- Dr. Daniel, joined by Mickey and Diva, explains how to edit, customize, and export your output from the IBM SPSS Statistics VIEWER. You get an introduction to pasting syntax and using syntax to run an analysis. Using that output, we modify tables and charts in the VIEWER using TABLE LOOKS, the CHART EDITOR, and PIVOT TABLES. Then we explore the options for exporting a small part of the output, the entire output, and the actual data to Microsoft Word or Excel.

I was working on a paper a while back, and didn't know how to reformat the tables into APA format. It took forever, but I figured out how to in Word... but this was SO EASY!! Thank you for showing me how to reformat tables and charts - I will definitely use that again, and that makes it so so so much quicker. You rock!
Thanks for the comment...these are some tricks that I have picked up over the years and found helpful Glad that I can share them more widely on this channel so that friends like you around the world can benefit.

So nice of you! Thanks for watching.
Would be great to show how to make tables with mean, standard deviation, T test, significance, etc...
Worthy Sir, Good Evening
I am using SPSS 26. In syntax window, *syntax3 my output is not matching with your output.
Where is the problem ? kindly guide me what should I do
Thanks for the comment...it is difficult to say for sure what the problem is, but typically that happens when (a) something is different between our datasets, or (b) something differed in the steps or settings we used. Hopefully, you learned the steps to follow, so if the data are a little different you still got the most important part.
How to undo in SPSS?
The undo function in SPSS should work the same as in other programs (on Mac, I use command-z), but there are some procedures in SPSS that cannot be undone. You can run an analysis and then discard it, but be careful about anything that affects the actual dataset. For example, you might want to Recode into Separate Variable to maintain your original variable, rather than using Recode into Same Variable. Good luck
