Man, I did not like making this video. The video came out okay, at least I think so. Just the mental strain of the gamemode itself and ultimately not even reaching our goal of 5 stars did not motivate me at all. I was really exhausted in our record run. Reviewing my performance was painful to look at. So many things could've been avoided and improved. I only kinda woke up during the 200 section. Ah well. I only started working on this about a month after the event ended. Everyday before that I had this inner feeling of wanting to make a video despite the outcome, but always throwing it away cause it just didn't feel worth it. Eventually I got tired and just started making this out of spite. Progress was great initially, but rather quickly became slow and nearly always forced. Was a slog to pull through, but we made it. I don't expect anything from this video. I'm treating it more of something to remember; while we didn't win, the journey I went on with my teammates was a unique one. We treaded through hell, we persevered together. Despite clearly walking into a brick wall for countless hours, we kept going. We almost made it, too. In the end, I'm happy it happened. I'd do it again. I'll be there.
i remember your 6 quadrillion damage video and i remember seeing you put up insane scores on hero mastery + arcade modes but I never realized they're the same person! You're awesome :D
Aside from how convoluted the scoring is, this mode had some cool ideas. I'm excited to see what increased "player choice" could look like in future modes (a term used in Aaron's Director's Take), since being able to choose what upgrades and stats you get could alleviate a lot of the miserable, mIsERabLE rng
Despite me kinda dissing everything here, the mode is honestly pretty good, I do like it, just not for score running. The RNG is just too much. Here's hoping that the next mode won't be as devastating as this one :D
SO CLOSE. Man I love this type of stuff, explaining weird ass mechanics about specific game-modes. It's really well put together too, I liked the editing and flow of it. I could've easily watched an hour long video that's only the ranting part lol. So yeah great stuff! I'd love to watch more like this :D
Been going pretty rough for me for a while now, seeing this kind of comment on this particular video (that hasn't seen barely anything) made me a lot happier, thank you. I'll try.
two minutes in the video and the score results for this mode seems just batshit insane DID THEY JUST LET A MONKEY BANG ON A NUMBERPAD FOR THESE SCORES ?😭
I show you. Then you cross like 100 or 125 meters something blocks you right? What happens if you skipped it. You will cross it and explore even more But there’s something above At 1000 or more meters. You will see something even blocks you too But what happens if you skip past them
If we look at it based on the result, the journey was terrible. Looking back at it though, all the shenanigans and hardships I had to go through with my friends was honestly one of the most fun things I've been able to go through. Sure, we all suffered, but there was something unique about it. I'd do it again, given the chance.
The game mode itself is alright, I'm not complaining about that. Logging on just to vibe is definitely something I could do. But the fact it does have a leaderboard, makes it somewhat competitive, at least to the people that are interested. It falls flat in this, nearly all systems in their current state just completely screw up any amount of competitiveness there could be; it's not a test of skill, it's ultimately who gets luckier.
Played this mode literally 2 times and was done. Props you guys had the will-power to slog through this travesty of an event. It could've been so good, too with the talents concept but was so lazily implemented. Sadge...
If you could choose which power-ups you want it would've been SO much better, honestly. Few more things changed here and there and it would've been great.
I feel your pain. This was so terrible. It was intitally me and my friend, and it took us almost a week (playing 7-8 games PER DAY) to finally get it. we found the best strategy was playing two tanks + two supports. it always took us the furthest in terms of survivability and strength. eventually banked the challenge but it took another friend + a few more grinding games to do it haha

Say what you want about Junkenstein's Endless, but at least it's clear what you have to do to score points.
archives were also clear with what needs to be done
shame they're gone
*like...god dammit cree just shut up already we need you dead to skip dialogue*
I love Endless! Just wish we could skip the initial 12 to 16 waves, then I would like to play it a lot more.

It really did feel like that lol
Hey carrier. What happens if you crossed the true barrier
What do you mean by that?
I show you. Then you cross like 100 or 125 meters something blocks you right?
What happens if you skipped it.
You will cross it and explore even more
But there’s something above
At 1000 or more meters.

But what happens if you skip past them
What is bro talking about 💀
If you pro at workshop experience you will know

Hands down, best game mode they've ever made

When will you be posting new halo 2 runs
I don't know, I'm pretty busy and I have other things I want to do. Can't guarantee anything right now.
Played this mode literally 2 times and was done. Props you guys had the will-power to slog through this travesty of an event. It could've been so good, too with the talents concept but was so lazily implemented. Sadge...
Pve is done😭

2 tanks + 2 supports is (most of the time) the best composition just to try and get a completion. Nice :)
Do solo mei
Man this game sucks why do I like it
I am in the same boat ;-;
Hello
Hi there!
Overwatch just dropped the ball with this......just like the game.
Indeed. As usual.
@CarrierArcnight So what now? Are you dropping the game until they maybe come out with another pve mode?
Basically. Been trying to work on something else but don't have that much time unfortunately.
