Just now installed all 8 of these bulbs into my 2015 corolla (in 2022) and let me say it all worked out well in the end and the bulbs they're selling today all work great as expected, especially those which are the 360-degree premium bulbs. Let me fill you in on some side-pointers if I may -- very important: 1. Regarding the map lights, they were in there very snug and did not want to come out, so I ended up turning the black socket counterclockwise and it ended up getting sucked up into the back of the fastening plate. So, if you cannot get your bulbs to easily come out, I urge you to use one of the prying tools (flat end) and pry the entire assembly out so you can get to the back side, from there all is self-explanatory. 2. Dome light: On my car the lens was too tight to use the tool Phil used in this video, you'll need to use the 'fork" tool; when you get the lens to pop out you don't have to take out the assembly, just use the pointy tool to slightly bend back the side (driver's side in my case) of the bulb holder pop the bulb down and out with another tool of some sort. When inserting the new 360-degree bulb it's ok to push slowly and hard to get it positioned, then I took metal tweezers and gently bent the prong inward to further secure the bulb so it wouldn't pop out later -- it worked out great, the bulb is bright as hell and it's not going anywhere. 3. The reverse lights went in as simple as in this video. 4. Using the fork tool and a steel pair of super thin pliers I finally got my fastening grommets out of the cover, then proceeded to grab onto and pull out the back of the bulb holder -- getting the new bulbs out was not as easy as in the video -- you notice some bulbs to not want to come out and take some ingenuity to get out. Once out and replaced the hard part for me was to gently get the back assembly turned and tightened, again, not as easy as in the video -- but it works and is self-explanatory. There you go, I hope this adds to the ease of changing your bulbs -- all Toyotas can be slightly different, so be ready to modify your efforts if needed. P.S., my OEM passenger reverse bulb was a bitch to take out and ironically the left was easy, again, depends on who installed it on the assembly line -- but they are "super-bright" and you will be please with your new bulbs from Precision LED. Go for it! Good Luck.
Bought lights from LED based on great instructional video. Great lights, tools really helped and made for easy install. Also packing was really well thought out. Each light was labeled in it's own bubble wrap so no confusion on what went where. Took about 20 minutes for new bulbs and quality of light is so much better then the stock bulbs!
I know im asking the wrong place but does anyone know of a tool to log back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid forgot my account password. I love any help you can offer me!
@Kayson Randy Thanks for your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm trying it out atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Excellent tutorial, I really glad somebody finally did it professionally, thank you. I have one question though how to install auto dimming rear view mirror in the same Corolla
Ordered some and excited to get them. Thanks for the help. i kinda started looking and working with it even though i dont have them hahaa i needed help on the license plate and tail lights because i wasnt too sure
Question. I am changing my front interior light on my 2014 Corolla, but the clip where the bulb goes went up into the crowded space and I can’t seem to get it back out. Any helpful tips on how to get it back
Yes, our product would indeed work for your license plate lights. You can add the license plate lights via the package, or purchase the license plate LEDs separately on our website.
I got a question recently my dome light, tail light is not working. I realize my fuse blew out so I bought new fuse and install it. Everything is fixed but the front map light is not working on the right side I changed everything but theres no light. I dont know if its the fuse or did I put it wrong. Can somebody help me out? I got the toyota corolla s 2015. Thanks in advance.
JM Dilig I would suggest buying huge pack of fuses and then check both fuse boxes to see which one is blown then replace those and then put led in it should work also I don't have much experience putting led in corolla since I just bought it within same week so I was told to either unplug the battery then put led in before you blow any fuses
The map lights on the 2019 should be identical to as shown in this video. Unless, of course, the lights are stock LED which you cannot replace as they are soldered to a chip and board.
Thank you for contacting PrecisionLED. It is not typically difficult to remove any halogen bulb from your vehicle. However, we do sometimes require assistance with some tape. If you would like a more detailed explanation on how some tape may help, feel free to contact us directly at help@precisionled.com.
+PrecisionLED I broke the halogen bulb then just pulled it out with a long nose pliers but when I installed a new LED it was bent because I think the LED was long but it still works
I just received my package of LED lights from you guys.. And this video was so helpful and on point. installation was just like shown. And the lights are fuckin sick.!!!! my corolla S looks a lot sleeker now with this nice touch.. awesome vids and products. I'll be ordering the rest of my lights soon..
I would recommend watching the video I have linked below. It would likely help you to remove the halogen bulbs. ruclips.net/video/mXz0e_QB1F4/видео.html

Yes, you would need to use the T10 bulb that we installed in the video which you can find here: www.precisionled.com/t10-canbus-5-smd-led.html
will these work for the lights on the trunk as well ? the ones that shine on your license plate. Thanks

What bulbs would I need for a 2019 Toyota Corolla hatchback?
The kits linked in the description box above would be compatible with your 2019 Corolla!
Are those the 6k crystal white or the 8k cool white bulbs?
Thank you for your interest. The 6000K color temperature is used in the video.
Nice video my friend!! What about sun visor lights ???
I believe the sun visor lights you are referring to are stock LED, which you cannot replace as they are soldered to a chip and board.
