Just for the sake of the video it would be nice to see you test micro amps before and after to show the amount of effect the cleaning had on the sensor. Good diagnosis though. Experience makes all the difference, but I'm still big on proving what I've done is good.
@@Brooks.Mechanical.Electric Great suggestion. Next one I come across I'll test the micro amps before & after cleaning it so I can show what a dirty flame sensor reads vs a clean one. Thanks for watching Brooks & help support the channel by subscribing 🛠️👍
I've used a bill 💵 before, works great. I've always used emery cloth then I bought that supco flame sensor cleaner to try out. Thanks for watching Wolfhound & subscribe to the channel if you're not already 🛠️👍
Hey dont mean to be a super tech but ya really dont wanna use Emery cloth or sand paper on flame sensors...use 000 steel wool or a green scotch brite pad or even a dollar bill before you use sand paper...
It's all good, nobody is a super tech & appreciate the feedback. I've used steel wool & dollar bills before but I've been using emery cloth for 20 years & never had one fail cuz of it. You can read things online saying to use emery cloth & other places say don't use it. I've never had an issue. As long as you're not gouging the metal I think you'll be fine. Thanks for watching Benjamin 🛠️👍
