancer. My father is and was real Irish-Cherokee. He absorbed a lot of important topics and learned how to provide a kinship toward Detroit-metro kids that were convicted of rape, murder or GTA. Behind bars: what's next?
When reality becomes pretty tough, I trust that you guys know what to do!
It's real cool to see the work you guys are putting-in. We all can use a few laughs these days, thanks!
Dads dancing with their babies is so awesome, I cried with joy. The peacock was good jamming to the native music with its moves. Good job y'all
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOU GUYS, Y'ALL make me smile and laugh SOOOOO MUCH and SOOOOO HARD!!!!!! THANKS Y'ALL
I do not think of myself as Native American but my Great Great Grandmother was full blooded Cherokee. You guys are awesome. You are all just so funny!
Any and everyone is always welcome. 🙏🏽 Thnx for watching!
I don't either though my grandmother was Crow. 4 other nationalities mixed in. Im a mutt. I think you guys are fun to watch too being stuck with lock down til June.
I love how you said that more dads should step up and be involved with their kids. I also love how you represent Native Americans in a positive light. My husband and kids all are part Cherokee and hold their cards. I dated an Apache in college and he turned me on to PowWows. I love them. I too am part Cherokee but a whitey one. peace love and keep putting positive vibes out there
New fan. You have the gift of humor. Thanks. And Devan, very cool.
The joy on Devon's face when he is dancing with his babies....so good!
awesome for devon bringing up his kids in a great way. much respect brother.
I didn't quite expect those feels at the end, but they were quite welcome. Thank you for this wonderful channel and series!
You two have the greatest laughs, always makes me smile. Thank you for your videos. Much Respects 🙏🏽 Wayuu tribe out of Colombia watching from So-Cal this evening. 💯🇨🇴
P.S the end brought a tear to my eye. Showing our men and women how to be Warriors.
I love how Jacob always jamming to no music 😄
😅 dancing to the beat of his own drum
Literally me all the time too 🤣
"We're jammin' Sing it, I want to jam it with you" sharing laughter all around 🙌🙌🙌🤙

OMG!!! ME TOO!!!!!!!!
Love to see a Father taking care of his children - great way to show real parenting.
Devan's message with his babies is incredible. A brave move. Admirable.
Just discovered your videos in the past few days. You men have given me so much joy during these rough times. And we need more stand-up men like Devan in the world. Thank you!
Thanks for introducing me to Devans u tube channel!!!! Can't get enough of Y'ALL.... KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK BRINGING JOY AND LAUGHTER INTO THIS CRAZZZZZY WORLD
Shout out to Devin for being an awesome father and modeling for other fathers! As a non-native who knows too many fatherless families it made me really happy. Love the content and the guests! Thank you for sharing your culture with the world.
Bringing your children in from the very beginning is how you keep your culture from being lost. Kudos!
This lifted my day.. awesome show..
The dancing at the end and Devan's explanation(9:58 forward) are absolutely precious 💕
Thank you so much.😄 Your like the brothers I always wanted. Blessings🌸🙏💗
:)))
Love these videos, especially now that life has changed. Always a good laugh. Devan dancing with his baby...just grand.
Thank you guy's for another laugh. It's well needed . ✌️💖
Be safe ,great videos
I love that Devin is dancing with his kids. Keep dancing, guys!
I missed you guys!!! I always follow Devan since he started. Great job!!! Don't take so long for making the next one. Quarantining is boring in California. Need more funny videos.
Thank you for supporting. No worries we plan to release our next video fairly quickly since it was kind of a long break. 🙏🏽
@@patrickisanavajo, Yes!!!!! We are so excited!!!!! 😁
Made me laugh and gave me chills. Thank you for this one.
I love these. Love Devon's stance on his kids and being involved. Thanks for continuing to share.
Spot on Devan, family is everything. Keep them close. Thanks guys n God bless!
Ya’at’eeh! I have to say I am super happy I found your channel. Although I am about as native as a sheep is a cat (I'm a tiny smidgen Powhatan but I don't count it lol) I grew up in Flagstaff and made a ton of Navajo friends. I miss living there and the culture so watching your videos is a blessing to me. Thank you for the great content!!
Full body chills & tears of Joy that you carry the babies while dancing into fatherhood, your family is blessed. Sacredness!
Amazing! Just amazing to see and hear how Devan dancing with his kids inspired other dad's and mothers! It's great! Keep these videos going
The bird is a fancy dancer 😂
Love the content you guys post!!! It makes my day when a new video comes out!! ❤️❤️❤️
You guys ROCK! I've been watching since your first broadcast, and it's amazing to see how far you've taken your show in just 18 episodes.
Sadly, I am not a Native American, and haven't had the opportunity to visit the Rez, but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate excellence when I see it! Please, KEEP IT GOING!
This guy Devin, is from Rocky Boy, MT. Stand up
Outstanding....I love how you guys finished off talking about how important Fathers are. Fathers are warriors, they take care of their kids. The world needs more of that.
