I see many beginners use the manual completion process as this gives them time to get the Etsy funds into their account. Hi, great question. I don't get many requests for returns, however, when I do, I ask the buyer what is the issue. If it was a print issue, I ask to show me a picture and I have Printify replace it.
Hi Jay, great tutorial mate. Something I have to find out. When I created my Etsy store, the process asked me for 2 factor authentication, and I had to eventually list 5 items to open my store. When listing items, I have to enter who my business partners are and how I made the product and list a price etc. All I want to do is POD. This is way different to the way you explained it .... have I registered incorrectly on Etsy ? If I don't do the above I cannot access my store !! Please advise as I am really keen to get started. So I saw you marked up to 70% profit margin so you can creat daily sales. Can you tell me what you do for creating your sales page? For example how much percentage off shall I add in the Etsy store? Thanks for your content.
Hi Samantha, thank you for your comment. So I typically run 30% thru 50% daily sales in my shop depending on what sales strategy I am using. Lately, I have been sticking with 40% off.
You also forgot to mention that if you are a new store with etsy, they will likely put you on a payment account reserve and hold a portion of your sale for up to 45 days unless you pay for tracking...
I heard that is happening to people now. That was not a major issues at the recording of this video. Since this is now happening, it is best to stat with a $100 to cover the first couple of orders until you are able to build up your funds. I hope Etsy changed this soon.

Hi and thank you for your question. So you do have an option to set your shop up for no refunds. If you do want to offer refunds, it is best to set some requirements for refund products such as time frame, poor quality product, or damage goods. I allow my customers to return products, however I have this up to promote a risk free environment when purchasing. If there is an issue with the product, Printify is very helpful with returns and sending out additional products. The Customer need to show you the damage item so you can send that over to Printify if needed. I hope this helps.
Great video!! New subbie here! The only thing that I don't understand is, you chose Monster Digital in Printify to supply your shirts but when you went to Etsy you checked Swift POD.
Yes, I was working with two print partners at the time, however, you will only choose the print partner you are working with. In this case, it would be Monster Digital.
When starting out should I start a LLC because I do want to make sure I can utilize business benefits. Or did you start as a sole proprietor? If so, how was it switching over from sole proprietor (hobby) to LLC?

What i’m really concerned about is, it has to charge you first for the production costs and stuff before you even get paid for those orders. So you have to make sure to have a couple thousand dollars in savings so that you can pay for the orders before you even get paid. I didn’t know this and I barley have any money to pay for the orders i’m getting right now so i’m not sure what to do
When selecting a supplier, I am also duplicating the same product and creating new designs. But should you be looking at other suppliers also, or just stick with one? Sometimes inventory is low for the supplier I want to use. But they are cheap and good quality. Appreciate your feedback in advance 🙏🏻
I would just stick with one supplier. If you are selling POD shirts, the inventory level normally returns to normal within the day. You could also setup order rerouting so that if you do get an order when the item it out of stock, the order will automatically forward to another Print provider to print and ship out the item. I hope this helps.

Hi, thanks for posting this! Do you consider promotion on social media like Twitter and Instagram necessary to have more visibility or is it enough to just rely on Etsy's paid ads?
Social media is not needed to get visibility. I personally use Etsy ads as this is my strategy to get my products seen very quickly. You can do this organically, however, it may take time for your listings to be ranked on Etsy.
He explains it better but you’ll be purchasing it w the money you get from Etsy, it’ll be a manual process & whenever it grows to where you’ve got more money than it costs to buy on printify then you could set it up to be automatic so I believe you won’t have to do much besides maintain everything (correct me if I’m wrong anyone)
How do you do this without you having to put out money to pay for the order instead of waiting for the order to be fulfilled and then you get paid? I hope I'm making sense. Is there a way that the buyer's payment goes directly into your account FIRST then places the order? I've had to use my own money from my account connected to Printify, which I do not like at all!
What I don't understand is this: you are already choosing a provider in Printify when you choose your basis product to be printed. Why then do you have to select "a new production partner" in Etsy as well? I thought this part was being taken care of. Or is it so that the provider in Printify is just for the shirt, and the one in Etsy is for the actual printing? Please help.

Hey I have a question, do my shipping cost automatically get transferred from pritify to Etsy or do I have to add them in my Etsy shop manually?
What I don't understand is this: you are already choosing a provider in Printify when you choose your basis product to be printed. Why then do you have to select "a new production partner" in Etsy as well? I thought this part was being taken care of. Or is it so that the provider in Printify is just for the shirt, and the one in Etsy is for the actual printing? Please help.
