@joji_tek Doshaguma armor is in the long sword video that has been confirmed both by developers on stage and is obvious enough. You can even go wathc a livestream where it says "Doshaguma" Monster Hunter never includes armor if the monster doesn't exist. Congalala armor is in the Dual Blades video. You can tell by the helmet very easily, and its shoulder represents its skull. Yes, Congalala is in the game.

Yes! Although some possibly can’t return due to the story and ecosystems, I would love to see all the monsters back. Even the annoying ones just to say I’ve fought and kill all monsters in monster hunter. I’ve only played rise and world.
@@ikcurik I highly recommend you install a few emulators and try out old school MH. That's where I started with MH Freedom Unite on the PSP back in tbe OG days. It was a different ball game.
Congalala was a perfect monster for his role, regardless of how he may appear. He was the first of his skeleton and an intro monster with a new status, as well as a gimmick that gave him additional status effects and elements. He has a quirky animations that looks like it may become attacks but it's a counter psyche you out with his puffed up belly that he sure doesn't use like a counter, and some attacks end prematurely compared to later monsters that have them or they have an ending to the animation that is a detriment to him. The most iconic of these is his swiping combo that ends in him falling over, he also has his jump that ends in him bouncing on his belly. His use of mushrooms for other elements/statuses is great for using an early monster and giving him a lot of those effects so you learn what they are in an early stage of the game that is much less harsh with you. By the way, the mushroom he takes may be random but if you see it the status it gives is always related to the type he eats so you can tell what it is by its color. Him having poop, or the soiled status, is also a lesson. Items are important but don't take them for granted and always keep status cures on you. If you don't heed this lesson then you may find yourself in a bad position without the ability to heal for a while. Some have said one of the armors in the suiettes for the not yet reavealed weapon intros looks like congalala armor and I hope this is true. He has such a wonderful personality and I just want him back in a modern and slightly more threatening form. Please let him use mushrooms to change his breath attack's properties more often. They better keep his unique pitfall trap animation, he falls in face first so his but is sticking out and he can fart at anyone trying to do damage to him in that moment. They said a minimum of 2 large monsters will form herds with others that are also large monsters, they never said anything about large monsters as pack leaders of small monsters, or the lack of them. I hope we see more traditional back monsters along with the new herds. We did see a group of small raptors gang up on chatacabra but no big drome or great leading them. I bet congalala will be just solo as the big one but have his group of smaller ones with him, rather than a hard of the large monster.

Seriously, what the hell were they thinking with those hit boxes. It's like animaltion and hit box guys saw the rough shape and went "okay another flying wyvern shape so we all know those hit boxes, let me just port those." and no one told them his legs were twice as long so they had t adjust the hit boxes or animations. so the hit box is too dam low.

@mrgomer64 Thank you for your support and honesty. Means a lot. Yeah, some people like the history part, some don't, but it's a format that's been working, so if it ain't broken, don't fix it. But you can just use the chapters to skip through if you wish. Although I won't lie, it does hurt the video retention which is not good for the algorithm , but my viewers are more important to me.

I don't mind the history segments actually, I just think the pacing would be better if there was a short introduction to the monster and what makes it special before that, especially since me and the majority of people never played anything pre 5th gen. By the time the popularity poll was done the roster of the game must have already been decided and mostly finished. It was only a couple months ago so it probably won't have any effect on the base game
@amaurygatelier1157 good observation. But we also don't know how the development pipeline works for implementing monsters during the development of the game. Some are instantly decided without any second thought, like the Rathalos/Rathian and so on. There are monsters that are just obvious mainstays and will be in the game no matter what. Then there are new monsters as well, like Chatacabra, Balahara and Doshaguma. I believe the new ones are developed and implemented first before anyone of the returning ones. The returning ones are most likely left for last, and the core development is being focused on implementing new core gameplay systems like the focus mode, weapon changes, basic mechanics, and so on. Again, this is just my assumption on how Capcom's development pipeline works on MH games. Maybe they did use the popularity poll as a way to see which old monsters they should bring back. I mean, by the time the poll was done, they still had over a whole year to work on the game which I believe is plenty of time for them to work on bringing back some of the OGs. Then again, I could be completely wrong, just having a conversation.

