Got my Lightranger 2000 but have to exchange it. White and yellow diodes on one side are flickering. Still waiting for new one to arrive. Hadn’t received any indication that my replacement was being shipped. Finally filled out a review that was sent to me from a Devos Outdoor. Gave the rating two stars with the reason that they need to work on their quality control and inspections before shipping. It’s typical that this review was never posted on their website. I even filled out a review on their website and it never got posted. I have seen other companies screen their reviews and only post favorable ones. This is not a good practice. Overall like the light and its ability especially the App control.
Hi David. I work here at Devos. We're in the process of airfreighting in replacement heads from our manufacturer. There was an issue with the board that we didn't have on previous units. We do extensive QC on our products and there was a decision made to swap out a part that we had no prior knowledge of. We have addressed this problem with our manufacturer and are going to be sending out information regarding replacement this week. As for reviews we publish all reviews both positive and negative. There might be a delay in that review hitting our website but we hope once we can get this problem sorted you will consider changing that review.
@@zskibum673 I received the replacement light head yesterday. However I had already shipped the whole unit back to Devos. I have been in communication with Ferdinand however he never mentioned just swapping out the light head. A UPS label was Emailed to me and I boxed everything back up how it originally came and dropped it off at a UPS store. Now I need the pole, bag, charger and stakes. I think you can understand my frustration and disappointment so far. I sent a email about this to Ferdinand but no response yet.
@@zskibum673hello there, wondering why is my devos 2000 wont pair on the app and I am using iphone 13. There was a comment that says his devos 2000 wont pair either with his iphone 13 max. Is there anything else to update? Why is this happening and wont pair to the app?
They need to make an attachment for those with roof racks and bed racks so when parked we can pull out and stage securely while getting camp ready and not worry about someone grabbing it when everyone is sleepjng. At least when secured on vehicle more of a deterrent. Then when leaving area easy to remove and put away in vehicle.
I wonder how it would do from a fall of 10 feet when the wind blows suddenly. Like surfaces like grass, sand on the beach, hard compacted dirt, and the parking lot.
How did you pair your light to your app are you using iphone 13 or 14? I just recently bought my devos 2000 and no matter what I do it wont pair to the app and I am using iPhone 13.
I ordered a 2000 but don’t know when I will get it. I was wanting to make a holder mounted on the back of my Jeep that the pole can slide into. If the tripod is removed do you know the diameter of the pole. Thanks
My son mounted ours on his jeep using these " Rubber Clamp 1-1/3"~1-3/5" Mount Kit Car Accessories for Offroad 4X4 parts" offered on Amazon at the SINOKING Store. I don't think he removed the tripod base, just kept it folded so he could also use at camp as well. He also 3D printed clamps that snap on to the top when extended that holds his weBoost Antenna.
@@mikebartoli4755 No it doesn’t though the motion detector that you can order for the other models works on the 2000. Personally I don’t have much faith in motion detectors as tree or bush branches moving in the wind can set them off but maybe the this one is different. My motion detector is my dog.
Does this work without the app? Can you still use the 3 colors and dimm the unit if you dont have the app working? I dont want to be the only person able to do things with it at camp....
Thanks for replying the very first time I tried to connect it worked but then lost connection and since then the app never finds the light. I think the Bluetooth shorted out or something disappointing I like it. Seems little overpriced for what it does. Will see how they make it right
I have the original DEVOS light plus a STYKER and up front the STYKER far out performs my Devos. The STYKER is more rugged and feels well made while the DEVOS is very light weight and feels fragile. Battery wise, the STYKER far out performs the DEVOS. The max time we got with the DEVOS on high was just short of two hours. The STYKER, about twice that long. The STYKER as white/red light options that are selected via the small bluetooth control that is secured at the base. The DEVOS was cheaper by about $50 at the time of our purchase. We also purchased the lens kit for the DEVOS but haven't seen a need/use to change the lens color yet. We also purchased the sensor for our DEVOS and that is a very nice accessory.
Got mine today and only 3 sides work. Super frustrated with having to deal with a return process the very same day its arrives 😩

You do not need the app
How many mAh is the battery unit?
9000
You can always get extra AMPak 10 Portable Power Banks to stack up and Solar Panel on top like I did.
My ranger 2000 won’t connect to the app seems like the Bluetooth is not working can’t figure out if there is a pairing mode
There no pairing at all. It should locate the light on the app and connect

Will the Bluetooth signal pass through an aluminum camper to the outside? Can you update the firmware using iPhone or iPad?
I updated firmware with my iPhone and did it on the other side of the house
Yes
I used it over the weekend ans the range on the Bluetooth was insanely good.
MINE WON'T ADD ON THE APP! 😢

Hi, did you spell the name of the other light right because I can’t find it but I can find a light called stkr thank you

No worries I thought so. Just wanted to double check. Thanks for getting back to me.🙏
