I just installed the 5kw version of the vevor in my workshop, and yes, it warmed up the space fairly quickly. I'm pleased. Yes, my fuel hose is kinked, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. The noise from the pump is a little irritating and the silencer outside is also loud. However I walked over to my neighbours fence and I could hardly hear it! So all in all I'd give it 9 out of 10.
nice video . the ID of 1 outlet pipe is 75mm .so 80-85 mm hole would work and add a fuel filter is the main points on these . on lowest setting is about 750w of heat . high is about 5KW . alpine setting if high up . slows the pump down so less fuel used
Thanks for a really simple explanation and demonstration of how to setup these all in one diesel heaters. Particularly important was where those pipes go as there is no explanation in the manual. I think you should also add a small inline fuel filter between the tank and the pump so that any sediment from the fuel tank or contamination in the fuel is prevented from entering and clogging the pump.
Greetings from Kanada. Great video. I just had my 8kw Vevor unit delivered today. I also ordered a few fittings to route the exhaust outside, and a 6 foot exhaust tube. Two things you should know there’s no such thing as an 8 kW heater They advertise it as that, but it’s not it’s probably closer to six Other thing is the heat exchanger, gotta be careful condensation in the exhaust plug up the exhaust inside the exchanger
@@Dorklepuss Yeah, I will be sure to angle it down a bit to drain the condensation. If you do the calculations on the heat energy from a kg of diesel fuel, you will find that you are quite correct. Still, it will provide enough heat to keep me warm in a winter power outage. Thanks for the info!

From there you can set it even lower than it came and Higher than it came in both the Pulse setting & the Fan setting... If I installed a similar system in my van is it critical to pull air from the outside of the van instead of pulling air from inside the van? I've noticed some van lifers you must pull air from the outside to make sure you are always getting fresh air and some say you don't need to. Seems to be a safer option if you are pulling fresh air from outside the van.

I noticed you missed a startup step. You can run a "Purge" of the fuel system. This will just run the fuel pump to purge the air from the fuel lines and pump. Just keep an eye on it so you don't flood the unit with fuel. Just long enough to get the diesel to the furnace. Then turn the system on and you may find it will not smoke as much. You only need to do this on first fill up and if/when you run the tank dry.
If someone doesnt have the big battery pack like you can i connect the car battery to it? Is it only to give power to the unit so you can light up the screen?
Don't use your car battery. It is not designed for this application. Use an auxiliary battery, like that Bluetti or a standard AGM battery which is designed for low current draw over a period of time. Your car battery will run it for a few hours then die. And then you can't start your car. And the battery is also probably damaged from being run too low.
I've heard that the exhaust pipe needs to be run downhill so that condensation does not build up in the pipe and create soot. I want to use mine in a sailboat so it will be hard to run it downhill and still get it outside. I think there is a part you can buy that hooks onto the pipe that has something similar to an S trap for plumbing attached so the condensation can be let out without having the exhaust come out with it. Does anyone reading this know anything about this or know where I can find info about it?
Yes. Your car battery is designed to put out a high power output for a short time to start your car, whereas an auxiliary battery, like that Bluetti has a Lithium battery that is designed for a lower current draw over a long period. Your car cranking battery cannot do the same as the aux battery.

They talk about this working for like 275 sq ft

Safety Alert! Change out the green fuel line and replace it with the yellow....seen this on a number of heater videos.
Could you expand upon what exactly you’re talking about? I just bought one of these and would like it to be as safe as possible :)