So glad to see a new video!
Thank you so much for all the laugh.......
Can't wait to see and hear more from you....
Keep going!
Loved your guest and his stories. P.S. Hes a great Dad.
PEACE-OUT
Thank you!! Felt amazing laughing with you 🙏🏻 . Thanks for raising the vibration brothers. My whole life has been full of abuse and pain from the male gender more than the female, but from both severely, we're talking ritual abuse shit. Anyway, I wanted to share my heartfelt Thanks 🙏🏻 to your brotherly and healthy masculine protective energy. It's like a soothing balm on my emotional wounds , inviting me further into the joyous 5D ☺️. Much love 💗
I never comment...
But omg thank you for posting :) awesome daddy stuff. Ya'll are always awesome. Thanks
Much love from the UK! I’ve been practically binge watching your videos over the last couple of weeks while stressing over University work, and the gentle humour in these videos really make my day. Not only are these a wonderful insight into another culture, especially as one as rich as your own, but it’s also fantastic to watch. It’s gratifying to see the love you share for your people as a whole - boosting them with the ‘Natives doing cool and unique things’ section, your powerful inclusion of the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women cause, your joy for your Dance... it’s just a really nice thing to see. Also, I know many men who could learn a thing or two from Devon’s approach to fatherhood! Keep going my dude - Ya’at’ééh Abíni from England! (Apologies for the accents if they’re in the wrong place - my Duolingo experience is on hold for exams :()
Celebrating fatherhood will save your nation!! Bless you brothers
& stay strong! Love & Respect! Thanks for all you do!
Non-native here. Just gotta say how much I enjoy watching your videos. You all have such wonderful sense of humor and such pride in your culture, I just want to keep watching. I've grown up going to powwows and love the pure energy and spirituality of our native friends. Please keep adding more content for this pale face to enjoy. Mad respect for your guest today! Fathers are integral to the well being of their children. Thanks guys for being yourselves.
Awesome episode! Can't wait to see more.
Fatherhood is extremely important in the native communities. A lot of natives grow/grew up in broken homes so that’s really cool you’re highlighting that moment with his kids in this video.
That is so AWESOME!!! It truly is so mindblowing to see... Only wished my father could have done it with me. This is what its about Native Proud, Native Strong, teaching and learning the traditions once lost or hidden brought back to the forfront for future generations. Our Creators heart beats strong within our people and it will never die! Kept making, the videos...been laughing so much... truly the best medicine ever.
Aaah. Just got off of a 12 hour workday. Good to see our fellow Diné peeps keepin' us smilin'. Keep it up guys. I can't go home cuz of covid19. You guys make it easier to get thru this corn-teen.
Thank you for showing other fathers how to be one. No one is born on how to be one, but thank you for educating
You go Dad you rock! Real men love, nurture, & care for the next generation.
12,000 views in 24 hours. I'm so happy for you both! And yes, I watch every episode. You've got me singing "Baby Yoda", cracking up days later after still thinking of memes you've shown. I love your show. I think in time you will have created something networks will want to bid over. And I loved watching Devan at the pow wow. How wonderful.
The carrier....Mahe Ohna children are our mirrors.
Smiles across the miles for always making me laugh guys!
Devon, I am so grateful for what you are doing. I raised a special needs child alone (his father said he was boring when we were married). Way to go!
Devon, thank you for being a good man and father. I work in prison ministry and rehabilitation. So many of my "boys" never had a positive male role model.
Thank you for changing the world one dance at a time.
Be proud to be! Great job!!! Great father!!!
My husband is a significant impact in our children’s lives. We have four, so there were always enough to carry and arms of Love to go around. Honors to you!
i love how devin just pulls up and adjusts stuff lol
Love the videos❤ Keeping you all in my prayers during this crisis.
Bless you for being an involved dad. Our daughters need this. Always pulls at my heartstrings to see. Guess it’s just something I missed out on as a child.
I am completed addicted to your channel now Patrick. I haven't laughed this hard in forever. Slowly making my way through them all. I love you all!! Thanks man.
Great trend Devon....that is unique and so glad others are following through!! Wow! 23K subscribers?? I remember when you were at 2K before you met Natalie at the WNN fair.
I’m white, 61, female, and your videos are highly entertaining. Love em.
That hunting trip reminded me of hunting with my oldest daughter. Lol
I just love you guys❤️ Keep those videos coming🥰
Anoyher great episode. Thanks for spreading the news and love ❤.
And thanjs to Devan for leading the way for Native and ALL fathers.
I was feeling really low this week and then I remembered the Native Baby Yoda video.. It, and y'all, made me happy again. Thank you!
What a great dad, to bring his kids in to dance as babies. 🥲🥲🥲🥲 Beautiful.
You Tube reccomend you guys in my feed and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOU GUYS!!! Sharing with everyone and wishing you could do videos every day!!!!👍💕
