- Dr. Daniel and the dogs who know statistics teach you about how to use SPSS for an example analysis. Using the techniques that you have learned so far, you will see how a real statistician would work through an analysis and organize the data, output, syntax within a single folder. This is the practical side of SPSS that you won’t find any textbook. You will see the big picture of how an analysis should run and the steps to follow to do it right.

I will tell every body who is into statistics to watch your videos . it is worth it.
Thank you so much for the kind words and recommending to others!
Thanks Dr. Daniel for your patience and hard work for creating such a masterpiece . I hope one day your generosity will be paid back by karma
I hope so too! Thanks for commenting
You're blessings, Prof Daniel; universities worldwide will prosper to have more teachers like you.
Thank you so much for the kind words. Glad that others around the world are benefitting!

Thank you SO SO much! You are awesome.
Thank you so much for this SPSS very useful
Thank you so much for this video series! I am (was?) a complete novice with statistics and statistics software. I am an academic librarian required to produce research, but my background is humanities. These videos have helped me to understand how to analyze my research and I now feel much less intimidated!
Thank you!
Such a helpful series! I'm in the middle of the data analysis of the research from my master's project and even when I already was familiar with SPSS, I needed to refresh my knowledge. Little me didn't know I was going to learn so many tricks that are going to make so much easier my process thanks to you. I will be checking some more of your videos, that's for sure. Thanks for this. I loved the puppies too! Greetings from Colombia.
Glad it was helpful! Thank you for the comment. Hello to you in Columbia!
Thank you so much !
Thank you so much Professor, I have really learnt a lot, you taught and explained it in a very simple language and gave clear directions. I was a new student but I cannot say that again. Thanks to you! Will for sure put the skills into good use. BE BLESSED ABUNDANTLY.
You are very welcome. Thanks for the kind words
Am I the only one who was lured in by the cute puppies 🐶? Also, the tutorial is easy to follow as always.
You are so kind...it was fun working with the dogs and I am glad that people appreciate having them in the videos.
Thanks Sir, It helped a lot
Most welcome! Very glad to hear that
You are a great Tutor. I like your beard as well. Thanks so much!
Thank you kindly!
Hello, dear Dr. Daniel (my professor).
I really really appreciate your information and knowledge full videos about how to use SPSS for beginners.
and your last word (my purpose in creating these videos is to improve the field of statistics and research. so whatever you do to promote that,
you have my blessing) is your kindness and I wish you the best luck.
but I have an offer for you if you don't mind. Please make many videos about the statistic common words (standard deviation, P-value, degree of freedom and etc) for beginners.
kind regards:
Diyari.
Hello Diyarı - that is an absolutely brilliant idea! We need more videos that explain the big picture of statistics. So often, we focus on the deeper concepts, but it is difficult for students to combine the ideas and see how they are related. Excellent idea. I am going to add that to my list of future videos. Hope to have something reasonably soon. Thanks
Thank you so much. I have one question please, why the normality distribution test is ignored here? For simplicity or there are some situations that we don’t need to do it?
Thanks
It is an amazing explanation and great tutorial…
But in most of ur videos u use simpler example…can u do one wr we use a more complex example like w use is academia..Which includes different variables and likert scale
Tnx
Hi, can you please suggest any book(s)/article(s)/video(s) which help us to learn how to write a research article(s)? Of course, learning about research methodologies, data analyses, etc., are important; however, not knowing how to write/present the literature review, findings, discussions, etc., is even more important.
P.S. Thanks for your hard work in developing such informative videos for us.
Hmmm...I really ought to have a good answer for this. I like some of the SAGE Little Quick Fix books for the basics. I have more videos going up later this year that will include APA write-ups. I know there is a book called "How to Write a Literature Review" on my shelf, I'm sure its on Amazon. That's the best I can do. Sorry I don't have something more.
Also, would you be able to recommend a way to get certified in SPSS? Thanks again.
I based this video series on the criteria for getting certified. I know there are some programs that offer training, but it is very expensive. This version covers most of the basics. My advice would just be to google for SPSS certification programs. Good luck
