There is a guy who managed to make an ssto capable of landing on eeloo without refueling. Then it can return to kerbin, land on the runway, take off again, get into orbit again, then return to eeloo, land again, then return again and land on the runway again.

Hzard-ish, the management team and I would like to discuss a few points with you, if you have a moment. The Minmus base team, and your ship crew, have reported some reckless flying and crew endangerment that could have set back the Minmus base programme by several decades. The alleged incidents, which we are currently investigating, are that you performed an incredibly low pass over the surface of Minmus, narrowly avoiding a collision, and that you took off on a low trajectory over the Minmus base, causing the lead engineer to spill his morning coffee. Do you have anything to say about these allegations?

Loved the VTOL maneuver on Minmus! :D
When the whole mining setup finished around 6:45 I looked over at the spaceplane and it started hovering for a couple seconds on those aerospikes, I felt like I was going to have a stroke, it's so kickass.
This dude has gotten some heat over some of his edited flights but his designs are absolutely insane regardless. Even four years later this one blows me away.

I have a theory that about 10% of the production time (excluding editing) for these videos is planning, building, and traveling to your destination, and the other 90% is quicksaving and reloading to get these ridiculously close encounters. I would love a montage set to appropriately classy yet explody music showing all of the attempts.

If you reorganize that base layout, you pretty much have a mining train that can go pretty much anywhere.

minimus is easyer to get to than the mun try that first look up a good rocket on youtube. Due to minumuses low gravaty the delta-V needed is much less so therefore u need a smaller rocket

Cube8Tor dude, i dont know if you are aware, but getting an ssto to land in minmus is way easier than the moon
Cube8Tor I've done an orbit around the Mun in one. Long-range SSTO's are extremely difficult to make without RAPIERs.

I have vage memory of seeing the first two episodes of this, o yeah it was what inspired me to build my own minimus base (didnt turn out as well as this one tho)
Hazard-ish I want to see you making an asteroid plane like the one you did few months ago but with landing gears an engine and a cockpit. This is just me and my crazy ideas.

No, toby1248 did it before in video "KSP RSS Manned Mission to the Kuiper Belt", but I did it in one launch and I didn't use NearFuture mod.
I have never seen anyone else giving a planet-sized toaster mission.

I love how much utter disregard for safety the kerbals have. Driving around like morons, the plane ALMOST HITTING the mining station when it comes in for a landing. It's so authentic.