the Thing that i would wish for Mh Wilds is that its more heavy on the weaker/earlyer Monsters Most Mh games have 1 huge problem ( at least for me) you have these goofy gimmicky Monsters who are actually really fun to fights but after a while these monsters get compleltly forgotten in game cause all you hunt later on are these mega powerfull things that destroy half of the map with one wingbeat im open and ppl can hate me for this but i enjoyed fighting Kecha-Wacha Great Maccau Seltas+ Queen Qurupeco and many more way more then fighting Teostra ,Alatreon ,Safi.jiva or so simply cause the lower Monsters have way more fun and unique moves not every move is suddenly a hit of mass destruction and theyr often way ..way more groundet as an living breathing animal
Qurupeco and Seltas are great additions. Hope they return. I have a video coming for Seltas soon. So stay tuned. Qurupeco video already exists, so go check it out if you haven't in the playlist. Great Maccao is not bad. Kecha Wacha is cool, but I believe there are better monkeys out there that could take his place.
I got a cool idea for a varient that will not be in the story but is just there just like its normal version. Wich is that they should Add a dodogamma varient that will just be there (like normal dodogamma). I got an idea for it: Sand-Munch Dodogamma. As the name suggests, he eats sand. Now what makes it interesting is that they lose blast. But they can spit out the sand when its molten setting you on fire and blinding you (like the sandstorms) cause well sand in your eyes. BUT if the sand is long enough in their mouth they spit out glass instead. Setting you on fire (maybe) and giving you bleed (since glass shards are sharp). This would be interesting sonce dodogamma is easy to dodge but hits hard. So making you not really able to dodge makes it hard yet maybe fun :).
@thegamingpanda5134 the idea sounds good, but I feel like there are far too many y sand monsters earlier that can return. We have cephadrome, nibelsnarf, diablos, monoblos, and so on. But yeah, a sand oriented dodogama is possible if they wanted to do it. I just think there are too many options already imo.
Short answer: yes. Long answer: Congalala gets a lot of unnecessary hate. Abimals fart. Some animals do far more disgusting things to fight and survive. There are flatowrms that duel with their penises. Farting isn't the end of the world. I get that people see Congalala as low brow and disgusting, but not all monsters are gonna be badass creatures. Sometimes we need silly, like Dodogama or Great Bulfango. Congalala is silly, annoying, and fun. And fun is important in any game.

I think congalala gets to much hate, he's fun, goofy and adds verity to the game and as long as they have a suitable jungle map for him I'm happy for him to be I wilds
My guy, I think my fave fart boy will definitely be in Wilds. There's a recent post in mhwilds subreddit how the DB silhouette closely resembles the Congalala armor. It's a spitting image, go check it out

I'm okay with it coming back for the nostalgia but it's honestly one of those "stepping stone" monsters that you have to fight to progress through the game. Nothing really special about it other than the goody experience.
@tomquinto1164 what you say is true but don't forget about the Emerald Congalala which is far more aggressive and more smelly and is only accessible during G Rank. Capcom can always find ways to spice it up.
@@Builimacen you should check it out, I bring up a lot of points on why I believe that he is combing back. There is also footage of Lagiacrus in Monster Hunter World. He was implemented but not put into the final game. Capcom had a prototype and I show the prototype in the video. :)
@wanz100 that would be a long quest. There are 6 monkeys in MH including Congalala, Blangonga, Rajang, Bishaten, Kecha Wacha and Gogomoa. That's not including their variants. There is the Copper Blangonga, Emerald Congalala, Blood Orange Bishaten and Furios Rajang. This would be a total 9 monkeys.

@Zhyreph it's on the official monster hunter wilds website. If you go on your desktop and then go to the weapon section, you will see a bunch of armor silhouettes with different weapons. Hunting Horn was revealed earlier and the dude is wearing a Bone set. The dual blades silhouette is there and if you look at the helmet it's the hair comb of the Congalala. So once dual blades video gets revealed we will finally see the full armor in it's glory.

