    Was interested in getting this for my first outdoor camera just had a couple questions. When battery goes low I’d have to remove camera from the mount to charge it up then remount it? Then that would mean I wouldn’t have a camera in that direction till I get camera charged? Unlike blink you can pop in new batteries? I know there’s a solar option but for that specific location it would be a hassle to mount a solar option. Also do I need home base for human/motion detection option?

      You don't need homebase for this camera. Also I was in the same position regarding having no camera available whilst you charge the one you have. What I did is bought 2. So one is ready to be mounted as soon as the other runs out of charge. They are relatively cheap cameras for the tech you get
