Sadly, in my neck of the woods, that's still 3 times more expensive than running an electric heater.

Another thing to note about these boxed in heaters……Good luck on getting to service the heater! With the TB2 you’ll have to strip it right down to get the heater out.

The duct hose that you list..did you look at the inside to make sure that the foil is not perforated? I purchased this hose early this year.. the foil has hundreds of tiny perforations. very fine/small particles of fiberglass insulation blow thru the hose into the air.. I would not breath air that passes thru this duct. Maybe yours is different.. but the MFG told me they were all like this and are supposed to be used for exhaust..FYI

Can’t get in the uk

I just got the Toolbox 2. It’s pretty cool except for only after Using it 2 days, I’m getting a very slight diesel leak out of one of the fuel lines around the fuel pump. The clamps are all tight. I think they probably just need to be replaced with better lines and clamps. I keep it outside under the camper and port the tube into a side window I insulated with styrofoam. Almost no sound. So much quieter than the propane furnace.

You should go complete electric. The cost of power packs are getting cheap and DC chargers are very efficient these days. You can even completely cook with electric these days.

Thanks for the detailed review. It seems to me another con would be the exhaust coming out the same side as the heat. I can't imagine a lot of setups where someone would want that. It seems like you would want the heat blowing into the living area and the exhaust blowing out the other side.

What size hose for the hot size does it use?

Heads up! I’ve just purchased the TB2 and I’ve now sent it back for a full refund due to the fact the heater inside is no bigger than a 5kw version. In the spec sheet it clearly states a longer aluminium heat exchanger which mine was not. Hcalory did sell a 6-8.5kw heater which is noticeably bigger (and kicks out more heat) and also has the 90mm air outlet but unfortunately the TB2 doesn’t house this bigger version which is a shame.

Compared to others I think it's a poor design...who has the exhaust exit on the bottom. Without a 90 degree elbow even. Needing blocks

Could you please take some tape measure and measure the physical dimensions LxWxH of the new hcalory tb2? I dont trust the dimensions on amazon and this information is impossible to find anywhere. Bonus points for dimensions with piping installed. Thanks.

I wonder if there's any parts for cleaning the soot, build up. Um, changing the glow plug. All that stuff with diesel heaters.

I have the same replacement fuel pump. And it is SO much quicker. Good choice. P.S. aim your exhaust pipe down so it can drain!

I don't trust the made in China products, especially the electronics.

I wish the exhaust was out the side and not the front. I want to test a diesel heater in a canvas outfitters tent. The heater would take the place of the wood stove with the exhaust going out the top of the tent. Between this heater the wippro you reviewed last week - any thoughts on which would work best?