When I google for Congalala set, it's always something with spikes on their shoulders and fell/hair comb around this plates, but nothing around their necks like that. You didnt meant a fluffy thing around the neck or such.. when you search the code of the website and look at the full picture you can see this hair spike on the head, I see.
@Zhyreph Yes, the spike on the head is what I was talking about. It looks like Congalala's hair/comb. As for HH videos, I was simply making a point that every different weapon was showing different, well-known classic armor sets. The HBG showed of the Metal set with a metal heavy bowgun. HH showed off the Bone set with a bone HH. And that the Duel Blades seem to point at a Congalala set once it is revealed if we look closely at the silhouette on the website.

Meh, I'm personally not a fan of the giant farting gorilla. There are better early monster choices besides him. Also, if they bring him back then we need some type of deodorant or cleaning system for his status effect, furthermore, he would be the only one to produce that status effect which makes it very unlikely Congalala will return. Unfortunately that also spells bad news for my boi Malfestio who I would love to see in Rise, but I don't think it will happen. This is speaking from the aspect of a developer in terms of business.
@anyany2021 there is a high chance of Congalala returning. The armor that's on website for the Dual Blades silhouette is looking like a Congalala helmet if you look closely.

@jimdob6528 I disagree with this, some of the monsters are just awful and should never be seen again like Gravios, Black Gravios. Really despise that one, very annoying to fight and just not fun. I also find Astalos, Almudron, Mizutsune unappealing just as a few examples.

simple answer is "no". More detailed answer is "we need other monke". Not even Rajang should come back anymore. The bat-monkey thing from Rise is also a better option for a monster with fruits mechanic.
@leonoliveira8652 I strongly believe Rajang will return. His a popular monster and has been in every single generation with the exception of the 3rd generation. He was introduced in the 2nd and didn't exist in the 1st and was not brought back for the 3rd. However, he then appeared in every single generation after that, including the 4th and 5th. I believe Rajang could go either way, really, so who knows

Capcom said that his large body and skeleton just wasn't working out well, and they didn't want to ruin the monster. I believe it was for the better, and I am pretty positive he will return in Wilds now that they fixed his skeleton. Balahara shares the same Skelton as Lagiacrus. If rather have a properly done monster than something half-baked.
@IaconDawnshire out of all the monkeys I find Ketcha Wacha the most uninteresting to fight to be honest. I do like Blood Orange Bishaten though quite a lot. Hope he comes back and Rajang is also a lot fun and challenging. I agree with Qurupeco, Malfestio and Great Jaggi. Great Jaggi while easy, is way more fun to fight than the stupid Velocidrome, Gendrome or the annoying ass Iodrome. Qurupeco could have some really cool new interactions in Wilds with other monsters with his calling ability. It would fit the theme and fantasy really well. Hope he comes back.

That and I feel like armor needs to have more customization options and bug stuff usually lets you change multiple patterns and colors. lol. Idk... maybe I'm just a dreamer.

If you go to the official momster hunter website and look at the Dual Blades armor silhouette you will see a helmet that literally resembles his hair comb. Once the dual blades get revealed we will know for sure.

@mrgomer64 Thank you for your support and honesty. Means a lot. Yeah, some people like the history part, some don't, but it's a format that's been working, so if it ain't broken, don't fix it. But you can just use the chapters to skip through if you wish. Although I won't lie, it does hurt the video retention which is not good for the algorithm , but my viewers are more important to me.
@@RathalosWatch I can tell you're one of few who actually cares about viewers by the fact that you reply to every comment, no matter what it sais, we are a rare breed to find these days.
I don't mind the history segments actually, I just think the pacing would be better if there was a short introduction to the monster and what makes it special before that, especially since me and the majority of people never played anything pre 5th gen.
It might be nitpicking a bit, but perfection is one area I excel at 😉

