They shoulda included 4-8 guards of different varieties, if they did it would actually sell and do well, and have the bonus of being accurate to the film!

tsunamidragon_28 I used to have the c3po and r2d2 escape pod set that I got from target, and one of the stormtrooper helmets were missing, and so was the 2 by 4 plate connecting the two main peices. And I was six and devastated.
So snoke figure is really accurate because he comes in half.
You could say that about, Maul aswell.

Nope, I'm not spending $70 for 492 pieces and 5 mini-figures. It would be better to spend $100+ on the 1000+ pieced Resurgence Star Destroyer.

@@allenmurallo6795 Bruh, i went to target today and this set was 10 bucks on clearance, which is irregular because clearance lego sets are usually in the 20, 30,35 dollar range. So, i picked it up. Then i saw why.. Most of the peices were chipped or smashed, and the praetorian guards helmets were chipped and broke. Snokes head look like it got bit by a dog and all the epices were loosed and it was resealed. So...
I think this set is perfectly fine but I still might wait for it to drop in price. I do think Lego should have included a red background of some sort, but I understand why thy dint, ad I think it could be just as easy to do it myself. I think most people forget from 2012 the Palpatine's arrest set where it was 600+ pieces for $90, and still didn't have much wall, much like this set. That was $30 overpriced as compared to $20 for this set. I'd love to see you do a comparison between 2012 Palpatibne's Arrest, 2015 Death Star Duel and this set if you have them all. Still really love this set especially since the Rey and Snoke are only in $100+ sets I don't have or care much about. Nice review!

I got this set the other day and my pieces we fine with none missing or replaced. I totally agree on the price tho. Terrible value but a decent set.
I do have to thank you for the Target tip from your haul vid. I went out and spent the day searching my local stores and was able to snag 6 of the new sets.
When I bought Luke's Hut, I was missing HALF the pieces. In their place were doubles of the pieces I got. I hope this doesn't become a trend...
I think the jumping feature is better for the guards because it can represent Rey or Kylo force push or pull the guards

I’m gonna get this set mainly because I LOVE the First Order. Jedi Rey and Snoke plus praetorian guards and a cool build (in my opinion) i think I’ll pick it up when it’s discounted

I figured out how to fix the Smoke figure! Make a printed 2x2x3 (98560) slope brick instead of the old 2x2x2 (3678) they've previously been using for dresses/robes! You can then justify the only large throne by setting him in deep into the workings, maybe even have faux legs to simulate him sitting (think Battlesaurs' Cleric from "Toy Story That Time Forgot"). Then install a pin function to the back of the throne to provide the force (heh) to push his torso off of the slope piece, and voila--you have a LEGO set with a feature to disembowel a minifigure!
... Would LEGO really go for that?
I recently bought and built the new ucs falcon, after i built it there was a lot of small left over pices and a flexitube. BUT there was also a Light gray 1x8 flat tile. I have searched the instruction several times and it drives me mad. Have a skipped a pice or is this my first set with a messed up pice count?

It's expensive but it's still a good model. I mean yea it doesn't have the red curtains but it has everything this needs. The throne, the walk-way, the right figs. It's still a good display piece. Maybe 2 more guards and the curtain could've made this a better set. Thanks for the review.

About 15 years ago (early noughties), Lego started up a sports line, which included football (soccer) fields in its first generation, and later on, started doing basketball as a theme. These basketballers were made with extra long legs (not by much), so they could have springs in their legs ---- I just thought you ought to know this, that they *DID* make extra long legs for a short span of Lego's history.
I think the price is high however if you want a red background that seems easily accomplishable for your own display
The missing pieces are just a rare manufacturing error. LEGO measures sets to be shipped out by weight so that’s why a piece was missing and another was included. It happened to me once! If you call LEGO and have the part number in hand, they will ship it to you for free. Good customer service for things like this

I also had a problem with a set containing a wrong piece. My USC slave 1 was missing a dred slope and in its place was a torso piece from an at the time unreleased in America ninjago set. Wonder how often this is happening now.
Its happened to me before. Years back when I bought the 75021 Republic Gunship it was missing a white arch piece and had a large white plate piece in its place.
The small technic ball piece in my copy of the battle of naboo set was replaced with a 1x1 light blue tooth piece

I have had many times where I'm building a set I am missing a crucial part.
And i mean crucial. When I was building the batmobile from the lego batman movie I was missing one of the parts that connects the wheel to the body.
You can use the praetorian guard constraction figure waist cake as a background
I had this problem with missing and wierd extra piecies in the ucs falcon 75192
What they should've thrown in was a broken or regular kylo rens helmet so you can recreate the helmet scene
There was one time where I got the Justice League Knightcrawler Tunnel Attack earlier in the week, and my parents said I could open it on my birthday. On my birthday, I was so excited to open it and build it bc I really liked the Flash figure, and when I opened it up, there was a small green baseplate, a lego horse, a magnetic train, and other assorted pieces. That was very saddening
I was missing a peice in the force awakens melleniam falcon, it was a 1x2 slope with one stud on top in grey or greyish blue. I can't find it and I don't take apart any sets so I don't have a replacement, so I'm assuming this has happened to multiple people.

I saw RAW potential and something special
I like how Snoke's movie design was simple, but effective. It's just too bad it couldn't really be translated too well into a minifigure. I feel like a uniquely molded figure just a bit taller than a standard minifigure that could capture his stature and build.
Cool video and I would not pay that much for a snoke room that small. Also, what music did you use in the end of this video?
There’s so little floor space to recreate a fight scene. My LEGO Praetorian Guard need is satisfied by the far superior looking buildable figure. Definitely won’t be buying this set.
I experienced the same thing with a LEGO ninjago set The Temple of Resurrection but it was only 1 piece
hey Ryan. I missed out on the 2 sets Snoke and Ray were in and both were $300NZD here and I can get this set cheap at $99NZD normally $120NZD down here so its the best way for me to get those fig and the 2 guards rock.

One time I bought Ach to training and didn't get Luke's Cape. I was mad and I checked the replacement pieces on the Lego shop and they were sold out.
Maybe the brown Technic piece was from the Tattooine Battle Pack, and they were packaged in the same place, and there was a mix-up.

I had a similar thing happen to me with a Harry Potter set. I was missing a 2×2 circular brick, and in its place, I got an extra Hermione torso.

That brown beam is from the Tatooine battle pack, I Believe. So there might be a battle pack with the black plate
