I got my first diesel heater 3-4 years ago. I heat my shop and also use it to heat my snow tent during hunting season. I absolutely love them and will never go back to my buddy heater...although I take it as a backup. Great kit...my buddy has the cheapest Vevor and it's been trouble free for him for the last two years after being used constantly during the winter. Great vid. I'm glad these are becoming so popular.
@@rustymac40 thanks for the feedback, I am amazed at the amount of innovation they are pouring into Diesel heaters. Look for a new video next week, I bought the cheapest diesel heater on Amazon and going to see how it goes
I have mine in my boat, I have installed a scooter air filter so that the air intake inside the cabin makes 0 noise, installed a scooter silencer on the exhaust, I grind the tickets massive rubber around the diesel pump thin so that the ticking does not resonate. to the chassis, loose foam around it, works perfectly quietly
I just got the Toolbox 2. It’s pretty cool except for only after Using it 2 days, I’m getting a very slight diesel leak out of one of the fuel lines around the fuel pump. The clamps are all tight. I think they probably just need to be replaced with better lines and clamps. I keep it outside under the camper and port the tube into a side window I insulated with styrofoam. Almost no sound. So much quieter than the propane furnace.
DO NOT USE the blue square type muffler! They are very quiet but also restrict exhaust flow causing a rich mixture and in no time at all the burn chamber will be full of carbon requiring a full strip down. Ask me how I know 😢
I saw your video changing out pump but the Hcallery sounded great stock and still had good fuel time on low. I like that unit and would probably order the better muffler. Thanks for your reviews.
Would that quiet pump upgrade work on the Hcalory T2 and the new white Wippro? could be nice to take it a step further, see if it would compete with LF Bros Silent unit
Could you please take some tape measure and measure the physical dimensions LxWxH of the new hcalory tb2? I dont trust the dimensions on amazon and this information is impossible to find anywhere. Bonus points for dimensions with piping installed. Thanks.
Do they offer these in anything larger than 8Kw …my family has a hunting cabin and I’m not sure one this size will handle heating a 20x24 semi-insulated building.
If you can get farm diesel use that instead. It is dyed other colors to differentiate it. You don’t pay road tax on that diesel so you can get it for less. No difference in the fuel.
Do not buy those square mufflers like the blue one he shows. They have fiberglass inside and after a while the fiberglass will absorb moisture out of the exhaust and keep the air from going out the pipe full force. You will get an error code and the heater will shut down a few minutes after it starts. Once I took that muffler off it ran perfectly. And the so-called mufflers that come with these diesel heaters are worthless so just don't put anything at the end of your exhaust pipe. And you won't have any issues.
You should go complete electric. The cost of power packs are getting cheap and DC chargers are very efficient these days. You can even completely cook with electric these days.
with these you could heat a small cabin for 2 days with zero degrees outside. If you are planning on heating it with strictly electricity, you'd have to haul 200bls of batteries with.

I have the same replacement fuel pump. And it is SO much quicker. Good choice. P.S. aim your exhaust pipe down so it can drain!
It is good stuff, I always aim it down, just a little tight with all of heaters on the table, had to bend them upwards

Just watched this video and your TB2 video. Great job, I've subscribed.

I would not change the fuel pump on the Hcalory, it is fine. You get a couple of feet away, you cannot hear any ticking

Nice job god bless
YOU USE THESE HEATERS OUTSIDE. ARE THEY FAIRLY WATER PROOF??
I put them under the truck, I do not think they are water proof
WHAT BRAND FUEL FILTERS DO YOU USE????????? AGAIN.

18x8x15
@@sherburnoutdoors is that a typo for 18x18x5?
@@Armenian sorry, 18x8x15
@@sherburnoutdoors thanks!
@@sherburnoutdoors sorry for the additional question, but the listings say “2024” model, not 2025. Is this an error on the part of the merchant?

I do not think so
if the exhaust is run outside through the rv wall, is the pipe itself loud if on the inside? Is a muffler really needed if exhausted outside?
Of course there are other campers around right?
If you have to pick Hcalory TB2 or the new Whippro?
Hcalory
@@sherburnoutdoors Thanks for sharing your feedback. Why do you prefer the Hcalory vs the Whipper? TIA
So just grab a gas tank and go to your local gas station and fill it up with diesel is that where you get your fuel from?
That’s right. My heater and tank are in a box on the front of my trailer. I pull right up to the pump and fill the tank.

👍🤠
Best thing i found for exhaust is to upgrade to a EBERSPACHER ESPAR EXHAUST SILENCER MUFFLER 24mm also fits WEBASTO Heater
Might even be able to use the eberspacher fuel pump

I actually have the EcoFlow ac/dc heater and going to try it out this weekend on heat
It would be interesting to see if the super quiet pump made any significant difference in the kroak tb2?
