    Awesome hints, 100% agree! 👌
How did you managed just in 1 year to get to self-sustainability? Were you actively trading throughout all this time or just invested a huge amount in some particular stock? Oh, and by the way, what do you prefer ETF vs individual stocks vs Crypto?
    Would appreciate your answer 😁

      Thank you, Vlad! 🙏🏻
I more or less actively traded throughout. According to my broker, from April to December 2020 I made 1K+ trades. Although if I had put all of my money in Tesla right away back when it was $200-300 pre-split, I would have been much better off 🙈😄. But I was also learning from scratch and trying lots of different things to find myself, so missed out on some big opportunities in the process.
The notion of self-sustainability depends on several factors. I couldn't keep leaving off my investments in NY without eventually exhausting them. That is why I moved to Estonia, where life is 3-4 times cheeper, and tax rates are quite favorable. Plus, I am okay with living simple life for now.
I don't like ETFs. Tried different ones at the beginning, even VOO. But quickly understood that it did align with my convictions. Now I invest only in ARK's ETFs because I share their vision (somewhere around 6-7% of my portfolio). The rest are individual stocks.
I love crypto! Around 20-25% of all my investments are in 5 cryptocurrencies. But it is near to impossible to plan with them, so I don't want to put in much more than that for now. It's definitely a great long-term investment but you never know if in the near future it will stay the same, crash again or shoot to the moon 🤷‍♀️
Hope my answer was helpful ☺️