So I do my best to make it as clean and best as I possibly can otherwise I'd be sitting here forever with no co tent published. By the time the popularity poll was done the roster of the game must have already been decided and mostly finished.
It was only a couple months ago so it probably won't have any effect on the base game
@amaurygatelier1157 good observation. But we also don't know how the development pipeline works for implementing monsters during the development of the game. Some are instantly decided without any second thought, like the Rathalos/Rathian and so on. There are monsters that are just obvious mainstays and will be in the game no matter what. Then there are new monsters as well, like Chatacabra, Balahara and Doshaguma. I believe the new ones are developed and implemented first before anyone of the returning ones. The returning ones are most likely left for last, and the core development is being focused on implementing new core gameplay systems like the focus mode, weapon changes, basic mechanics, and so on.
Again, this is just my assumption on how Capcom's development pipeline works on MH games. Maybe they did use the popularity poll as a way to see which old monsters they should bring back. I mean, by the time the poll was done, they still had over a whole year to work on the game which I believe is plenty of time for them to work on bringing back some of the OGs. Then again, I could be completely wrong, just having a conversation.

the Thing that i would wish for Mh Wilds is that its more heavy on the weaker/earlyer Monsters
Most Mh games have 1 huge problem ( at least for me)
you have these goofy gimmicky Monsters who are actually really fun to fights
but after a while
these monsters get compleltly forgotten in game cause all you hunt later on are these mega powerfull things that destroy half of the map with one wingbeat

Qurupeco and Seltas are great additions. Hope they return. I have a video coming for Seltas soon. So stay tuned. Qurupeco video already exists, so go check it out if you haven't in the playlist. Great Maccao is not bad. Kecha Wacha is cool, but I believe there are better monkeys out there that could take his place.

I got a cool idea for a varient that will not be in the story but is just there just like its normal version. Wich is that they should Add a dodogamma varient that will just be there (like normal dodogamma).
I got an idea for it: Sand-Munch Dodogamma. As the name suggests, he eats sand. Now what makes it interesting is that they lose blast. But they can spit out the sand when its molten setting you on fire and blinding you (like the sandstorms) cause well sand in your eyes. BUT if the sand is long enough in their mouth they spit out glass instead. Setting you on fire (maybe) and giving you bleed (since glass shards are sharp). This would be interesting sonce dodogamma is easy to dodge but hits hard. So making you not really able to dodge makes it hard yet maybe fun :).
so.... POCKET SAND!
@thegamingpanda5134 the idea sounds good, but I feel like there are far too many y sand monsters earlier that can return. We have cephadrome, nibelsnarf, diablos, monoblos, and so on. But yeah, a sand oriented dodogama is possible if they wanted to do it. I just think there are too many options already imo.
As much as I like that idea I unfortunately got doubts it would happen given variants tend to happen to some flagship to elder dragon tier monsters

Short answer: yes.
Long answer: Congalala gets a lot of unnecessary hate. Abimals fart. Some animals do far more disgusting things to fight and survive. There are flatowrms that duel with their penises. Farting isn't the end of the world.
I get that people see Congalala as low brow and disgusting, but not all monsters are gonna be badass creatures. Sometimes we need silly, like Dodogama or Great Bulfango. Congalala is silly, annoying, and fun. And fun is important in any game.

I think congalala gets to much hate, he's fun, goofy and adds verity to the game and as long as they have a suitable jungle map for him I'm happy for him to be I wilds

I'm okay with it coming back for the nostalgia but it's honestly one of those "stepping stone" monsters that you have to fight to progress through the game. Nothing really special about it other than the goody experience.
@tomquinto1164 what you say is true but don't forget about the Emerald Congalala which is far more aggressive and more smelly and is only accessible during G Rank. Capcom can always find ways to spice it up.

@@Builimacen you should check it out, I bring up a lot of points on why I believe that he is combing back. There is also footage of Lagiacrus in Monster Hunter World. He was implemented but not put into the final game. Capcom had a prototype and I show the prototype in the video. :)

@wanz100 that would be a long quest. There are 6 monkeys in MH including Congalala, Blangonga, Rajang, Bishaten, Kecha Wacha and Gogomoa. That's not including their variants. There is the Copper Blangonga, Emerald Congalala, Blood Orange Bishaten and Furios Rajang. This would be a total 9 monkeys.

