Cat dad has a blue day.....Aiden, you're an inspiration. The warmer weather will boost your mojo. You know what you have to do. Just need to find the motivation to spend the hours doing it. Forget about videos if it's getting in the way....but hopefully you can find a happy compromise.
Our former feral, Marvin, took a while to warm to me (loved my wife instantly), but with persistence they come round eventually. Now he will come and sit on my chest in bed, nose-to-nose, will headbutt me frequently and lick too. He is a total fiend for Webbox sticks! All three of them look like total sweethearts.
Spend a day or two tidying up the site it will make a big difference to how you feel. It is one of those jobs that has a start & finish so you will see the results. Drier weather is coming so keep your head up 👍👍👏👏
There ain’t much more I can say that other people haven’t already said. Stay strong, the clouds will pass, be the shining light in an otherwise pretty dark world. Keep the vibes high and others around you will raise theirs. As someone else said maybe just take a few days out and clear up the site as that will make you feel better knowing you’ve achieved something and can start next project with a clean slate.
Now get that fookin insulation up!! 😂😂

Hi Aiden, I enjoy your vids but I do worry about your mental health sometimes!! I think you're a little bit like me, getting stuck on a problem for too long. I find if I "park it" for a day or two and focus on something else, I often come up with a solution by then. I am renovating a derelict property in Ireland at the moment, doing some bits myself and getting trades in for anything that requires a bit of skill 🙂It's tough, the place looks like hurricane just passed through, tools and materials everywhere, and some days I feel like I make no progress whatsoever 😭But you just have to keep going!
Some of your vids have really helped me with a couple of the things I have been working on so thank you for that 👍 If you are ever looking for a fresh challenge, there's some beautiful rural properties in Ireland needing renovation, I think you'd love it.
Oh, and I have 2 cats that look very like yours, I got them in England in the pandemic and they made the journey over to Ireland with me!! 🤣 Good luck with your projects, and with RUclips!!

Stay strong! Change your mindset and unlock the mental knots you have. Am so similar to you, it’s as if I was you . Am in a very similar position as you but happier and accepting of the changes I made . Hope you feel better soon.
H iAiden. I know exactly what you are dealing with. I myself suffer from clinical depression and SAD. So now spring is coming I will be over my SAD till next winter. All I can suggest is seek medical advice and more the point literally take one day at a time so there not so much to have to deal with. If you don't feel like doing anything than don't. Take care of yourself first because if you fuck up anything you will feel 10 times worse and not be able to come to a conclusion because as you said your mind is going 10 to a dozen. Try and keep your chin up mate.
Keep going mate. Life is meant to challenge us and there are always better times ahead, never forget that. Don't talk about it on here but make sure you do talk to someone about whatever is going on with you becuase talking always helps and there is always someone there prepared to listen no matter what. Hope you get through it all and I think videos like this are just as good as all your others. Easy for me to say but don't judge your performace by the number of views you get per video, you're building a connection with your audience and I'm sure they will all keep coming back, just like I do. Oh and did you see my comment about the flashing thumbs up? I posted you a link to a video of it happening on one of your older videos.
I fully empathise with you, I’ve got a list of jobs I need to do around the house and garden but this crap weather has seriously slowed down my motivation! However I have finally put the thermal imaging camera to good use whilst insulating my garage. Keep up the good work mate (love the cat dad video btw)

Maybe we have some things in common. Having a linear brain means we fixate on a problem trying to fix it, and can't move past it. And in many cases moving past it is the best thing to do, because it can't be fixed until a solution arrives later? These months are the worst of the year, I dread them. It's truly miserable if you're affected by the weather. I do take massive doses of vitamin D, and that actually works to lift my mood a bit. I can't recommend overdosing on a vitamin though, but do some reading on the subject if you get round to it. It's funny because my car has been attacked by rodents too recently. It puzzled me at first till I realized what was happening. I've sprayed the engine with peppermint oil, it's supposed to deter them. And I had to put grills on the loft vents, because they were getting in there too. Fun times! Really enjoyed this video on the pets by the way 👍

Just subbed to your channel. Aside from the cats, the overwhelming consensus in K-9 terms is the *Patterdale Terrier.* If you know anyone who has one then your rodent issues will be eliminated mate.

Sometimes you just hsve to get professional help. I alude to yr precious video subject.
If there is something you can't control, try to focus on how you respond to it, that response, is itself something you can control. Since continuous rumination on the problem is draining, set a specific time to think about the issue; regaining a sense of agency takes practice. Set aside a little time each day just for yourself, doing something you enjoy, no strings attached.
Your videos no matter what you think of the quality, showing your successes and mistakes are a sign of strength and as you can see a lot of people appreciate them.
Are you familiar with a sand mandala? Maybe you could make a vid and then deliberately delete it.
