    We put in the same sewage treatment tank in 2014 and it stopped operating properly after about 2 years- I phoned the manufacturer and they said it could only be blocked- I managed to hang upside down in tank and disconnect all hoses and linkages and pull the red pipe out. It was blocked, with strands on what looked like hair. It turned out it was "biodegradable" baby wipes. I pulled them out and refitted. Tank has performed perfectly since!

    To stop those joints moving on the pressure washer wand how about shrink wrap? Would stop them moving and also protect them from coming undone? Easy to remove later too.

      Yeah, I was just thinking the same. Especially the adhesive lined heat shrink sleeve. That'll lock it up nicely, but you can still strip it back off with a stanley knife. The adhesive is basically a layer of hot melt glue.

    When I was living in France, out in the sticks, the owner of the house had to replace his septic tank. It was this HUGE double vat type thing with aerators etc and was supposed to make the sewage, like 98% clean water. He had no end of trouble with that design, it leaked out into the ground and had to be dug up, pulled out and replaced. The hole was at least 9ft deep.

      That sounds like a nightmare! At least this is just one tank and I've got my head around it now 😁 hopefully I won't have any more issues and it's all dialled in now

    Aiden, I have to say, you never know what to expect when you tune in for your show- and it is one hell of a show! If we could get you to the states you would have your own show on a major network. I don't know what the hell it would be about, but your personality would carry what ever it was. If you ever want to make your way over and take in Disney world, you and yours have a place to stay. Just stay out of your septic tank before the trip.

    Good Job Aiden! God I'm glad the smellovision doesn't work on RUclips!!
    So, any idea WTF that screw is doing in there? Is there metal strapping on the outside of the angled pipe that the screw fastens it to maybe? Seems likely that one of those hairy crap bombs could have got stuck on that and only got dislodged by the tank emptier. It's mad that such a simple rig should be able to fail so badly.
    Again, well done mate.

    • @THE-AIDEN-PROJECT
      @THE-AIDEN-PROJECT  4 месяца назад +1

      Surprisingly it didn't smell that bad, it's kind of earthy and almost sweet 😆
      I'm thinking that the screw holds two pipes together maybe? I might ask their tech department if it should be like that, maybe it's there to catch any rubbish 🤷

But to do that for someone else, no wonder it’s £800 !! Top job Aiden and preparation is the key, as undoubtedly, this will happen again. Question; would you buy a Graffiti system again? Having watched your vids in this topic, their aftersales sound pretty helpful. Totally understand if you don’t want to add a comment to this. Nice vid and very informative. Don’t give up your day job though by going to Art School to learn how to draw a stick man 😂👍