It's unfortunate that I did not get to include that in the video because it happened right when I posted it and it was too late -_- otherwise I would have included the gear in the video. @Zhyreph it's on the official monster hunter wilds website. If you go on your desktop and then go to the weapon section, you will see a bunch of armor silhouettes with different weapons. Hunting Horn was revealed earlier and the dude is wearing a Bone set. The dual blades silhouette is there and if you look at the helmet it's the hair comb of the Congalala. So once dual blades video gets revealed we will finally see the full armor in it's glory.
@@RathalosWatch But what has it to do with the HH reveal? And honestly.. I don't see it, maybe I am dumb. When I google for Congalala set, it's always something with spikes on their shoulders and fell/hair comb around this plates, but nothing around their necks like that.
Edit: Oh wait, now I know what you meant. You didnt meant a fluffy thing around the neck or such.. when you search the code of the website and look at the full picture you can see this hair spike on the head, I see.
@Zhyreph Yes, the spike on the head is what I was talking about. It looks like Congalala's hair/comb. As for HH videos, I was simply making a point that every different weapon was showing different, well-known classic armor sets. The HBG showed of the Metal set with a metal heavy bowgun. HH showed off the Bone set with a bone HH. And that the Duel Blades seem to point at a Congalala set once it is revealed if we look closely at the silhouette on the website.

Fart boi will be Wild in MH Wilds.
Meh, I'm personally not a fan of the giant farting gorilla. There are better early monster choices besides him. Also, if they bring him back then we need some type of deodorant or cleaning system for his status effect, furthermore, he would be the only one to produce that status effect which makes it very unlikely Congalala will return. Unfortunately that also spells bad news for my boi Malfestio who I would love to see in Rise, but I don't think it will happen. This is speaking from the aspect of a developer in terms of business.
@anyany2021 there is a high chance of Congalala returning. The armor that's on website for the Dual Blades silhouette is looking like a Congalala helmet if you look closely.

@jimdob6528 I disagree with this, some of the monsters are just awful and should never be seen again like Gravios, Black Gravios. Really despise that one, very annoying to fight and just not fun. I also find Astalos, Almudron, Mizutsune unappealing just as a few examples.

@leonoliveira8652 I strongly believe Rajang will return. His a popular monster and has been in every single generation with the exception of the 3rd generation. He was introduced in the 2nd and didn't exist in the 1st and was not brought back for the 3rd. However, he then appeared in every single generation after that, including the 4th and 5th. I believe Rajang could go either way, really, so who knows

@leonoliveira8652 I do not believe they did dirty Lagiacrus dirty by taking him out of World. Capcom said that his large body and skeleton just wasn't working out well, and they didn't want to ruin the monster. I believe it was for the better, and I am pretty positive he will return in Wilds now that they fixed his skeleton. Balahara shares the same Skelton as Lagiacrus. If rather have a properly done monster than something half-baked.

@IaconDawnshire out of all the monkeys I find Ketcha Wacha the most uninteresting to fight to be honest. I do like Blood Orange Bishaten though quite a lot. Hope he comes back and Rajang is also a lot fun and challenging. I agree with Qurupeco, Malfestio and Great Jaggi. Great Jaggi while easy, is way more fun to fight than the stupid Velocidrome, Gendrome or the annoying ass Iodrome. Qurupeco could have some really cool new interactions in Wilds with other monsters with his calling ability. It would fit the theme and fantasy really well. Hope he comes back.

@damondavidson2929 to be honest, I find insects like monsters the most boring in video games. But some of them are decent in MH. Don't like Rakna Kidaki though from Rise. Nerscylla is the better spider imo.

@@Darkwarp1994 Any and all bug monsters need to be re-evaluated. Some of the armor sets and some of the weapons were very useful and fun to play with the effects on. That and I feel like armor needs to have more customization options and bug stuff usually lets you change multiple patterns and colors. lol. Idk... maybe I'm just a dreamer.
